I purchased my gown from Yris and would give her ten stars if I could! I was that bride who went to a million different dress stores and couldn't make up her mind. With Yris, it was easy. For starters, she made any appointment time I requested happen, and I was the only customer in there at that time. The salon itself is clean and has it's own parking lot. The sales process was seamless, she had many gowns and styles to choose from and while she did not have the original gown I went in for she had a similar style that I ended up loving even more. She is NOT a pushy sales person either! This is a rarity in the bridal world and it is so great to work with someone who simply wants you to look your best and be happy whether that's in one of her gowns or not. I purchased a stunning Pronovias gown, and she also ordered a Pronovias veil for me just in case I decided I wanted one, but without an obligation to buy it (of course, it was gorgeous and I did buy it!). I think I went for no less than five fittings before my wedding, because while initially my dress was a little snug, as the wedding stress piled on I kept losing more weight. She does all the alterations herself and was incredibly patient, attentive to the details, and added buttons to the back for me. Alterations are additional to the price of the gown, but you are not charged for each alteration appointment. In my opinion this is better than having them included in the gown price, as you WILL need to have it altered and if they were included I would be worried they would take shortcuts. My gown fit like a glove and I felt like a million dollars wearing it. I always felt like I was the only bride she was working with, and let's face it, all brides want undivided attention ;-) It was an hour's drive for me, and in the opposite direction of my Boston wedding, but so worth it. If you are a bride do yourself a favor and go see Yris!!!!!!
