That was the only time they were prompt. The demo process dragged on for 3.5 weeks. They would arrive and do a couple hours of work and then leave. One week they worked exactly two hours. When I questioned on why it was taking so long to do simple demo the answer was; we have other jobs and a small crew. The estimator arrived on the fourth week and submitted the final estimate for demo and restoration to the adjuster. When I spoke with her, she informed me that they would not be finishing the job because they could not meet our timeline (a timeline for completion was NEVER given to us during the process). I had simply questioned why it was taking so long for demo and the workers worked such short hours and few days in a week. So, now we sit with a basement that is demo'd and no one to finish the job. I would never recommend this company. Beware if your insurance adjuster recommends Fabio construction.

They went above and beyond for us through an incredibly difficult home repair situation. It all started when our kids flooded their bathroom. Frank Fabio took care of everything--water damage, new toilets throughout the house, a new vanity and flooring in the kids' bathroom, and repairing/repainting our laundry room below. Their work was excellent, so we knew we could trust them. Then came a nightmare experience with Window Nation. It all started from my son throwing a rock through one of our basement windows, and after multiple bids, we went with Window Nation to replace all of our windows throughout the entire house (a pricey investment to say the least). They installed our new windows on the coldest day of the year, damaging our siding and leaving a mess of caulk on every window inside and outside. To say the least, we were not impressed, and it seemed worse than what we had to begin with. When we tried to get them to fix or replace the siding, they refused. We had no choice but to file an insurance claim for new siding through Frank Fabio. On the first day of siding removal, Frank Fabio's Siding Specialist made a shocking discovery - our windows weren't installed properly or even up to code. They warned us that they couldn't warranty their siding work unless the windows were corrected. Window Nation denied any wrongdoing, forcing us to get a lawyer involved. After nearly a year of fighting, meetings with Window Nation's Area Manager, the Soft Lite window manufacturer, and legal teams, they finally admitted fault and agreed to replace all the windows. Meanwhile, we lived in a home with no siding through a full Minnesota year of snow, rain, and wind, leading to extensive water damage. Even then, Window Nation continued to delay and send unqualified third-party contractors who did nothing to fix the damage. Through all of this, Frank Fabio Company stood by us. They provided key documentation for our lawyer, recommended legal support, and were a constant source of guidance. When it came time to repair the water damage inside, they didn't just push expensive fixes--they actually walked us through how to handle some repairs ourselves to save money. Matt Brown, Chad Nevland, and the entire Frank Fabio team are the definition of integrity, professionalism, and true customer service. They are everything Window Nation is not. If you want a company that stands by its work and its customers, Frank Fabio Company is the one to call.

We spent $7,000 with Munson to bring plumbing to the top floor of our house for a 2nd story bathroom and to install the toilet, vanity, bathtub and medicine cabinet that we already had. Their sloppy work and lack of attention to detail was unbelievable. Our tub is centered in the middle of a wall (to get a great view out of a window) and the initial installation they made was with PVC pipe. Seriously? PVC pipe in the middle of a bathroom for all to see? I had to request that they re-do it and use metal. We needed a new faucet for our vintage clawfoot tub and asked Andy if he had any that were appropriate, and he showed up with one that looked like it belonged in an airplane bathroom. Ok, so he doesn't have any sense of aesthetics, but when I asked him what other options there were, that maybe he could show me his catalog and I could pick something out, and his response was "This is the only one". Really? Wow. A plumber that has only one option of faucet? He then said I could go and find one myself, which I did, but I couldn't believe his attitude and lack of customer service. They had to reposition the side vanity lights TWICE because neither time they bothered to measure that they were the same distance from the side of the vanity. They also had to reposition the sink cabinet because it was off level by nearly an inch. That's quite a lot! I could see it just by eye, and all I got was pathetic excuses for why nobody bothered to measure in any of these cases. They also did a terrible job of repairing the ceiling where they had to cut it out to put the pipes through, and I had to ask that they redo it. Andy himself promised that all the really nice, 100+ year old wood trim would be painstakingly removed and reinstalled, and when he tried to show me the "finished" room, I had to point out that they had splintered a 5 inch section off of the edge of one of the trim pieces. It makes me wonder if they were just hoping I wouldn't notice? Another small thing, but that goes to show how sloppy and uncaring about their work they are, they left about a dozen nails and chunks of wood in the middle of the driveway. The employees were all very nice and I really liked them, but that's about all I can say that's positive about this company. I strongly recommend you go elsewhere for your plumbing needs.
