We hired Your Night Productions for our wedding and they did a fantastic job. With a million things to do before the wedding, they were one of the vendors that we didn't have to think about. They have a great website that allowed us to organize and manage our "must play", "do not play", and "other songs we like" lists. It allows you to attach notes to individual songs such as our first dance or father-daughter dance as well as listen to the entire song on the website. The night of, they kept the dance floor full the whole night. At one point they played a song that cleared the dance floor and let it play for about 2 minutes, then faded it out before it was over and got everyone back out there. The introductions made by Danny were flawless. He lined everyone up, then went to each couple, starting with our parents, and asked how they would like to be introduced and how to pronounce their names. They even played a few extra songs after midnight since the crowd didn't want to leave. Overall they did a wonderful job and we would recommend them for any event! I worked with Matt from Your Night Productions for my wedding on October 5, 2013. To this day, I STILL have family and friends telling me how much fun they had dancing at my wedding. They also say the DJ did an awesome job with the music selection and I have to agree. EVERYONE was on the dance floor for four straight hours - parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles included. Matt did a great job working with my husband and I on what type of music we wanted to hear during each section of the reception - cocktail hour, intros, dinner, etc. He also worked with us on short notice. A MUST! Matt and his team made our wedding night. The dance floor was completely packed even past midnight. Song after song was a hit among all generations. I received so many compliments and guests wanting to know who our DJ was - Matt was a rock star. Not only does he DJ, he was our MC, he set up uplighting and an amazing social photo booth that was a popular attraction throughout the night. The photo booth had options for GIFs, Boomerangs and still photos that could easily be shared on social media. Our guests had a blast playing with the "booth" and all of the props. I hired Your Night Productions for my wedding in October 2012. I worked with Danny Diebold from the first meeting and he ended up being our MC that night as well. He's awesome. Very friendly and professional and gets how to do a wedding right. As the MC, he helped make sure everyone was where they were supposed to be at certain points of the night, that I was inside to hear certain songs that I told him I really wanted to hear, and he even remembered to have the DJ get "permission" from me when guests wanted to play something on our "no play" list (of course, we let them play it, we wanted to make our guests happy!). My husband and I enjoyed using their online database to list all of the songs we wanted to play for the ceremony and our suggestions for cocktail hour, dinner and dancing. With a few suggestions, Danny knew the kind of music we liked and we enjoyed everything we heard that night. All of the dancers in our families had a great time that night--the dance floor was never empty! In addition, we had a slideshow we wanted to play and Danny helped coordinate that. We also chose to use their photo booth service as well, which was a HIT with our guests! I am so glad we decided to do that because it gave guests something else to do and left us with a very entertaining guest book! The uplighting offered is really neat, too. It helped add a personalized touch to the ambiance that night. My wife, Stacey, and I chose Your Night Productions for our wedding reception. When the day came Matt Lodding and his assistant couldn't have done a better job. They were entertaining. They moved the reception along. They didn't steal the spotlight. They were receptive to other guest requests. The number 1 thing people say to us about our wedding was - it was so much fun. I think Matt and Your Night had a lot to do with that. I highly recommend them to anyone for any event. The only complaint I could possibly give is they were a little hard to get a hold of before the wedding during the planning process. We may have had high expectations however. I have never worked with this company exactly. One of the founders, Danny Dieblod, who is also one of the DJs/MCs was the DJ at my wedding 5 years ago. He was amazing. So easy to work with. He is genuinely a nice person and loves what he does. He answered all our questions played whatever songs we asked, and didn't play the songs we didn't want. We selected Your Night Productions for our wedding and Matt was our DJ/MC. He met with us ahead of time to discuss our plans for the wedding. He was flexible with time as we both work and have busy schedules. Matt and his DJ were amazing. He played a fantastic mix of Modern Alternative with Contemporary music that set the tone for the rest of the night. Instantly, our wedding felt elegant without feeling stuffy--a perfect representation of the rest of our wedding's style. He took ownership of the party by being clear and thorough in his mic use. He kept his presence in check, being sure to keep myself and my wife at a focal point, but just enough attention on him to keep the focus of the room. What is great is Matt was not alone. He was able to work the room and be elsewhere while his DJ could work the music and speakers to ensure continuity and flow throughout the entire reception. Best of all, I witnessed Matt and our Photographer talking all throughout the night and after each meeting, there was a new interesting, creative photo taken mingled with a purposeful song or Matt's direction to the dance floor for the audience to crowd around my wife and I, throw their hands around us, etc. Matt kept people of all ages (seriously...all ages) out on the floor all night long. I'm so glad we found Matt Lodding and Your Night Productions as our wedding DJ! He also provided our ceremony sound and music, uplighting, and photo booth! Matt was amazing to work with from our very first meeting, and so helpful through all of our planning emails and phone calls leading up to the wedding. His online music planner made organizing all of our songs for the wedding day so easy. I can't even describe how great Matt was on our wedding day with every detail and timing element, making sure everything went off without a hitch! While I love to listen to music, when it comes to telling people exactly what I want to hear, it is difficult. Danny, our DJ, made me feel at ease. I have nothing but positive words for Your Night Productions, who I used for my wedding a few weeks ago. They have an online feature where you can fill out all your information for the wedding party introductions, first dance choices, et cetera ahead of time, which makes planning a breeze. They also have an online playlist maker where you can request your must-play songs, so you can really personalize the feel of your reception. Matt and Dave, my awesome DJs, played almost every song on my list, which made me so happy! Every single one of my guests was out on the dance floor at one point or another, even my older family members and the people who usually don't dance, and the dance party didn't stop until literally the minute we had to vacate the venue. I've been to so many weddings where guests will get bored and slowly start trickling out an hour or two before the wedding is supposed to end, and I'm so glad we booked a DJ who didn't let that happen at my wedding! Requested a song and was first on their sheet...went up four times throughout night and also at end of night the bride asked if song could be played and they said they have a hard cut off and already had songs picked. Almost positive they made a mix before they showed up and hit play and did nothing else...would never use this place and anyone who does should just grab an old iPod and save yourself the money.
