I didn't find my dress here but my experience was one of the best I had bridal gown shopping. All of the gowns here are under $500 and their selection is quite extensive. My group and I spent a good amount of time perusing the rows upon rows of styles in my size range. The two young ladies working that day collected everything we pulled and let us take as much time as we desired picking things out. I really wish I knew their names but the two employees working that day were wonderful. It was like I had two extra girls in my entourage. They were helpful and honest and I really appreciated that. It is irritating to a point to have a consultant simply tell you how gorgeous you look in every dress. These ladies on the other hand were able to read my enthusiasm (or lack thereof) for the gowns I tried on and were able to point out things that worked for my body and those that did not. These girls were genuine and real and their authenticity was well-received with my group. I do wish that I had found my dress here because I would have LOVED to pay under $500 but alas, it was not meant to be. I absolutely recommend checking this place out. You might get lucky and fall in love with something! The dresses were in good condition, some minor defaults here and there that could be corrected during fittings and alterations. The building itself could use a little sprucing up but the dressing and viewing area were comfortable and neat. If you are stopping through Fall River, put this place on your list! We make our way downstairs with the help of an associate here names Allison. They have a decent amount of dresses all sizes and styles , but since it's a discount store you can find stains and missing beads and stuff but a lot of the dresses are super cute it's just being able to find your style and size. They have 3 racks with more new style fashion , and the other 3 racks were for a bit older fashion. OH and they also have 2 smaller racks of short prim dresses , I'm sorry we were looking at longer prim dresses. The prices are super cheap, I saw dresses from 49.00-200.00. All the dresses my sister looked at were under 100.00, she didn't get anything here because she's still looking around but the one she did like was too small unfortunately. Allison was amazing she helped us as much as possible even with others being in the store as well. This place is super clean , and there's enough space to move around , the racks are packed and the dresses weigh a lot so your arm will hurt HAH! We made our way upstairs my mother insisted I start looking at wedding dresses , I am engaged but this woman is pushing for us to set a date can't you tell HAH, so go make my mother happy I looked at alllllllll the racks in my sizes , so many beautiful dresses , I was in AWE , once again Allison helped me set me and helped me with all my dresses, the one I liked had a terrible rip in the back but she said she would discount it like I said in the beginning it's a discount store so you will find flaws, but it's so worth the trip to check it out. Alexandras boutique owns this place as well and they're down the street. Any-who this place has a 5 lot parking spot it's super tight but it beats having to pay the meters. It's a small house /boutique which is so cute. My only complaint was the parking situation we have a mid-size truck so just a small area to maneuver in the parking lot. This place is great though. Also this place is right off a busy road so it's one car in and one car out at a time , which you block the whole road.

Kylie was our assistant and from the first phone call to the last hug before we left, she made this day so special and memorable. She struck the perfect balance between listening and advising, and we knew we were in great hands. I just can't say enough wonderful things about her. Being plus-sized means that dress shopping and sometimes boutique situations can be difficult - will they have enough in the right size to try on? Will I feel humiliated? Will they understand my needs? Alexandra's was perfect in that regard too - there were so many options in a huge range of sizes, and my daughter felt respected and beautiful every single moment of our experience. My bride had been scouring online for different styles and designers and fell in love with the Pronovias line. Seeing that Estee Bridal carried them, she immediately booked an appointment. Upon arriving she and her bridesmaids received a warm welcome, she shut the store down just for them, and her bridesmaids were given water bottles and homemade macaroons while my bride tried on different wedding dresses. I had been looking online at dress styles I was interested in and had emailed the company to see if they had one in stock. Kim, the owner, emailed me back letting me know they didn't carry that designer but they had very similar dresses in the shop. Using their online scheduling system, I scheduled my first bridal appointment. The boutique has ample parking and was pretty easy to find. Upon entering, I was greeted by Jenn who helped get an understanding of what dress style I was interested in. I was told to pick a handful of dresses and styles that I wanted to try on and she grabbed each one and placed them in a dressing room for me. I had the entire boutique to myself and had such an amazing one on one experience! She helped me get into each dress and we narrowed it down to two dresses. A big reason why I decided to come here was because i read reviews for other boutiques that try to pressure the customer into buying something and Sparks Bridal was different. I never once felt pressured to buy anything. They understood that I was just looking to see what my options were and to get a feel for what my style was. We also brought my daughter's ball gown wedding dress to Fatima for alterations, and thank goodness we did. i came here to get my wedding dress altered and as soon as i arrived i already had a bad feeling…read moreabout it. the woman that helped me was super rude and judgmental and made my experience awful. she literally asked me "you didn't want anything prettier?" when i put my dress on which i felt was so rude and unnecessary. i didn't ask for commentary. the entire appointment she kept making judgmental and snarky comments about my dress and even insisted on showing me "real bridal dresses" from her shop after i told her that i had already brought my dress and clearly expressed being uncomfortable. i would never recommend this place to anyone. go somewhere else.
