Cleaned out our ducting at our river house. Nice folks and reasonable price seemed like a good quality work for the price we paid.

One Hour Air Conditioning and Heating

Not an appointment when the office opened (what is the point of advertising 24/7 service if you only give appointments from 8-5???) nor did they let my call roll into a voicemail with a faux apology for missing my call. I had been calling every single listing from the time I walked into my home to find out the AC had stopped working until One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning answered my call. That's 38 calls. A house that reached an internal temp of 105 degrees. Five hours. Two overheated dogs. One cold shower. Several tears shed. By 4 a.m., I'd given up hope. That's okay though because after crying on the phone with the woman who took my call, I found that their service was worth the wait. My unit is 24 years old. Cory explained what was wrong with my AC, and what a new unit would cost - just to prepare me. But... he also told me that we could probably get one more fix into his unit first. Get a few more summers out of it. Uh. OK! Done! Know what else I learned? The reason that Cory couldn't get to me until 7 a.m. was because HE LIVES IN FLORENCE! He admires and respects the owners of One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning so much that he's willing to drive an hour plus each way to and from work just for them in the west valley because of their business model, and the way they treat their employees. That says a lot... about Cory, about the owners, and about the service I received. Oh - all the other companies I called? They saw my number on their caller IDs and started calling me about 8 a.m. asking if I still needed help. No. I don't... and because of One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning, I never will.

I rarely post bad reviews, but people need to be warned. Our downstairs A/C unit failed, and I…read morecalled One Hour. They were timely on arrival (within their 4-hour window) but that is about it for this company. Ryan, the technician diagnosed the issue as a leaking compressor and told us that because of the age of the unit (installed 2013) it and the air handler would have to be replaced. He gave us an initial estimate of $14,000. I told him I would have to discuss it with my wife and I would get back to him. He gave me a business card with his name and the company's phone numbers preprinted on it. I did find it strange that he hand wrote his cell phone number on the card and told me it was so I could call him directly. I was charged $89 for a service call. For $14,000 I thought it would be prudent to get a second opinion. Boy, am I glad I called Hansberger A/C. Their technician accurately diagnosed the problem. A combination of electrical pieces and a leaky muffler. The entire repair was less than $1,500. I was tempted to call One Hour and ask for my $89 back but then decided I should just let it go. So, if you have someone tell you that it's time to replace your entire unit take a gamble. Hansberger only charges $65 for their service call and if they perform a repair the fee is waived. It turned out to be a good bet for me.
