The most important aspect for us is that our dog doesn't just get dog playtime but that he gets plenty on human contact. Other places offer options of four hours of doggie day care then in the kennels when you board them. Not At Your Bark N Call. The dogs get indoor play time, outdoor play time with the area having real grass, dirt, and trees. (Not turf for grass), and lots of human contact time. It's the norm there. He gets loved on so much that one of the handlers is actually our dogs favorite human. To be honest.... It hurt a little ;) But we know by his demeanor and playfulness when we pick him up that he is loved and well taken care of At Your Bark N Call. Just an FYI.... It's based upon months of actually seeing how my dog comes home from his sleep overs, seeing his reaction when the handlers take him back, and the personal conversations with the staff. The convenient Wheaton location of the facility is great for daycare and they also allow for half-day daycare too. Very flexible scheduling. When I pick my dog up, I can tell that she's received personalized attention from the staff and that she has been well cared for. Often she's been able to work one-on-one with a staff member for nearly all of her half-day session. We also attend the group classes which are incredibly unique and let my dog build up practice interacting with other dogs in a way that reinforce new, good behaviors. My neighbors are thrilled with the progress almost as much as I am - my dog no longer automatically barks at everyone outside now and is able to make new friends. The in home training we did originally was incredibly valuable to get us started on the right foot. We need to do that again very soon! Is it the least expensive daycare and/or training in the area?
