Don't believe what you read, heard. You have to experience it. My experience for Microblading…read moreprocedure at Celestial lashes and skincare result was awful. My eye brows became thinner than before Microblading. And it requires two appointments to complete the Microblading. I couldn't get second touch up appointment to complete because Nicole Doesn't response phone calls, I have such difficulty to get hold of Nicole Tapia for touch up. No response from Celestial Lashes. Nicole Tapia did Microblading procedure for me on 05/26. The procedure was taking place in the back of the hallway. It was dark hallway. I was wearing mask due to her comment of her family tested Covid positive. .. Nicole never asked to see my face or see my picture, instead she blind sighted preformed Microblading procedure quickly. I was advised to call her for touch up within 5 weeks. I started to call since last week 06/26 to make an appointment for touch up. No response! I posted the request for an appointment on Celestial Lashes and skillcare web site, no answer. The procedure was quick. The cost was not cheap $400 + Tip of $80. The results are poor. The apprentice was worsted before. Nicole was overly thinner my eye brows. And she will not respond to you for touch up.. you will never get your message answered. The service was quick, the website misleading people. That was my experience with Celestial Lashes.

I always feel extremely comfortable when I receive my eyelash extensions. There's calming music in the background that feels relaxing and I always fall asleep. I repeat, always. I try really hard not to fall asleep because I feel like it's awkward to fall asleep on your lash technician because god knows what happens (jolting, snoring, sleep talk?). Overall, I'm sure it happens a lot here and I know I'm not the only one. S E R V I C E The consultation portion at the beginning was well communicated. You choose what style and length you prefer and Nicole will make some suggestions based on your preference. Nicole has a soft touch, and trust me this is important because I've met lash technicians who were rough. I never felt any tug on my lashes or glue at the wrong spots. I appreciate the price set for the lash extensions because it's so worth it when you're coming across someone like Nicole.

Loved her work through photos but saw she wasn't accepting new clients and had a waitlist. Thankfully this was 3 months before my move so I expressed interest and she told me to message her again closer to my move. I guess one of her clients moved away so I got lucky and I'm glad! She's in a little studio tucked away, but it is close to Belmont Caltrain station and was just a 15 minute walk from my apartment. I love that she put lash decorations on her door to make it easier to find :) Cindy is very warm, loving, and friendly. I had just met her and she was already treating me like I was a client of hers for years. I had lashes on already from my previous place and she said she could work with what was there vs needing an entirely new set. She also asked me what look I wanted to achieve and she said it would take a couple more sessions since we are building off what's already there. I am excited to see how it turns out :) Wholeheartedly recommend her, and just make sure you get on her waitlist!!

That said, the lash design and mapping were not a fit for me. The set came out much more glam than what I was hoping for: very long, volumized, and low-set. On my eyes, the lashes hung forward, hit my glasses, and partially obstructed my vision. They also felt heavy on my naturally fine lashes. It's just not my personal style. The full set took about an hour, which made the experience feel more focused on speed than on customized eye-shape mapping. I do want to give credit where it's due: when I reached out, the studio was responsive and professional, offered to fix the set, and ultimately issued a partial refund, which I really appreciated. The studio is also reasonably priced and easy to book. This may be a great fit for clients who like bolder, dramatic, traditional glam lashes. If you're looking for a lighter or more natural/modern style, it may not be the best match. One additional thing to note is that the studio uses an open floor plan with multiple beds and clients in a shared room, which is consistent with the lower price point and worth knowing before you book.
