Very good selection, as found on website, return was just as easily scheduled and even a credit was kept for the remaining voucher amount. Parking is a pain, but is to be expected in the North End. Back in maybe February or march, we ordered our dresses, we were told end of June arrival. She took our measurements at that time as well. Kept calling, she DOES NOT pick up the phone. I had to go up there, and then kept getting mixed answers as to why the dresses were not in. Fast forward, dresses came in a week before the wedding, you have to pay CASH for the dress, if there is a balance, before they will do alterations, which are only done Monday and Tuesday, which was not told to us. My dress did not fit, even though she took my measurements, like didn't even zip up any. She charged me $150 extra to make it bigger although that was definitely her fault. Additionally, there were mixed prices regarding steaming some paid nothing, others paid $25, etc.

The owner comes across as a sweet grandmother-type personality, but once you purchase your dress and pay in full, she completely stops caring. I ordered my mother-of-the-bride dress in October and by April had still heard nothing. When I called to check on it, Ana first claimed I had already received the dress -- which was completely false. Then she told me not to worry because "the wedding isn't until September." Wrong again -- the wedding was August 1st. After reading other online reviews, I realized this seems to be a pattern. Calls went unanswered and messages were ignored, so I had to start contacting the store weekly just to get updates. I used different phone numbers, so my call would be answered, but only more lies. When my dress finally arrived at the end of May, Ana's daughter emailed me saying I was "not welcome" in the store and they would simply mail the dress to me. I had no recourse when I said please don't put it in the mail because it had already been done. My $700 Mon Cheri Montage dress arrived shoved into an Amazon box. After all the measuring Ana did, the dress came several sizes too big. It honestly felt like they expected me to spend even more money on expensive alterations at their shop. This entire experience was stressful, unprofessional, and disappointing. I strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere.

The pro that fitted me said they had to be pulled up and use suspenders, WHAT A CROCK. He let out the seams to try to fix but there wasn't enough material left to make them right. My seamstress is fixing the cuffs but the thighs can't be repaired. The deal here as I see it, great price for a nice suit but they clip you $70.00 for tailoring that's in inferior. Somebody at Savers is going to get a nice suit after the wedding.

What could have been a disaster was seamlessly remedied by these two gentlemen and all with the greatest attitude and smiles. When needed, the new pieces arrived within 48 hours, which made the whole process smooth and stress-free. I definitely recommend going to a local Black Tux showroom to get measured. Most of our guys got measured at Men's Wearhouse, and their sizing didn't quite match The Black Tux's system -- that was the only small hiccup we ran into. My now-husband, our dads, and all of the groomsmen looked so handsome -- the tuxes were sharp and fit great after adjustments. One of our favorite stories from the day: my brother-in-law (and best man) was having such a blast on the dance floor that he accidentally ripped his shirt, and The Black Tux didn't even charge him! They told us they were just glad he had fun -- truly above-and-beyond customer service. I'd highly recommend The Black Tux for any wedding or formal event. It was honestly a pleasure to shop for a rented tuxedo for my husband, the last thing we wanted to do, but we have a black tie event so there we were.
