We ordered Mother Day Flowers for my boyfriends mother. The main company is Avas Flowers. They contract this company to fill there orders for them in Yuma AZ. We ordered from this company last year and she received a an order that did not match. Figured maybe it was just a fluke. Wrong!!! Gave them a second chance this year and it was even worse this time. I informed Avas they said they put in a request to have them remade the way they were supposed to be made and redeliver. Fortuna Floral refused and said that the flowers were made the way they were supposed to be. Anyone can look at the pictures and clearly see they were NOT! I will never do business with this company again! They do not apparently care about there customers or the product that they put out as a company. They should be ashamed of themselves! read more

I cannot recommend Fortuna Florist enough! They created the most breathtaking setup for my son's rehearsal dinner. From the very beginning, they took the time to make a mock-up arrangement to ensure it matched my vision--and it ended up being even more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. Their inventory is absolutely stunning, with elegant candelabras, gorgeous vases, and the most incredible crystal lamp we hung from a tree that illuminated the entire evening in such a magical way. It truly set the tone. What really sets them apart is how far they go beyond florals. They didn't just provide flowers--they thoughtfully arranged everything: pastries, frames, goodie bags, cookies, votives... every detail was handled with care and perfection. They even added hanging roses from the trees and along the fence, which made the entire space feel like a dream. We are still receiving compliments, and the flowers themselves were such high quality that they lasted nearly a month after the wedding. They are true artists with an incredible eye for detail. My daughter had flowers to be delivered to my Wife for Mother's Day. We were expecting the delivery. It never happened. I received a call from a nice lady 2 streets over. She explained that they had found a floral vase left outside their house. She was nice and brought the somewhat wilted arrangement to our house. Upon seeing the flowers and realizing they were probably expensive my wife called the Fortuna florist and they said they would send out a fresh arrangement. It never arrived. Very poor service and this is not the first time they have screwed up a delivery to us. read more

Super nice! I don't know why other people on different sites say such bad things about this florist. They were very nice and even went out of their way to get the items for a junk food basket I sent to my brother. I called at the last minute on his birthday and they said they couldn't deliver it until tomorrow since all their deliveries had already gone out for the day. I expected that and said it would be fine if it were delivered tomorrow. So I ordered the basket and figured I was done. Low and behold an hour later my brother called me and thanked me for the awesome basket! I was pleasantly shocked to say the least. Turns out the owner herself went out and got all the items, they made the basket and she drove it over herself. Now THAT is what I call service!!! I encourage everyone to give Fortuna your business. Received a bouquet of spring flowers from my children for my birthday yesterday. They live out of state so I know they were ordered online and paid much more than what the bouquet is worth!! Never the less....The glass vase was dirty and the flower's did not look fresh. The delivery women did not smile and looked very grumpy!! I have had flowers delivered to me many times and I must say I'm sorry I got this one...today the flowers look old and doubt they will last until tomorrow :( I have told my children to never use this florist again!! read more

My mother died on Tuesday. (June 2013) Received a call on Saturday that they had a delivery for me. Was left by front door. Flower were fine. Received a call later that day that the arrangement was to come with a bear and she would deliver tomorrow (Sunday). Today is Thursday and I finally received bear (after sender called to complain). Problem- the bear is a CHRISTMAS bear and says 2007 on its foot!! REALLY??? 2007??? I am speechless. After numerous calls by myself and sender, STILL No reply regarding the 2007 bear. Horrible customer service and I am still waiting for them to "make it right"!! read more

I received my bouquet of flowers on Monday and received an apology from the lady as they were delivered late. Under the circumstances and as I had not been expecting flowers I was not upset. Life is way too short to be upset about the small things in life. The lady apologized and I gave her a hug, she really needed it. Give someone a little leeway when they need it. This florist is amazing and so professional. I am not from the area but needed to send a sympathy/flower arrangement so I found the business on the internet so I wasnt sure what the flowers would look like. I placed the order with Lisa-the owner and she was so kind & caring with so many helpful creative suggestions that it made it very easy to order. For any flowers I need in the future from the area, I will defiantly use them again. Lisa even sent me a picture of the final product and it was beyond beautiful. She does wonderful work!! I ordered flowers for delivery for my mother's birthday yesterday. The order was confirmed but this morning I received a phone call saying that the pricing on the website was not up to date and that Fortuna Florists would not be honoring the confirmed price. In addition, the vase shown was unavailable and a clear plain glass vase would be substituted. So, decreased value for more money...poor business practice! I cancelled the order and placed it with another florist in the area who handled the transaction with integrity. I will not use this business again. read more

This is the worst florist ever! I would give zero stars, but apparently you have to give one star in order to leave a review. I live out of state and went through fromyouflowers.com to send flowers to my friend after her mother passed away in June 2013. I sent my friend what I thought was a very nice bouquet with a bear. The florist repeatedly called my friend (4-5 times in about an hour) and when my friend returned her call, she asked my friend to come home "right away" to receive a delivery. My friend said she could be home in 10 minutes. Apparently that was not soon enough, so my friend gave permission to leave the flowers on her porch. The florist called later that day to say there was supposed to be a bear delivered with the flowers, but the florist had accidentally left it at the shop. She told my friend she would deliver it the next day, Sunday. When I spoke to my friend Thursday, she still had not received her bear, so I called to complain. Her bear was then delivered, but it was a Christmas 2007 bear--yes, that's right--delivered in June 2013 with the 2007 embroidered on the foot. The florist did not return my friend's call, nor make any attempts to try to resolve this situation, though I am not sure what she could have done after being so utterly ridiculous. I will never use this company or any on-line company that contracts with this florist. Worst experience ever! read more
