The initial service less than two years ago was very good. But today the unit is not cooling and there is NO 24 hour service. So I had to call some other company to help. I am not at all happy. read more

AC stopped working in the middle of Yuma extreme heat. Called FH AC, they had two calls ahead of me. With in 2 hours they were at my house. They quickly found my problem which was a drain issue caused by an incorrect install of sensor by the company that installed the air handler, when our house was built. A quick cleaning of the sensor and we were up and running. read more

Our daughter called Foothills Air Conditioning to check/repair their new air conditioner that stopped working. I should mention that her husband was out of town and she has three very small children. Once the unit was "checked" by Foothills Air, she was told that the "coil" was bad and that the unit probably needed several hundred dollars worth of refrigerant, which could last a few hours, or maybe a few days. The cost of the "coil" would be "Over $3,000 not counting labor...." Our daughter called a friend and her husband came over, checked the unit, talked to another friend who does HVAC and cleaned a vent, defrosted the coil and the machine is working good as new....no cost. I will let others decide if this company was trying to rip off a woman, alone with several small children, in 100+ degree heat. read more

I didn't even want to give them one star Very upset with this company My parents ac was blowing out hot air. They had foothills air condition come out to look at it. they were told they needed a whole new unit which was 6000 and that they had to have atlesst 3500 to put down to get financed well they are on a fixed income and don't have 3500 not even close to it. thank goodness they have family and friends who found the a swamp cooler and and a portable ac or they would have been toasted. well a month has went by and we had someone was going to donate an old air condition and so when they got to my parents they found out that the duct was off the vent some button was turned off but they had never even looked under the trailer and I feel they just tried to come up on two elderly people and would have if we wouldn't have checked our self. just wondering how many others did they cone up on due to the weather in Yuma az you have to have air condition any ways I am going to go down and talk to the owner soon read more

*****Warning****** I'm not sure how this company ever got such a great rating, but I just called and spoke to a older man. He was so rude and was yelling into the phone. I can't imagine what his customer service is like if he's cussing at me because I asked him how much they charge for labor per hour. I told him that I found his company thru Yelp.com and he tried to apologize and told me that I called at the wrong time, because he was working on top of a daycares roof. Lost my AC at 4:45PM when it was 108 outside. Tried turning off the unit for 15 minutes and then turned it back on. Still only warm air. Called Foothills AC who has been my provider since 2004. Since it was after 5 and hot outside I was not surprised that there was no answer. Left my name and number and requested a call. Left the unit on for the fan. At about 6:00 or 45 minutes after I turned it back on, the unit started sending cold air. At 8:30 the next morning Foothills AC called. I quite hysterically told them the problem and, while the unit was now working fine, I thought they needed to come do a check. He responded that they knew my equiment and knew the problem was in the thermostat. The batteries were going. Over the phone he walked me through changing the battery. Bottom line, by asking a few questions, they were able to detect the problem and resolve it without making any kind of trip to the house and at NO cost. Great service. read more

This company is amazing! My air conditioner stopped working on a Sunday and 18 hours later, with outside temperatures in the 100's, inside my home it was 97! My 7:15 AM voice message was returned less than 30 minutes later and although I was #4 on the call list, the technician was at my house in under an hour. It took less than 20 minutes for the repair and the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend Foothills AC & Heating! read more

Well to start off they seemed more confused than i was about the AC unit. Then the owner or whoever came by to look at it and that is when the attitude and rudeness started. I asked a few questions and he started getting louder and louder with his answers till started yelling. So consumer beware of the attitude and lack of customer service. read more

We called at 11 am and they showed up at 12 pm and went to work. Fast and courteous service and price was very reasonable. Repaired work that previous company had done as a temporary repair and didn't return to fix it right. Job well done. read more
