We paid a premium onboarding fee with the understanding that costs would decrease the following year, yet this year's bill came in even higher than the last. The lack of clear communication throughout has been deeply frustrating, and our confidence in the Archer & Lewis / W&N partnership has eroded as a result. I've attempted to contact them multiple times, despite their website and business profiles online saying they are open, their voicemail says they are closed. Infuriating process.

My realtor had worked with Lance in the past and said he was great so I decided to give him a call. Lance is extremely knowledgeable, transparent, straightforward and patient. He fought until the very end after one local lender beat out some initial quotes and found me a better interest rate and lower closing costs and laid it out very clearly for me. I highly recommend using a broker over going to individual lenders but use individual lenders as a comparison point. This is my second time buying a home and I regret not using a broker before.

If you're in the Seattle area, I would highly, highly recommend Lance as a broker. I literally made…read morethis yelp account just to leave Lance a review because we had such a great experience with him during our homebuying process. Our real estate agent recommended Lance to us. In our offer for our house, we waived our financing contingency and had 55K in earnest money on the line that we would lose if we didn't close on time. Not only this, but the previous broker we were using was unwilling to negotiate on rates so we had to scramble to find a second broker, and we are so, so grateful that Lance was there for us. Lance got us to clear to close within 2 weeks. He was EXTREMELY responsive through the entire process, understood how much stress we had being inexperienced buyers who had put 55K on the line, and literally updated us many times daily until we received our official clear to close. He is extremely patient, and answered every single question we had about the process (we probably sent him 100+ emails, and he responded to ALL of them with a great attitude). The appraisal went smoothly, we ran into 0 issues, were able to relax weeks before our actual closing date thanks to Lance. I cannot recommend him enough, not only for his deep understanding of the underwriting process, but also that he is genuinely one of the nicest people I've ever interacted with, let alone in the real estate industry! Oh, he also sent us a super nice (and personalized!) closing gift. Just a 10/10 experience all around. Thank you so much, Lance!
