We paid for our food sat down (soda machine empty) and was ready to eat and the mother of the owner came over and said that she needed to charge us another 3 dollars for our food, I told her that was ridiculous but went back up to pay the additional 3 dollars. When we went back up to get our ice cream we asked for the manager's email and were informed that they owed the place. Long story short he got upset with us and asked us to leave, so we got up to leave and he tried to keep me from leaving and said I needed to clear my table, I told him absolutely not! The owner then got in my face and threatened me and proceeded to call me quite a few names, which I thought was hilarious but nonetheless very unprofessional. We've been here a few times now. I still love the setup of getting to choose what you want on your pizza and getting a personalized size. Employees are always friendly and helpful! But I haven't liked my pizza as much the last couple times here. Both my husband and I used to get the white mac and cheese special pizza they had, but they got rid of it. It. was. AMAZING! To begin, when you enter Your Pie is very clean and the staff greet you very friendly. This place is somewhat set up like a Chipotle in that it is a pick your own toppings kind of place. Pros: The toppings are very fresh and delicious. Another plus for this place is that any pizza with as many toppings as you like is only $8.49. They have everything from Artichokes, all types of meats, olives, peppers, etc. They have a variety of sauces to cook onto the pizza including Pesto, Marinara, Pizza Sauce, Ranch, BBQ, etc. After your pizza has been cooked, they let you have as many dipping sauces as you like (Free) such as: Ranch, Greek Yogurt, Caesar Dressing, etc. And they make their dressing dips from scratch! (The Ranch and Caesar dressing dips are incredible!!) Cons: They could use a little more flavor in their regular pizza sauce. Such a fun little place. You pick your pizza and they make it! One thing I absolutely love about this place is there is unlimited toppings! And they don't ticky rack charge you for each topping like every other pizza place. Also save room for some delicious gelato! Price is pretty good considering it's artisan pizza. I have visited this place several times when up North for basketball tournaments. It's like a Mod Pizza where you pick your own toppings for a pizza and then they bake it. If we had not happened to come in later at night and it was packed with some sort of function (sadly with too many kids not being watched by the parents), I would rate it higher. But even so, the staff did everything they could to make our experience worthwhile (made sure we were always helped, even swamped were friendly, and answered questions) and will certainly come back. Being busy, I assume that is why the soda machine was out of some flavors, my favorite, so that was a bummer, but not a deal breaker. It was further explained because they were so busy, the oven hadn't been cleaned and that could explain why the bottoms of our pizzas were totally burnt, as in black. The only other thing was while the crust was a perfect thickness, the center of it is really limp and toppings do not hold up well, not sure if that is normal. That said, there are choices of chopped salad to paninis. Lots of toppings, and being a HUGE fan that fresh mozzarella is a choice! Even burnt, the pizza tasted good, and since that is not the norm, would come back and try it again. Gelatto is also good. A bit on the pricey side IMO for a pizza, drink and side...but worth a visit once in awhile. read more

In a competitive environment with a trend of pizzas and chopped salads, this was a welcome add to the neighborhood. Better pizza than a couple of the other similar places within a mile. Came here on their Grand Opening night and line was out the door. Surprisingly, we only waited about 10 minutes to place our personal "Your Pie" order as this is an order at the counter place and get a number. We got our drinks at the soda machines and about 3 minutes later our pies we're delivered. While not a wood fired oven, the wheat and white crust pizzas had a nice golden color and slight outer crunch. The owners Michelle and Kevin were very cordial. Kevin was hand tossing crust and Michelle and her crew were busy checking in guest's pizza quality and bussing tables. Bucky, the CEO of this Athens, Georgia based chain was greeting folks with his Southern hospitality and charm.
