Unfortunately, the area where I moved does not yet have Vios but you can request it. Honestly gotta give it all up to Teddy in this review…read more Let's be honest, dealing with phone issues and going into a storefront is most likened to entering one of Dante's inner sphincters of Hell, second to probably only like the DMV or Penn Station before the holidays. After it's less-than-graceful swan dive out of my pocket onto the tile floor, my iPhone had only two functions on its screen: pitch black, and flashing green as if it just ate too much ecstasy at a 90s rave in Ibiza. I biked over and then there I was... a hot mess in the middle of august dreading yet another customer service interaction and the corporate bureaucratic BS that comes with it. Cut to Teddy: Nothing I love more than a person who takes me as I am and offers me solutions. I'm probably the worst apple product owner and have done zero work to sync my devices and respect the cloud. He listened unphased and then gave me two options, and also offered his honest opinion about what would save me money and provide more flexibility. Then, this absolute EARTH ANGEL of a human sat with me patiently for 2 hours as I pulled out my trusty iPad and rounded up the rest of the folks on my family plan to access my Verizon account info to move forward with an insurance claim. Verizon outsources their insurance, and so it's nothing on NYCOM or Verizon personally, but that was a nightmare (yeah @Asurion, we're lookin at you). I ended up coming back later in the afternoon, and Teddy rang them up and told them that their processing time for my claim was unacceptable as I need this line to run my business. We ended up moving forward with an upgrade instead, and being probably Jesus Christ reincarnate, Teddy rang up his homie to lend us a new iPhone screen so that I could proceed with backing up my phone and not have to lose any of my business documents or precious photos of my cat. He set me up with a new phone, case, and screen protector, as well as retrieved all of my information. I can't stress this enough: albeit long, Teddy made this the most positive and satisfying customer service interaction of MY LIFE. Working a job where people come to you frustrated about problems that they need quick solutions to is Gods work. Does Teddy have RBF in the mornings? Maybe so. But I would urge you to stick around and see how good Teddy treats his clients, looking out for their best interests even on their worst of days. Especially if it's after a Red Bull :)

A Disclaimer for anyone using T-Mobile insurance: If this is your assigned repair location, do…read moreyourself a favor and double check everything they try to sell you after your repair. Do not just take their word for it. I came here to get my screen fixed through T-Mobile insurance. The repair itself was fine, but the customer service afterward was an absolute joke. After the fix, they pushed me to buy a screen protector. I normally order mine from Amazon because in-store ones are usually cheap and poorly made. The only reason I agreed was because the employee assured me that if there were any issues at all, I could bring it back and they would replace it with no questions asked. The younger guy who installed it clearly did not care about doing a good job. He applied it lazily, and while it looked okay at first, within a week the protector started peeling from the bottom left corner. I went back fully expecting them to honor their own words and instead got told it would be 12 dollars to replace it. At no point during the original conversation was this replacement fee ever mentioned. The employee then pointed to some random sheet of paper nowhere near where we talked, trying to justify it. That is not how you do honest business. This is a classic bait and switch and it shows they have zero interest in standing by their word. I walked out without paying because I refuse to reward shady practices. If this is how they treat customers, I would not trust them with anything more than a basic repair. Bottom line: If you have a T-Mobile insurance claim, be extremely careful here. Record what they promise you, get it in writing, or better yet, take your business somewhere else
