They gave me valuable tips and even after the sale, Chris set up cones in the lot and basically taught me how to back up the trailer. In my particular case, the problem is a water heater that doesn't function properly... The problem was well known to them, but rather than actually fixing the faulty heater, they simply lied to me saying it was serviced and now functioning like it should... Lie!... Also, I requested they email me copies of the photos they used in the listing so I could share my new purchase with friends and family before delivery, which wouldn't happen for another week... They never did, but said they would... They already had my money, so why bother... And what was I going to do about the faulty water heater?... Was I supposed pay another $1000.00 to have the RV shipped back, and then fight for a refund?... It became a no-win situation for me, one I'll just have to live with! I made an honest mistake trusting them, but I'm not going to let liars and thieves destroy my faith in others!...

We found what we wanted at River City. our initial sales contact, Emily was wonderful; matched the price as we'd found another one exactly the same. Frank finalized the deal for us. We drove to Grants Pass to pick it up and spend a few days on the Rogue River. River City personnel did an excellent job prepping the rig. Every system was tested and confirmed as working. Stove, oven, solar, TVs, sewer connections, windows....everything. It was squeaky clean, even smelled brand new! They worked with us on the price. Handled all the paperwork including the temporary use permit, installed a part on the hitch, hooked us up and got us out the door in just a few short hours. I have a trusted RV technician who recommended Johnson for the repairs. I was put in touch with Ben from Johnson's collision department. I sent in pictures and the requested information to Ben. He got back to me the next day with an estimate. The estimate was reasonable considering the damage. The biggest delay was waiting for the parts to arrive from Jayco, but once they arrived, the repairs were completed within a week. The repairs were perfect. Ben was a superstar in his professionalism. His politeness/respect, and attention to detail were refreshing. I was kept abreast of the progress throughout. Ben completed the insurance interactions beyond my expectations. Give Ben a raise!

I had them replace my wheel bearings and on the way to our last camping trip it appears that either the wheel bearing failed or was not installed correctly. I have given them a change to work with me on it and I get no call back. I will not be taking my RV back to them and I do NOT recommend them to anyone. I am grateful to be alive and that that wheel that came off did not kill someone.

There were several problems noted and he was assured they would be taken care of through our warranty. The king sized mattress, supposed to be an upgrade, was missing. An employee ran down to a Big Lots and picked up a mattress. Obviously not the upgrade we paid for. We dealt with them for a year and never resolved most issues. They never called us, we called them. Always got the same story. They claimed parts were ordered. Finally I contacted manufacturer and they said parts were not ordered. So disappointed in the treatment we received from this dealership. Needless to say, two years out and we are upside down and still living with imperfection.

In September 2022 the slide on my 2020 Jayco Redhawk 24B would not go all the way in. This was the…read morethird time I had slide issues (don't get me started). I took my RV in for diagnosis and repair under the extended warranty. I experienced the same poor service mentioned by other reviewers. It would take 2-3 days to get someone to pick up the phone. Messages were not returned. I even tried speaking to the Sales team to get someone to call me back. Parts arrived in January so I took the rig in. I called after 2-3 days (repair was estimated to take one day) and was told that the wrong parts were ordered! But here's where service began to improve. They tried to find another source for the part, but was unsuccessful. I went to pick up the RV and they washed it for me. I was disappointed about the part, but they showed some effort at mitigating the issue. Once the correct part was ordered, I received weekly updates on the status. They answered the phone every time, or returned my call within 24 hours. They did an excellent job repairing the slide, and even fixed the tear in the floor without me asking them to do it. It was a complete turnaround from my experience in the fall/early winter. I'm not sure what management did, but there was clear improvement. The repair was completed in March. I may not have been as patient if the problem had occurred during camping season, but since the rig wasn't being used I wasn't inconvenienced. I was ready to take my business elsewhere, but for now I'm going to stick with Blue Dog. I'm giving them a 4 due to their improvement. If they hadn't improved, I'd give them a 1.

My boyfriend and I looked at an RV with two employees a couple of weeks ago. Both said they were…read morenot aware of anything being wrong with the RV. They couldn't figure out how to turn on the AC, so I wasn't sure if it was broke. Don Hogan was the primary person we worked with. Don said that if I buy it, I will need to put a down payment on it. At that time, the dealership would go through the RV and fix anything wrong with it. A couple days later I asked for the RV to be looked at because I was going to buy it. Don said I had to buy the RV then they would go through it. I questioned him because that was not what he originally said. He got defensive and hung up on me. I called him back to find out what happened. He said he thought the conversation was over. He never said goodbye just hung up. He said I could have my RV mechanic look at it, so I did. My mechanic found a lot of things wrong with the RV. I emailed Don asking if he would negotiate the price or fix the things wrong with it. It's been 12 days today with no response. I paid my mechanic to look at it because I was serious about buying it. I will never go to Caveman RV again or recommend them to anyone. 2015 Forest River Leprechaun 319D that is still there.

What mechanic doesn't have a tool to remove bolts. Several of the old bolts were under the van when I got there. They were all in perfect working condition. Funny how someone using the wrong tool to torque a cv bolt would only stripped a couple of bolts. Wouldn't it stop them all while they torque them? I think they just thought i was a sucker and tried to double the labor on me. Also told me to get my van the hell of the property. I would not use this business if you don't have to
