The team at Starlight were very courtious and went out of the way to make us comfortable while we waited - treating ua to lunch at a local diner and pointing us to a great dog park to visit for our two pugs. The staff were friendly with our dogs and did an outstanding job on the install, walking us through what they did and makong sure we were comfortable with the work - even letting us boondock overnight to confirm everything was as expected. Highly, highly recommended and the only place I'd take an RV for solar work. We'll definitely use them again if needed!

Super shady to encourage people to leave reviews after they've only stopped by and chatted about the job. I've called several times and it's only been excuses. If this is the way they work, steer clean of this company. They also did my neighbor's carport roof. It leaked horribly because they did it wrong. Took her a lot of bugging to get them to come back. They tried a quick fix, but it obviously didn't work. Finally they did something more. They put spray foam and recoated. They were extremely quick. They were there only a few hours. Not sure how that's going to work out. It still looks like a swimming pool up there every time it rains.

As the home owner and the person who was requesting solar, I continued with the meeting. He then went to "mansplain" how solar and the tax credits would work. He also didn't tell me he was training someone until my doorbell rang. Thanks for the heads up. Ultimately, I was getting a decent quote for solar, and it was something that I wanted. He also told me "you're under no obligation until the panels are installed on your roof". Because of this, I figured I would start the process. Solar is smart for my brand new home..... I got scheduled for a site visit in order to assess my roof. Which was cancelled. Why? I have no idea. When I contacted the company, I got no response. My site visit was rescheduled a second time. And again. No reason why. Luckily I found the card of another solar company.....They helped me figure out the situation. Because my "loan" was on hold, (I never gave them my account information because I was still under the impression that I was under no obligation), my site visit would never have actually happened. I was "locked in" with SunRate. Yet the site visits would never have happened or I would have never known about it because I was "under no obligation". Luckily, the second company I decided to go with, was fantastic. They helped me navigate the mess up that this company has caused me. I'm now ACTUALLY in the process of getting some solar panels. And I know this because they've contacted me every step of the way! Ultimately I DO NOT recommend this company. I should have kicked the guy out of my house the minute he decided my "husband" was the one in charge.
