We arrived to our park model in Fortuna De Oro and found that our heating and air unit was not working. We asked friends and neighbors for recommendations and Frank's was one of them. We had a couple of people come out to give us an estimate. Frank came out the same day, checked everything out, and his estimate was $1300 cheaper than the others! Most recently the fan motor went out when it was over 100 degrees outside. We called Frank's at 4:30 and Estaban had a new motor in by 6:30. Frank's tech came out and gave me a bid on a replacement and all went well until I said I would be paying with a BankAmericard Visa check. The woman at the office said it was phony or forged check even though the tech attached the documentation that came with it. Basically, she accused me of trying to pass a 'bad check'. I talked to her a few days later and she said "Franks don't take FAKE checks" so now I sit with a broken heat pump waiting on a bid from a professionally run business. All was going well until their uninformed back office got involved. read more

We replaced our system with a new heat pump. Franks showed up on time, and removed and replaced our ducts and the equipment for a 1400 sq. ft. house in under 4 hours. That included putting in a larger vent inside the house. They were quick and efficient, and everything was cleaned up after. The new system is much nicer than the older one, which wasn't terribly old but had already failed. Love the new thermostat too. read more

Very professional and personable. After making a repair to my heat pump, I called them to come back out a week later to check why the unit was not responding right away when I made changes on the thermostat. The technician checked everything over including the thermostat only to determine that because of the age of the thermostat, it was designed with a delay function and was working just as it was supposed to. (User error!). After all that trouble, I was not charged for the service call! Frank's has been my only HVAC service ever since I moved here and will continue to be in the future! Amazing service! Came out the next day, fixed what the previous A/C guy had done (ran wires incorrectly) and did it for less money. Extremely polite and professional and cleaned up after themselves which the previous one didn't do either. I would recommend them and would use them again. read more

Very disappointing experience. We had them come and do a routine maintenance check, thinking we were doing the correct thing by having the air conditioning and heat pump serviced. When we needed heat, nothing. I called several times and left messages. Granted, it was a three day week-end but I still expected a return call from someone, as it was an almost emergency. It wasn't until I left another message on Tuesday, that Frank called me back. I told him we found someone to fix our problem, but I would sure like to know what we spent nearly over $150 with his company for? He stated, I will see if I can reimburse you for the Freon.. haven't heard from Frank again or received a cent. We went with this business because they advertise as the Rheem authorized dealer.
