If this is the way they work, steer clean of this company. They also did my neighbor's carport roof. It leaked horribly because they did it wrong. Took her a lot of bugging to get them to come back. They tried a quick fix, but it obviously didn't work. Finally they did something more. They put spray foam and recoated. They were extremely quick. They were there only a few hours. Not sure how that's going to work out. It still looks like a swimming pool up there every time it rains.

We were dealing with a melted electrical panel that posed a real fire risk due to overload, and after having multiple electricians come out, none were able--or willing--to properly help us. We were without electricity for 15 days, completely exhausted, and in urgent need of a licensed and certified contractor who could handle the project correctly, with permits and everything up to code. After 14 days, we finally came across SBB Electric --and everything changed. In less than 24 hours, we had the city permit issued, a new 200 amp panel and complete installation. No other company came close to that level of organization and urgency. SBB Electric was the only company that came fully prepared with the proper documentation required for city permits. Other electricians tried to have us sign as owner-builders, which the city clerk specifically advised us against. SBB immediately understood the situation and stepped in when we had nowhere else to turn. They even drove all the way from the Imperial Valley to help us, which speaks volumes about their commitment and professionalism. Despite the distance, SBB Electric showed up and got everything done--installation, connection, city approval, and SDG&E approval--in less than 5 hours. It was incredible. Communication throughout the entire process was clear, responsive, and professional, which made a huge difference during such a stressful time. Not only was their work efficient and professional, but they also took the time to clean up thoroughly, restore the stucco, and walk us through both the process beforehand and a detailed summary afterward. The city inspection passed quickly, and we were able to reconnect with SDG&E that same day! We are beyond grateful for their expertise, honesty, and dedication. Has a meeting scheduled in order to get quotes for solar. The guy showed up. Expected my "husband"…read moreto come talk to him. I ignored this slight because it's something I've experienced before. As the home owner and the person who was requesting solar, I continued with the meeting. He then went to "mansplain" how solar and the tax credits would work. He also didn't tell me he was training someone until my doorbell rang. Thanks for the heads up. Ultimately, I was getting a decent quote for solar, and it was something that I wanted. He also told me "you're under no obligation until the panels are installed on your roof". Because of this, I figured I would start the process. Solar is smart for my brand new home..... I got scheduled for a site visit in order to assess my roof. Which was cancelled. Why? I have no idea. When I contacted the company, I got no response. My site visit was rescheduled a second time. And again. No reason why. Luckily I found the card of another solar company.....They helped me figure out the situation. Because my "loan" was on hold, (I never gave them my account information because I was still under the impression that I was under no obligation), my site visit would never have actually happened. I was "locked in" with SunRate. Yet the site visits would never have happened or I would have never known about it because I was "under no obligation". Luckily, the second company I decided to go with, was fantastic. They helped me navigate the mess up that this company has caused me. I'm now ACTUALLY in the process of getting some solar panels. And I know this because they've contacted me every step of the way! Ultimately I DO NOT recommend this company. I should have kicked the guy out of my house the minute he decided my "husband" was the one in charge.
