Our daughter has been going there for almost two years now. She is apart of the cheer team for the panthers. This school has integrated canvas and is setting everyone's child up for a successful transition from middle school to high school and college. Yes sometimes it may be difficult to call in at 8am when the school opens up. Try calling at 3pm. Never had a problem. The staff is amazing and the road guards do a fantastic job of protecting our children crossing a busy connecting road from los almos to cal oaks. Over all FIVE STARS

She is now raising her own kids, and I have the pleasure in assisting her. From the day my first Grandson, was in Transitional Kindergarten, to present, has been a positive experience. He is now 3rd grade. He has had the fortune to have had Mrs. Faye, Mrs. Hansen, Mrs. Rain, (sp) Mrs Esquival, and now Mrs. Skeens. I have only positive things to say about this Murrieta school. My second Grandson, has Mrs. Airebear. Every body loves Mrs. Airebear!!! Especially my Grandson! I would especially like to Thank Leslie and Jaqui in the office for every single time we walk through their doors. They are helpful and very professional in all they do for our kids. Whether I call them on the phone, or present myself in person, great staff in the office holding this school together! Last but not least, I haven't met him in person, but, I have watched this man from the drive up lanes, from the parking lot, walking through the halls, at award ceremonies, flag days, jogathons, picking up and dropping off day to day, and he just stuns the life out of me. He is genuine and sincere about keeping our kids safe. He is Alta's Principal. Mr. Cooley, I hope I spelled your name correctly. You rock! Ms. Caldwell and Mr. Coley have always gone above and beyond, with all the students they see on a daily basis they somehow manage to personally greet my kiddo and the fact that they are so invested in the kids here really shows. I have continuously reported staff for abuse against my child. The principal Mrs. Walker will not allow me to speak with the staff members who have physically harmed my child as I would definitely cause them harm. New story, my son was assaulted at the school on their last day before winter break, it was reported, and somehow got around to me. I called the school and requested information as I was at work and my husband out of town. I received a call back from the assistant principal, who said that my son and I were lying. When I asked why he had a long scratch on his face, the assistant principal said she had didn't know what I was talking about and asked how I knew this information. I told her my son had a big red cut along the side of his face and was bleeding, which is why he was sent to the nurses office. She said she didn't see anything, then said it could've happened elsewhere. All in all, I got no answers. I will continue to push this forward and hopefully the district finally listens. They have a wonderful Principal, VP, and Counselor who really try to bring the kids together with wonderful after school programs, band, and 4th&5th grade student leadership. My daughter is not on an IEP, so I can't speak to that, but they do have a great system in place if your child falls behind in grade level. Special education Ms.cindys class…read more My son has (Moderate) autism and non verbal (he only knows a few words). He would come home with scratches/scrapes and I was never told how he got them. I would email ms.cindy and the respond was always that she'll ask who ever my son was with that day or she'll say that they don't remember seeing my son fall or anything. She would send my son home with a sweater that wasn't his sometimes, his water bottle went "missing" at school somehow, and when it came to IEP meetings she would schedule, but would forget to cancel or would try and act like I forgot we had an IEP meeting whenever she did. During the meetings she seemed unprepared. I now know never to sign an IEP until it's all in paper because teachers say one thing, but write another thing in the IEP. At the end of the school year she kept suggesting for my son to attend another school. Did I forget to mention she called cps claiming my son had belt marks, hand marks, and bruises on him? He didn't.

They chose not to be by calling and canceling their mid-review. None of the children have accreditations. If anyone would like more information please let me know. Furthermore, Sherry Marino was instructed by Mical Bell Andrews to not allow my son, that has known health issues, to go to the health room or call home when he was ill. This was brought to my attention by employees and I have declarations from several faculty. My son suffers from chronic stomach issues and was witnessed sitting through his lunch AND recess with his head on the table in pain after being refused to go to the health room. This school is horrible and nobody seems to want to talk about. I will not be quiet about the continued abuse these poor children are experiencing. When I addressed these issues I was met by a noncaring board member named Jennifer Bursch that could care less about the abuse my son had been through. Her emails were cruel and denying without any concern whatsoever for the truth or facts. I am beside myself at the non Christlike actions of this school and their board of directors. This school has done nothing but deteriorate since Mical Bell was allowed to reside as principal.
