I had the Tour of Italy which is a massive plate of food. Easily 2-3 meals. Hubby got the Italian Steak Sub which was also very large. Enough for 2 meals, especially after an appetizer. Our server was fine, but could have done some things better. He did check on us often which was good. Seemed like they were understaffed for such a busy dining-out day. But we will return.

The price of $19 was pretty comparable to anywhere else. However, what I got was a LOT of pasta and very little shrimp, salad or bread! Perhaps it was because it was a to go order. I know in the past when eating in restaurant, the salad and the bread was much more ample. The shrimp was overcooked. There was maybe one cup of salad if that, and two very small slices of bread. I will most likely dine in again, but will never again purchase an order to go.

Old school booth dining, fast service, pay at the counter before you sit. Friendly crew working, prepping the pizza right in front of you. Buy it by the slice, thin or thick crust--I got a slice of each, very filling (esp that thick crust). $2 draft beer including craft--this is a beer/drinking/college town for sure, it seems. If I were 20 years younger in college I'd be a regular, as a tourist this was cool for a cheap quick dinner before a concert.

I visited family on the west side of Chicago a few years ago and had an Italian beef, dipped, for the first time. I ate them every day of my trip. An absolute favorite meal of mine. So much so that I swore to myself that I'd never try one anywhere else after my trip. I accidentally saw a picture of it on Rosati's Google reviews. I decided to go against my word and give them a try. And my goodness am I glad that I did! Traveling to Chicago can't happen often so having this locally has been a game changer for me. It's not 100% Chicago taste, as expected, but it's definitely still in the 90's/A+ range! This is the closest I will probably get to my Chicago visit and I am not mad at all. The food is hot, fresh, and so full of flavor. The only difference for me is I'd get it dipped more lol I like my shit drippin! The spice is on point. It's tender meat. The bread is soft. Though hearing good things is pretty much all the good we got from this place. We ordered online for pick up. Spent over $80 for some pretty mediocre and dry food.. nothing really seem fresh but the fried rice which was reallyyy lacking. Chicken tenders and wings seem like they were cooked ahead and sauced upon ordering. Philly actually had a good amount of protein, but seem like it was preheated and again, so dry. We gave the meat to our dog because I hate wasting food. Even though I hate wasting food, we did end up throwing away the chicken sandwiches because no one wanted to finish them and my dog is actually allergic to poultry. LOL. Not to forget to mention that we ordered their "wet" lemon pepper and they were definitely not wet. We've actually had some really good wet lemon pepper before so I'm not sure what their take on it was supposed to be. "WeT bUt NoT rEaLlY.." ? Also when we picked up our order the vibe we got was not very welcoming. It wasn't busy since it was a weekday and in between lunch and dinner. The staff made it obvious they did not want to be there and it definitely showed in their food. Hate that we wasted time and money on pretty but not good food.
