This used to be one of our favorite, frequently visited build-your-own pizza places! However, under the new management, paired with what appears to be a mostly new staff, things have unfortunately declined. The last two times we visited it took over an hour to get through the line (of less than 4 people) and receive our pizzas, which is frustrating with two young kiddos who tend to get feral around dinner time. This evening, we arrived at 5:30 and our pizzas were brought to our table at 6:15, one of which was not made correctly. This unfortunately took an additional 15 (ish) minutes to make and bring back out. For context on the timing, there were 2 people ahead of our family in line and maybe 2-3 tables of guests, in what used to be a very full restaurant. It seemed, based on what staff told us, that priority was being given to online orders over people wanting to eat in the restaurant (i.e. "Sorry- we're working on a few tickets first and then we'll be right with you.) To be fair, the staff have always been polite and friendly; however the new team seems much less adept as the former team(s). We also have had good experiences with the way allergies are handled and have never gotten sick as a result (Celiac disease). Sadly, we will likely not be returning in the future given that we've had back to back frustrations. read more

I have to say I was pleasantly surprised since I thought this place would be like a mod pizza but cici's quality for whatever reason. I guess don't come here thinking you're going to get hand tossed Italian pizza but this place is very similar to MOD. One star for the food, the Kids working are very good. The owners are absolutely the most unprofessional and rudest people in the restaurant business!! We paid for our food sat down (soda machine empty) and was ready to eat and the mother of the owner came over and said that she needed to charge us another 3 dollars for our food, I told her that was ridiculous but went back up to pay the additional 3 dollars. When we went back up to get our ice cream we asked for the manager's email and were informed that they owed the place. Long story short he got upset with us and asked us to leave, so we got up to leave and he tried to keep me from leaving and said I needed to clear my table, I told him absolutely not! The owner then got in my face and threatened me and proceeded to call me quite a few names, which I thought was hilarious but nonetheless very unprofessional. Surprised at how busy this place is! That said, the line moved very quickly and my food came just as quick. Came here after skating looking for substance, and this place definitely provides. I ordered online and I got the Cuban pizza and the cheese bread to go. I arrived a little early and it wasn't ready yet which wasn't a problem. However quite some time passed by until they realized that I had been sitting there for awhile and they had skipped my order. The manager was very apologetic. We've been here a few times now. I still love the setup of getting to choose what you want on your pizza and getting a personalized size. Employees are always friendly and helpful! But I haven't liked my pizza as much the last couple times here. Both my husband and I used to get the white mac and cheese special pizza they had, but they got rid of it. It. was. AMAZING! What a great find! There are a few pizza places like this these days, but Your Pie is one of the best. Everyone gets their own personal pizza with all the toppings they desire, which makes it great for everyone. They have lots of fresh ingredients and the pizza is placed in a brick oven to bake. The pizza sauce is really good and the toppings tasted great. The outside patio was out of the sun and we sat there. They have beer on tap, as well as soft drinks, and other bottle options. The service is what makes this place stand out above the others, even if you don't think their food is better. From the moment we walked in the manager was talking with us and making us feel welcome. To begin, when you enter Your Pie is very clean and the staff greet you very friendly. This place is somewhat set up like a Chipotle in that it is a pick your own toppings kind of place. Pros: The toppings are very fresh and delicious. Another plus for this place is that any pizza with as many toppings as you like is only $8.49. They have everything from Artichokes, all types of meats, olives, peppers, etc. They have a variety of sauces to cook onto the pizza including Pesto, Marinara, Pizza Sauce, Ranch, BBQ, etc. After your pizza has been cooked, they let you have as many dipping sauces as you like (Free) such as: Ranch, Greek Yogurt, Caesar Dressing, etc. And they make their dressing dips from scratch! (The Ranch and Caesar dressing dips are incredible!!) Cons: They could use a little more flavor in their regular pizza sauce. Such a fun little place. You pick your pizza and they make it! One thing I absolutely love about this place is there is unlimited toppings! And they don't ticky rack charge you for each topping like every other pizza place. Also save room for some delicious gelato! Price is pretty good considering it's artisan pizza. This place was GREAT! Very similar to Pizza Rev or Mod Pizza but what we lived was their lunch special! You get a pizza, drink and either a side salad, chips or GELATO!! If we had not happened to come in later at night and it was packed with some sort of function (sadly with too many kids not being watched by the parents), I would rate it higher. But even so, the staff did everything they could to make our experience worthwhile (made sure we were always helped, even swamped were friendly, and answered questions) and will certainly come back. Being busy, I assume that is why the soda machine was out of some flavors, my favorite, so that was a bummer, but not a deal breaker. It was further explained because they were so busy, the oven hadn't been cleaned and that could explain why the bottoms of our pizzas were totally burnt, as in black. The only other thing was while the crust was a perfect thickness, the center of it is really limp and toppings do not hold up well, not sure if that is normal. That said, there are choices of chopped salad to paninis. Lots of toppings, and being a HUGE fan that fresh mozzarella is a choice! Even burnt, the pizza tasted good, and since that is not the norm, would come back and try it again. Gelatto is also good. A bit on the pricey side IMO for a pizza, drink and side...but worth a visit once in awhile. read more

I have visited this place several times when up North for basketball tournaments. It's like a Mod Pizza where you pick your own toppings for a pizza and then they bake it. The ingredients seem fresh and good. It's easy to pull some tables together for groups. We put all the boys at one large table and parents at another. Our group really liked the food! read more

I really like the pizza at this joint. The dough is one of my favorites. I get the ischia (sp) it's an olive oil pizza. I prefer that over the traditional red sauce. Very friendly staff. Wife and i shared a White Pizza and a Chicken Ranch Pannini. The crust on the pie was perfect. Good amount of garlic and cheese. Really tasty. The Pannini was nice as well. Bread crunchy and chewy with some bacon. The Chicken was chopped up like a pizza topping, strange... but it worked... would order it again. Tried a slice of a friends Pesto Pizza... that was excellent.. very flavorful and not salty. Oh... and you can add all sorts of topping to your pizza. They don't seem to charge extra. In a competitive environment with a trend of pizzas and chopped salads, this was a welcome add to the neighborhood. Better pizza than a couple of the other similar places within a mile. Came here on their Grand Opening night and line was out the door. Surprisingly, we only waited about 10 minutes to place our personal "Your Pie" order as this is an order at the counter place and get a number. We got our drinks at the soda machines and about 3 minutes later our pies we're delivered. While not a wood fired oven, the wheat and white crust pizzas had a nice golden color and slight outer crunch. The owners Michelle and Kevin were very cordial. Kevin was hand tossing crust and Michelle and her crew were busy checking in guest's pizza quality and bussing tables. Bucky, the CEO of this Athens, Georgia based chain was greeting folks with his Southern hospitality and charm.
