I bought a 600+ foot long roll of poly pipe yesterday. Was told the pipe was 100psi. When I got the pipe home I looked it up online it is actually 53 to 57 psi. I returned the pipe today and they charged me a 15% restocking fee. Even though they told me it was the 100 psi. I will find other places to do my shopping. read more

The staff is always pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable! They have a wide selection of cares for plants that are mostly outdoors in the heat of Yuma so you'll know they'll last. The workers were very attentive and helpful and got us what we needed. They went above and beyond to help us- even drove us around in a golf cart to see all the options they suggested. The outdoor staff and products are great! Well organized and easy to locate inventory. The inside staff are totally rude and unaccomodating. They need to go home and retire. They took a pleasant experience into a very unpleasant exit. Poor attitude, threw our invoice into the garbage and barked at us "what do you want lady" when we asked for each couple to have their own invoice. We drove 1200 miles just to shop here! Not really, we came down to visit friends. We love desert/tropical plants, and this place stoked our love affair. We want a home full of palms and rocks. Yuma Nursery had a big selection of plants that grow in the area. As well as rock products and soil amendments. Prices were more that fair. Our friends really wanted a Bismarck Palm. I priced one to ship to them, $380. This place had them at $89. The service was top notch. We never lifted a finger. Everything was picked up, and transported to the back of my truck. Side note, seek out Robert. We had such a great time shopping with him. His knowledge was indispensable. read more

We are new to the area and wanted to see what plants would grow well here. We had shopped at Home Depot and the grocery stores but they were very limited on what they had. Yuma Nursery Supply has pretty much everything that will grow here. Fruit trees, vegetables, flowering bushes, etc. Also outdoor decorations and supplies. I purchased an ocotillo from Yuma nursery, had one of their employees plant it, 8-9 months later dead as can be. called the nursery and was told they do not guarantee their plants , they said Michael their employee was responsible. the gentleman that answered the phone was arrogant and uncaring. we do not recommend them nor will buy from them. their past success has gone to their head. read more

If I could give this ZERO stars I would !! Went in there today looking for a decorative Boulder . Found one we liked was quoted $375 for the rock plus $80 for delivery . The price then doubled to $700 once they picked it up and weighed it . Next to the weigh station there was another rock I liked and wanted to purchase. Then I hear the owner on the radio chime in that I would need to be charged an extra 50$ on top or the 80$ delivery fee for them to pick up the rock that was 200ft away from the first rock ! So they want to charge me $50 on the spot , to pick up a rock and weight in order to give me a price ?? The owners words were "so the pile of rocks in the back isn't good enough for him " It's hard to support local businesses when they have such a greedy owner . Good luck to your business read more

Called twice to confirm that rock needed was in stock. Let the front office staff know that I was coming from 60 miles away, they confirmed twice that it was in stock. Once I arrived about an hour later, not only was the rock not there but the employee let me know that they've been out of the product for about 2 months now. I called and spoke with the man I initially talked to, he said " I guess we're all out, nothing I can do now". Didn't even apologize or show any kind of accountability for what happened. VERY unprofessional! Business is very much lacking in integrity, will never do business with them again. read more

Sure it is a tad bit more expensive than the chains but it is a local business. The plants I get here tend to be ones that are not found at the chains so I can't really compare that aspect. I have also gone here for getting flagstone. The employees here are extremely helpful and courteous. I've had them deliver the stones to my house no problem. They are cheaper for delivery of these types of material than home depot. I just wish they were located closer to where I live. Its a little bit of a pain to drive over there. Overall its a nice place. read more

Lowe's is generally the place to buy plants. Sure, Yuma Nursery might have some more depth to their selection, but (for instance) asking $20 extra for the same fig tree at Lowe's is absurd. Putting the same tree in a larger 15 gallon bucket shouldn't make it more expensive. Plus, most plants at Lowe's are generally in better shape and are less expensive. Again, they do have a decent variety of plants though, as well as a fair selection (good ones mixed with moldy/ chipped) of decorative stones/ rocks. read more

I have used yuma nursery for landscaping materials and trophy plants after I built my first house and returned there for more plants after building the second house. You can order gravel, irrigation supplies, flowering plants, citrus, and desert plants. The workers are knowledgeable and will guide you right. read more

I went to Yuma Nursery asking for a recommendation for a memorial tree to be planted in Yuma in memory of a good friend. I was told to get a flowering pear as it would survive in the type of soil I had brought to them to see and was optimal for the Yuma weather and needed limited water. I was told to plant it in February-April to have the tree survive. We purchased the tree and planted it in March Last week we brought a tree expert from Phoenix in to look at the tree since it was doing so poorly. The expert said the tree was completely wrong for Yuma, wrong for the soil, planted at the wrong time, and on the wrong watering cycle. The tree is beyond saving and all the money that was raised to pay for the memorial to our friend is wasted. Yuma Nursery gave us the complete wrong information simply to make a sale they knew would not survive. I am so dissapointed, angry, and heart broken that Yuma Nursery was so callous and wrong with their advice. read more

Bought 1/2 Yuma white 2 months ago. Wanted more of the same color and decided to go with 3/4 inch. Was told they only had 2 sizes. In main office they offered to show me the pile, my mistake for thinking I don't need to see the pile since I already like the Yuma white color and buying a size 1/8 more SHOULD NOT EVER be 1 inch more.... That's just common sense... BUT, when the 3/4 inch I ordered was delivered, the landscapers brought it to my attention and said it was 1 1/2 size to them, I asked my neighbor w/ a pump truck business to look at it, he told me the same. So I filled a box with my 1/2 order of rocks and the new "supposed to be 3/4" rocks", I went to Yuma Nursery. I showed my box of old order and new order, to a worker, they said the rock looked 1/2 and the new order 1- 11/2, they told me to speak with Mike the owner in the trailer... I asked Mike same question, what size do you think these are---he said 1/2 and the other 1 1/8 inch... BUT since I didn't look at the pile when ordering and because Mike said what ever they get told is 3/4 sent to them, that's the way they sell it... I get screwed... SEEMS VERY WRONG to me to sell over something clearly over and inch and call it 3/4. Nothing was ever 3/4 inch minus or expected to be 1 - 1 1/2--- So look at their piles before buying for size and not just color. Cause I am here to tell you they wont take responsibility calling something 3/4 when its double the size. Plus I cant even be sure what pile they gave me. The pile I looked at today wasn't as large as what I got delivered. SO no worries, wont be doing any further purchases with Yuma Nursery to finish my new house, I can easily find other places where they don't grin at you when they know you signed a paper that you didn't look at the pile when ordering... live and you learn right.... hope Karma doesn't hit them back too hard...or maybe I do. read more
