The three educators that were part of my children's lives will be remembered for a life time. The promotion ceromonies were amazing and fitting for the accomplishments. I was able to watch my TK daughter recite the alphabet backwards. That is truely amazing Mrs. Gutierrez. Thank you for being part of Athenas life. Dr. Manami, Thank you for your proactiveness to the issues that came up this school year. You're a great example of the leader you are and the institution should feel lucky to have you. The Think Together Staff and Miss Ashley You all care so deeply about our children and their growth. Thank you for all the great memories our children will share for a lifetime. They did a test and claims my son is not autistic so they are not going to treat him as such since according to their test results he is NOT autistic. I know this does not do with the school but to the district of Temecula if your kid is not physically showing a disability they are not allowed to ride the bus. Also they just let kids get bullied and they don't do anything about it. In the morning If it's raining outside they are not allowed to go inside they have to stand in the rain till the bell rings and they open the gates then they are allowed to go in. I can go on and on of all the crap this school has put my kids through but I do not have enough characters to do so. Please avoid this school as much as possible. If i could give it 0 stars I would.

Out of the four 2nd grade teachers we became familiar with, she was by far the best. Academically - speaking she is rigorous and does not pass out As easily - one a sign of a good teacher. When my son started to struggle, she contacted us regularly in order to help us help him - maybe a more important sign of a good teacher. He eventually got his grades back up. A final sign of an exceptional teacher is a love for teaching and truly caring about students - which she clearly does. What a great combination - high expectations for academic achievement, good feedback on assignments and exams, and empathy for students. NVES is very lucky to have her!

I am writing this review on behalf of my Grandsons and my family…read more My daughter attended this school back in 1996- 1999. She is now raising her own kids, and I have the pleasure in assisting her. From the day my first Grandson, was in Transitional Kindergarten, to present, has been a positive experience. He is now 3rd grade. He has had the fortune to have had Mrs. Faye, Mrs. Hansen, Mrs. Rain, (sp) Mrs Esquival, and now Mrs. Skeens. I have only positive things to say about this Murrieta school. My second Grandson, has Mrs. Airebear. Every body loves Mrs. Airebear!!! Especially my Grandson! I would especially like to Thank Leslie and Jaqui in the office for every single time we walk through their doors. They are helpful and very professional in all they do for our kids. Whether I call them on the phone, or present myself in person, great staff in the office holding this school together! Last but not least, I haven't met him in person, but, I have watched this man from the drive up lanes, from the parking lot, walking through the halls, at award ceremonies, flag days, jogathons, picking up and dropping off day to day, and he just stuns the life out of me. He is genuine and sincere about keeping our kids safe. He is Alta's Principal. Mr. Cooley, I hope I spelled your name correctly. You rock! My Grandsons and my family, say Thank You, for keeping them safe. Greatest school in Murrieta! You will not be disappointed. I am shocked that more parents have not reviewed this school. After all, our children spend over half their lives here. 20 million stars for ALTA Murrieta Elementary!

Ms. Caldwell and Mr. Coley have always gone above and beyond, with all the students they see on a daily basis they somehow manage to personally greet my kiddo and the fact that they are so invested in the kids here really shows. This school is safe, fun, and staffed with amazing teachers. We are so grateful for all the staff here who make this school the great place that it is.

I love how active their PTA is and the activities they sponsor. My only complaint is pick up and drop off car line is horrible.

My son had an issue with repeating himself at times (ADHD and being currently evaluated to see if he is on the spectrum) and instead of engaging with him in a different way " you've already said that so is there any new information you would like to add?" He was cut off mid sentence more than once and chastised that he's already said that and to stop repeating himself. I was in person and saw this happen in front of me. I have been giving this school chance after chance, from kindergarten to 3rd grade we have been here and I feel I've wasted so much time and energy for myself and my son. She was not professional and the kids had a very difficult time learning in her classroom. She mainly put the children on computer programs and I know there were complaints so towards the end she did some teaching time in her classroom. The teacher would play favorites, telling the children "just because these kids are smarter than you, it doesn't make them better than you". This teacher would give her favorite student authority to choose who they thought was being "bad" or "good" and place them in categories to either receive a treat or if deemed "bad" by this student placed on the list to be reprimanded and have to do push ups in front of the class. The students who were chosen as "bad" were actually some of the nicer and well behaved students. The teacher repeated many times in front of the class that the chosen student had the power to make these decisions about the others. There was a game another teacher lead at recess for PE where the students all stood in a circle and were instructed to say if they liked the students next to them or not. If they didn't those students had to move. It got pretty detailed and started focusing on clothing and facial features such as "I do not like anyone with blue eyes". All of this was shocking to me and in retrospect I can now see why my child was so uncomfortable last year. In 2018 there was a turn over in principals. The new principal isn't experienced in dealing with difficult matters. I did go to the head of the school and had communicated what I thought wasn't working and she was very helpful. I was able to give it at least 2 stars are for the quality of children/families in this school. If it weren't for the great kids the rating would have been lower.
