If I should receive poor service, I can feel very frustrated at times, and in an office where you expect to receive top quality, professional, discreet service as advertised, and you do not - it is very frustrating...especially when my health is concerned, and it was in this situation. I chose this attorney to assist me. . It is the integrity of an attorney that makes him worthy of one's business, not location or convenience. When someone retains an attorney, they are trusting that attorney explicitly. To have employees especially or that attorney treat their clients condescendingly or as less a human being than they are is not acceptable. That is how I was treated by a select few employees in MR BOWEN'S office. After voicing my concern about this, even MR BOWEN himself met the others' quality of attitude and suggested I find another attorney. This after he refused to release my case to a more suited attorney for me. This man only wants money and control. He made accusations about me that could not be further from the truth - and instead of asking me about them, he just assumed it was accurate, and lost my vote forever...and anyone who asks my opinion of him! If you call during lunch...Beware! The answering machine does not pick up...THE WIFE DOES...AND SHE BITES! Because this business is a law firm, they should know how important it is to treat individuals with respect, kindness, and the with the basic knowledge that customers are their livelihood. My husband had a VERY COMPLICATED case, one in which SEVERAL lawyers turned us down because it was so complicated. For some reason Joe Bowen decided to take us under his wing. And that he did. It takes a few years to settle injury claims, we were so broken down emotionally and financially, the WHOLE staff including Lindsey Bowen were always so encouraging and thorough. We would break down in his office during some of the sessions, they were so nice and encouraging. We wanted to give up, they plowed on for us. We did not have to do any dirty work, they did it for us. AND they didn't get paid until we got paid. The office of Joe Bowen really changed our lives. It took SO MUCH pressure off of me financially for the future. Joe Bowen is a very smart attorney. He has this amazing way of keeping you on track. I was not upset that he couldn't take my case. I work in the legal field and understand how the process works. I learned additional information and asked Jason if that was under his scope of practice, and was not looking for additional legal advice or any advice, just asking if he could take on my case. I got to pay for my lnew lawyer to research a case that was already research resulting in double dipping. Should have told me they were not able to help me with the specific needs of my case because medical staff issues and the nuances of the medical field is not what they do and then they will keep you to juice you for billable hours. Not at all happy and I feel like they could care less about me. I was just a dollar sign. If you can hire them on contingency or for a set retainer with % of settlement fine but do not pay out of pocket or they will run up those hours.

We stared to feel like she didn't have time for us and was squeezed our case into her work load. Looking back she shouldn't have taken our case and been honest that she couldn't take another client, she tried her best but was too busy to really give our case the attention it deserved, this was about our child after all and deserved to be not just squeezed in. The worst part is at the end of it all, not being satisfied we reached out after already having paid $10,000, we had a balance of a little over $600. She then told us to pay what we could. At that point we had nothing to pay, we had paid all we could and didn't bother attempting to borrow money from friends and family we just didn't pay anything. Months had passed with no communication and then my husband gets a phone call saying we are in collections and that Renee is suing us over $600 we owed her. I called the office confused they said since we didn't pay anything they sent us to collections. I explained Renee said to pay what we could, which was nothing Stacie here paralegal then said that meant "within reason". If some type of minimum payment was due then that should have been stated. I reached out via email to Renee stating I want to see my final notice that says you're sending me to collections. She said she doesn't need to do that and that she had said she would "be willing to accept anything". So now we are in collections and she will not pull it from collections after telling us we only needed to pay what we could. Renee stated one thing and did another. If we knew this was going to collections we would have asked friends and family to help. After paying her THOUSANDS of dollars and being told to pay "what we could", we find ourselves in collections over $600, Do NOT recommend. Do NOT use.
