Great little place. Friendly people, so nice and pleasant. I had the Mongolian beef. It was the best I've ever had.

Great food. Will definitely eat here again. The fried rice was seasoned well and the broccoli was really fresh.

Personally I think it was the best by miles, the cream chees won tons that she brought to our table were mind bendingly good. My lo mein noodles weren't just fantastic they made a great lunch the next day so very generous portions. The service felt truly nostalgic as if I was eating at some dear friends Chinese grandmothers house. Never met the chef but it's her husband and he was back there cooking up a storm. I imagine if it's busy this place could be a little slow as it's only a 2 legend operation, but they still managed to bring us a tasty treat complimentary I guess because they liked us. Really loved this spot, the ambiance did feel like being in some really sweet peoples home, which I appreciated. There are big tables for big parties.

It was the only one that we didn't like), Mongolian beef (pretty good), and Singapore noodles (delicious too). They are served in takeout containers so it was convenient if you have leftovers. We were given paper plates to share our food among ourselves. We got a chance to talk to the owner. It's just she and her husband running the restaurant so they need all the support that we can give them. Her husband is Cantonese who moved from L.A. so it's best to order Cantonese dishes.

It was incredibly busy so we were hoping for some good Chinese food. The ambiance is an old Chinese restaurant that used to have a buffet, but it was clean. What we ordered: - kung pao chicken: I thought the flavors were good, the right amount of heat and I absolutely love Chinese broccoli so this was good for me! It has peanuts and your typical celery so this didn't disappoint. - spicy chicken garlic: nice spice, but it was drenched in sauce. There were more vegetables than meat, so paying $12-16 for something with minimum meat seems a bit of a rip off. - spicy shrimp garlic: it was the same but with shrimp. I asked for extra shrimp and they charged $3, which is fine but I would think it would be heaping with shrimp, but it was the same as the chicken. - orange chicken: perfectly fried and the sauce was not overpowering of orange. My daughter enjoyed it, it was spicy but had a nice heat to it. - chicken lo mein: my daughter loved it. It was good and the noodles were mushy. - cheese Rangoon: a bit disappointing as I wanted some flavor other than cream cheese. It had a sweetness to it but a little green onions:chives would have made it better. - pork fried rice: didn't have a lot of soy flavor. It was mild and lack luster. While I wouldn't say don't eat here, it was one of the better eats of Taos in our opinion. If you're looking for Chinese food around the area, I'd try them out if you can't find anything else to eat.

The standard favorites will taste different everywhere you go. We ordered Peking Duck 1/2 and Hunan Lamb mid afternoon and warmed it up a few hours later in the oven. It was very good. The duck tasted great though a little on the small side for 1/2 a duck. The Hunan Lamb was mildly spicy and moist, not in a thick sauce, just light sautees to give it moisture, yes there were a few peppers and onion and that baby corn that so divides opinions. Just say no if you dont want it. We got a great dinner for $41.00. The service was very polite - my husband was Mr Paul, and a thank you for waiting. You can choose to eat in the restaurant but it is self service from your styrofoam containers and you clean up. These boys know about Lamb and we were very happy.

Theirs two asian women greeting, waiting, cooking, serving, cleaning, cashiering. Love their hustle! We started with complimentary hot tea, served on the table in a kettle. Complimentary soup as well, my husband got the house soup and I had to eat most of it, its brown with this awesome broth and noodle. I got the egg drop soup and I am not sure how the got a great chicken broth to shine but it was so flavorful. I ordered salt & pepper shrimp with fried rice and my husband got the orange chicken with steam rice that also came with an eggroll. They didnt ask for our drink order but did bring glasses of ice and a water pitcher. My shrimp was very good, first time I have eaten shrimp shell but it was fried so crispy that it didnt bother me. The portions are large. They serve everything in containers so its easy to pack up & go. The experience was very quick too, which we enjoyed!!! I will definately return!!! If your still reading and wondering maybe we should try it. This is your sign to TRY IT!

There's no variety offering and even if you want an egg roll you have to buy 4. The restrictions are disappointing. The dining area is kind of crappy. You sit at these wooden desks and chairs like at school. There's little to nothing on the walls and the only sound you here is banter from the kitchen. Here's a tip Yuan, add some music for the background maybe some Asian inspired instrumental music would help with the lack of decor. The service is okay, it's a small family business, Dad and Daughter. They were very nice. The kitchen guys running food to tables is a bit weird. I got pan fried pork and cabbage dumplings and they were okay, I wanted to try the bao and egg roll but since you can only get a family sized portion being 1 diner here doesn't allow you to try a variety without having tons of leftovers. The Bibimbap was also okay yet the portion looks small it's enough to fill the belly. My observation is this place is good if you go with a group so you can split the dumplings and other items and have a fun Asian experience. I suggest to owner spruce up the dining room perhaps offer a variety plate of appetizers and maybe add a coupe more entrees. Edible but uninspiring.

I did not know that they have a buffet and had we dined in I would have loved to try it! I believe this place has changed ownership since I had last been here as hispanics owned it prior and it looked different from what I remember. One of the owners whom took my order seemed to not understand much english (which is total fine) and ended up punching in cashew chicken instead of kung pao chicken; however, my order was still correct. We were offered a table while we waited (we were standing) which was very nice as they were very busy and had a full house. Now to the good part...the food! I ordered crab rangoons and kung pao chicken with steamed rice, the broccoli beef for my mom, and bff ordered the pork fried rice and the wonton soup. Everything was decent, but not outstanding and could use more flavor. The kung pao chicken was not spicy at all. I had a piece of mom's broccoli and it that was very tasty. Prices were very reasonable as for all three entrees as well as the app and soup came to 45 bucks. I would definitely like to try their buffet if I return next visit.
