This summer me and one of my cousins and our husbands came back to relive our memories, and the place was just how I remembered. Very friendly staff and service. There is a phone number on their website to call which gives up to date directions in terms of what is available and when and where which is super convenient. At the farm they have quart and pint containers, bags and trays for you to use as you go out and pick. Their fields are nice and easy to find. The fruit is fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced. The trouble is the timing, anyone who has picked before knows there is a small window. Strawberries usually come near the end of June and then cherries, blueberries and raspberries quickly follow. Blink and you might miss it, as soon as the end of the school year approaches, use the phone number so that you don't! Coulters seems to have fair pricing for their fruit. Berries all are purchased by pint or quart, whereas cherries are purchased by pound. While they are delicious and worth every penny, be aware the cherries will add up quickly, they weigh more than you think! If you're looking for a fun day, rewarding when you bring home the spoils, check out Coulter farms. Remember to catch them at the end of June, and bring some sunscreen and water, it gets hot out there!

The staff is really friendly & helpful, and it's an enjoyable place to shop for fresh fruit & veggies, gourmet items, plus they have a salad bar, a hot bar, soup, a juice bar & an in-house bakery to boot! You've got to shop here.

I often go there for lunch for some of their fresh sandwiches and salads, or I'll often stop by on the way home from work with some locally grown fruit/vegetables. All of Niagara's finest farmed products on out and on display. The Harvest Barn is a great alternative to fast food lunchtime ventures. The food tastes great and you feel healthy after eating - what a concept! The Harvest Barn also serves as a great alternative to the supersized Mega-grocery stores which are all too commonly found in suburban cities across North America (which also tend to import their produce from all over instead of fresh, locally grown food). Outside they have picnic tables if you feel like enjoying the sunshine, and also a small kids play area (ie. small wooden train) which is great for distracting the little rascals or hyperactive adults. They also have Fruit Baskets, Deli Trays, and Sandwich Platters. I've never had the pleasure of having any, but I wouldn't hesitate in ordering seeing as everything else I've tried has been pretty fantastic. The bottom line, I highly recommend the Harvest Barn because it's healthy, locally grown food and they take pride in the quality of service that they provide (and it shows).

She told me to go Facebook see what they had and give them a call. I did exactly that and I was blown away at the selection of ress fruits and vegetables available. I made my list and gave them a call. It took several tries to get through to place my order but with persistence I got through after about a half hour. I placed an order for bananas, pears, lemons, limes, kiwis, spinach, broccoli, yellow squash, green zucchini, ginger and onions. The woman I spoke to was super helpful and patient. Being that everything is discussed over the phone, she described how the broccoli was crowns not the whole stalk and the spinach was a bushel iof a good size for a salad but not enough if it was being cooked down. She told me which of the pears were sweeter based on what was a available. She really went above and beyond. A credit card number is required at the time of the order. I requested that my order be available the following morning. When I went to pick it up, I simply pulled up, called and they brought out my groceries. It was 4 large bags full of produce. Everything was fresh and hardy. I was quite impressed. It was the best $28 I could have spent. I can't wait to place another order.

We came here for the baked goods because I'm always on the hunt for cakes, cookies and pastries!…read more They had a great frozen food selection and if I didn't live so far, I would've bought a bunch. Maybe next time, when I can bring a cooler! We ended up getting a milk chocolate chip cookie, cream cheese cookie, plain butter tart, pecan butter tart and a cheesecake cookie dough bar. The cream cheese cookie was by far my favourite thing we got. So much so, I'm currently looking up recipes on how to make cream cheese cookies lol. The butter tart was delicious but omg sooo sweet. I really should not have ate the whole thing at once because it was a little much lol. Note, only eat half in a day lol. I wasn't a fan of the cheesecake cookie bar. I love cheesecake but I didn't love the blend with the cookie. I'm sure someone else would like this but it wasn't to my tastebuds' liking. Finally, the milk chocolate chip cookie was perfect. Warmed up for 10 seconds made it even better. Has a bit of a crunch on the outside with an ooey gooey chewy centre. A perfect cookie. All items cost around $20, which I think is fair as we got 5 items. The woman helping us was extremely kind and friendly, which took this review to 5 stars. She was so sweet. I'll be sure to stop by again when I'm around NOTL again.

It was $1/ear of corn, so comparable to a suburban farmer's market. A scoop of ice cream was $6/7!
