We hired Michelle as our wedding coordinator about 1.5 years before our wedding date, and we had helpful check-in meetings every few months to make sure we were on track in hiring vendors, pulling together our day-of schedule, planning for decor, etc, etc, etc. Michelle kept us on track throughout the planning process, and always had helpful templates and advice for every part of the process! Right before our wedding day, we got some unfortunate news that necessitated us to cancel our reception venue completely. This terrible news was handled amazingly well by Michelle. She talked though the situation with my partner and I and gave us options. We ended up having the reception in our family's backyard and needed to change the plans for the caterer, alcohol, DJ, and cake all in the last few days. She went above and beyond and stepped up for us in the final days and hours before our wedding, and was an absolute superhero on our wedding day. The amount of work she did was phenomenal. Some extra details that stand out to us are:      All of the work and coordination to get things running smoothly a new venue in such short notice (and with all the changes that had to occur from our plan).      Her going out of her way to get my mom a meal for her dietary restriction      Pinning on the groom and groomsmen's boutonnieres      Sheltering the bride from the rain      Passing out appetizers       Passing out cake      All of the myriad of things she did that we don't  even know about. The owner, Melvin Haynes, made and confirmed an agreement to deliver critical decorations for my 30th wedding anniversary celebration. Delivery was to take place the night before the event, on Friday, 6/29/2018 at 5.30pm. Mr. Haynes never showed up, no items were delivered, phone calls & text messages were not accepted or responded to for over 30 days. I had to scramble the morning of my wedding celebration to replace those critical items needed to make the decor complete. Today, 7/30/2018 , Mr. Haynes finally answered the phone, denied standing me up on one of the most memorable days of my life, one of the most irreplaceable days of my life and further denied the absence of communication. As a business owner Mr. Haynes is, at best: [1] not professional, [2] not reliable, [3] not responsive to the needs of his client, [4] not respectful and [5] not trust worthy. A business supporter should not be prey to the business or treated as a second class citizen. I give this business A ZERO star rating, however the system requires that I select at least 1 star.
