This is a nice addition to Yuma; with major stores like Party City an hour away in El Centro it has enough party supplies here to handle any event, for both young and old participants alike. And they have an abundance of Ethnic candy / party favors to choose from as well as a favorable spot right off 16th that's easily to get to. Consider shopping locally here first! read more

I placed an order for a balloon set over the phone. When I arrived to pick it up, it wasn't what I had in mind. After explaining what I thought I was getting, they offered to fix MY mistake. I declined but I was told it wouldn't take long and it would be what I asked for. The gentleman, I believe he was the owner, took what was already loaded up in my car and approximately 5 minutes later, I got exactly what I had envisioned. I am thankful for his kindness, he didn't need to offer to fix my mistake let alone fix it. read more

If I could give "minus stars" I would. My grandson's graduation was coming up and we needed a huge balloon bouquet and possibly a rental of some tables and chairs. First stop was Jay's. There was one customer being helped by someone who turned out to be Jay. There were 2 people blowing up balloons behind a counter with a baby sitting in a stroller. My daughter and I wandered around near the counter pointing out styles to each other and wondering aloud about balloon and rental options, waiting for someone to offer some help, or at the very least, to greet us! Apparently too much to ask. Finally I said excuse me, and asked some questions. No smiles from either of them but the male clerk answered our questions. Nothing more than answers.. apparently no interest at all in what we were celebrating so that he could offer suggestions and probably create more sales for the store. The female clerk just looked at us without any friendliness at all. Not even a flicker of a smile. As soon as our questions were answered, he turned back to her and the baby. My daughter and I thought perhaps they actually weren't employed there, but simply helping in a pinch. A few minutes later the other customer walks out so we approach the guy who had helped that customer since he obviously "worked" there... I asked if someone could take our order. He said "yes, any of the 3 of us can, but I'll help you." So I went ahead and placed an order of just under $100 and paid cash. I left feeling bad, kicking myself for doing business with a store that showed how much they didn't value us as customers. I went back within the hour and asked for a refund. After the first guy told me no to a refund, Jay told him to go ahead and do it. FINALLY a positive customer service move! I'll never, ever go back to them for anything, nor recommend them. If you need party supplies and balloons, go to Jeanie's where they actually appreciate their customers. read more
