When HomeTeam stopped servicing our area, he started Premier Pest Services West and asked me to continue as his customer. In the beginning, the service was good. My regular service included spraying the perimeter, entry points, garage, walkways, and bushes, removing cobwebs, removing reachable wasp nests, and treating the in-wall Taexx system. Because of that, I trusted him and recommended him to other homeowners in our community. Over time, I started hearing concerns from other homeowners that the service quality had gone down. I did not want to assume anything, so I checked my own camera footage. What I saw was disappointing. On multiple visits, the technician appeared to be on the property for only about 3 minutes. The service did not appear to include the same work we were paying for, including cobweb removal and a full perimeter treatment. In the footage and photos I reviewed, the Taexx cover did not appear to be opened. Instead, it appeared the technician sprayed around and over the closed cover. Several homeowners also complained after reviewing their own camera footage. After those complaints, Premier Pest Services West returned to re-service some of the homes, which added to my concern that the original visits were not being completed as expected. Treating the Taexx system was part of the service we expected, so I later contacted HomeTeam Pest Defense to ask about the system. I was told that former employees were required to return their Taexx keys, and that properly treating the system requires opening the cover with a proprietary key and using the proper equipment to treat the individual lines inside the wall system. Spraying the closed cover is not the same as treating the system. I gave Premier Pest Services West the benefit of the doubt at first, but the same issue happened again. After that, I and other homeowners tried calling and texting several times, but we did not receive a response. Based on my experience, my camera footage, the photos and footage I reviewed from other homeowners, my follow-up with HomeTeam, the repeated visits that appeared incomplete, and the lack of response, I lost confidence in the service and canceled. He blamed me for various things like questioning why he wanted our crawl space 100% open during his trapping. He lied and said he removed and reset traps when he did not. I was home on the days he said he was there, my dog barks, and I checked the trap several times a day. This guy simply was lying about resetting the trap. He abandoned our house completely for 13 days. After a skunk sprayed under our house a second time while Daddys Pest Control was supposedly helping me with the problem, the smell was so bad we couldn't be in half our house for 3 days. I fired him. I hired a much better trapper who in less than 24 hours trapped and removed the skunk for half the price. Basically I paid this man $500 to do nothing, and a different guy $250 to trap and remove a skunk. 2 stars for his responsiveness to the first call and coming out to get the first $500 check and set a trap two or three times with cat food that caught a possum that was not the problem. Zero stars on actually doing what we needed him to do. A competent trapper getting the job done quickly with 24 hours of firing Daddy's Pest Control is all you need to know. He might be great for ants or bugs, but look elsewhere for bigger pests like skunks or rats. I am not trying to kill anyone's livelihood here, but this man is definitely not your guy for skunks or rats.
