Change attorneys on me and paid for new attorney who was not proficient in the specific area of employment law needed. Charged me $14,300 and then told me about $50,000 more for arbitration. I got to pay for my lnew lawyer to research a case that was already research resulting in double dipping. Should have told me they were not able to help me with the specific needs of my case because medical staff issues and the nuances of the medical field is not what they do and then they will keep you to juice you for billable hours. Not at all happy and I feel like they could care less about me. I was just a dollar sign. If you can hire them on contingency or for a set retainer with % of settlement fine but do not pay out of pocket or they will run up those hours. read more

In my case, after three years of paid representation, he suddenly demanded another $8,000 and a brand-new contract -- at the most critical point in my case. That requirement had never been mentioned before. I paid the money. Then he stalled. Again. The new contract wasn't about clarity -- it was about setting up a technical excuse to withdraw without accountability. Worse, another attorney in his firm (David) had originally been helpful -- until Seth intervened. After that, David stopped communicating entirely. That is not legal service. Go to a toy store, buy 'lawyer barbie' and have her represent you - she will treat you better and provide better legal services than Mr. Rosenberg. This is the worst legal experience I have ever had. Mr. Rosenberg is a hot head and is incredibly unprofessional. When I asked for a statement lf my account, to review everything I've been billed for - no one in his office would provide me one, and Mr. Rosenberg claimed he didn't know what a statement is. If you'd like to see some of the incredulous communications from Mr. Rosenberg, just message me and I'll share them with you - they speak for themselves. Seth stepped in a few weeks after another attorney filed my bankruptcy paperwork and I realized that the first attorney had made some pretty major mistakes. I had to fire that attorney on a Sunday afternoon, and started dialing phone numbers from the WSBA website that afternoon. Seth not only picked up, but spent an hour discussing what had happened and willingly stepped up to the plate. While the other attorney couldn't wrap his head around some of the complications that had popped up, Seth actually laughed it off and smoothly refiled all the papers, called the Trustee personally to discuss the possible issues and my bankruptcy was discharged, on time, without a hitch. The main thrust of this law group is to solve an individual's legal problems by pushing them toward bankruptcy. This law group was recommended to me by the King County Law Association. I was assigned a very poor attorney and my issue was cancellation of my health care insurance while I was in a medical facility. The issues surrounding this event were complex. I wish I had selected a law firm whose legal expertise was in health care but that was very difficult to find. If you want to file for bankruptcy, consider this law group. I have been more disappointed with this firm than other reviewers and I am considering filing a Washington State Bar complaint on the billing from one of their attorneys. I retained them to pursue a claim because an attorney I knew from a prior firm (Kim Whitsit) was going to resolve quickly I believed. Unfortunately, someone else was assigned the case after I signed the retainer (Pamela Ornstil). Over the next 4+ months: 1) I did not get updates until I asked once a month to prompt some action. I am aware legal matters take time, but this took needless time a couple of times. 2) A number of emails did not get any response requiring me to ask again. 3) Responses on average took over a week, if they came at all. 4) I did not get any invoices for 4 months only to be told suddenly that I needed to pay to continue work on my case. I then discovered they overbilled about 7 hours for what should have been a couple of emails rather than moving the case along efficiently as I had asked because of the prior history and research I provided on my claim at the start. Several more weeks of slow response trying to get the billing issues resolved have been unsuccessful so far and I feel like I have lost half a year and I feel I was misled. I recommend finding a firm that is more reliable from my experiences and opinion. read more

Guess what, a few days ago, I contacted my old colleague who nowadays is a lawyer and asked for assistance in reading Seth's reply to my review for his sloppy work in my case. The attorney (her name is Pam) advised me to seek help somewhere else as she defends lawyers like Seth Rosenberg in court and that would be a conflict of interest. What Pam did instead, she read my original review and Seth Rosenberg's reply here on Yelp and contacted Seth urgently so he can revise his original reply asap, otherwise he would get in trouble. I could not believe she did that! She betrayed me. The bottom line: trust no lawyers. Do your homework before retaining an attorney, read hundreds of reviews and trust humble people like myself because we write from our heart! Stay away from Seth Rosenberg' representation.
