My child experienced relentless bullying while attending this school, and it had a devastating impact on her mental health. When she reached out to the principal and counselors for help, she was dismissed instead of supported. No child should ever be felt this way under any circumstance but maybe that's just what I think for all I know. The academics were just as disappointing. Instead of providing engaging instruction, many classes consisted of students watching YouTube videos that still left all the kids confused. My child left this school feeling unprepared academically and emotionally. The trauma my daughter experienced here is something our family is still dealing with. She is now in middle school, and she has repeatedly said she would never want anyone else to go through what she experienced at this school. Based on our experience, I strongly urge parents to look elsewhere. No school is perfect, but this was indeed the worst experience our family has ever had. Please do your research before enrolling your child I would not recommend this school to anyone.

My son has no music class, no field trips, no art class and a PE class that's barely that. For PE the have free time 9 times out of ten. Never once has my kid learned something like a sport or anything athletic. For Art the teacher puts on YouTube! When she has nothing else to do for her second graders she puts on Elmo and Disney. The special needs children have pushed her to the floor. No aids in the classrooms of this size! All this school cares about is there standardized testing! Not how the kids do or what goes on in these classrooms. They are not learning. They are put in front of computers ( but not to be taught computers or coding or anything useful) and told to sit still. And to top it off....Twenty pumps on the swings and you must get off.

Bullying is a serious issue here and doesn't seem to be taken as seriously as it should be. My child has witnessed--and unfortunately been affected by--multiple incidents of physical fights on campus, some of which were barely addressed by staff. It's alarming how common these altercations are, and how little follow-up there seems to be. We expected a safe and supportive environment for learning, but instead found ourselves constantly worried about our child's well-being. When we brought up concerns to administration, the response felt dismissive and reactive rather than proactive. This school desperately needs stronger leadership when it comes to campus safety, clear policies around bullying, and more supervision during breaks and passing periods. Students should feel protected and valued, not scared to go to school. If I could give 0 stars I absolutely would.

I know this does not do with the school but to the district of Temecula if your kid is not physically showing a disability they are not allowed to ride the bus. Also they just let kids get bullied and they don't do anything about it. In the morning If it's raining outside they are not allowed to go inside they have to stand in the rain till the bell rings and they open the gates then they are allowed to go in. I can go on and on of all the crap this school has put my kids through but I do not have enough characters to do so. Please avoid this school as much as possible. If i could give it 0 stars I would.

Out of the four 2nd grade teachers we became familiar with, she was by far the best. Academically - speaking she is rigorous and does not pass out As easily - one a sign of a good teacher. A final sign of an exceptional teacher is a love for teaching and truly caring about students - which she clearly does. What a great combination - high expectations for academic achievement, good feedback on assignments and exams, and empathy for students. NVES is very lucky to have her!

The first one was when I was in kindergarten, literally everyone was going behind the building, so I followed as a 5 year old child. The aide at the time yelled at only certain people and told us to put our clips down to red. In kindergarten, this is a big deal. Another incident I can recall was in 3rd grade at the library. I didn't know books at the time had built in bookmarks and I politely asked for the librarian to cut it off because I thought someone placed it there. She says to me rudely, "No!" and gave me a nasty look as she walked away. My brother also got bullied here for a while and they barely did anything. Other than those incidents and some more minor ones, school here was pretty fun and nice. Though, I heard one of the teachers here was a pedophile.

They violate HIPAA laws and the privacy of these students. Don't even get me started on the Joke they call a principal. They lie and discriminate against those students protected by the ADA act. They're quick to call CPS on parents of the disabled because they aren't equipped with the right training to teach behavioral skills to those who need it. Non Verbal children cannot communicate their needs through oral communication. Negligence runs high in their walls. they've even "misplaced" and lost children who are elopers. All year last year I actually thought the VP was the Principal because he is the only person I saw all the time doing the duties of the Principal, having contact with the kids and parents. Don't even get me started on the lady in the front office. I just don't understand why people are so unhappy working when there are so many people unemployed looking for work. Many people would love to have her job and would enjoy coming to work everyday, why can't they find someone like this. All the other schools I've been too, the people working there are very happy and helpful, they are excited to have a job and get out early and have every Holiday and Fur-low day off. A major grip I have is that it seems that there is a lot of favoritism going on with the kids and their performing arts. For example when they do shows on/off campus, they have some kids singing a set of songs or one song by themselves when NO other kids where given an equal opportunity to audition for that spot. The teachers that are running the performances are putting their kids, or kids they know or like in the show with out giving every child at that school the opportunity to try out for it, it is not fair to the other kids; every one should have a chance to try out for these opportunities as well, and the best kid should get the chance? After all, I thought this was a performing arts type school, all these kids should have equal opportunities, regardless of who their parents are or who they know at the school.
