Starting with the bid process, Dimitri showed up on time, was respectful, and spent the time he needed to measure and clearly document the project. After the proposal was ready, he stopped by and went through every item in detail - the work breakdown for demolition, carpentry, plumbing, tile work, and other optional labor work. Everything was clearly spelled out, and Dmitri answered all of our questions. Our project lasted three weeks. He was on time every day - not a minute late. He would always spend a few minutes every morning going through his plan for the day, reviewing any change requests, and answering questions. The path to the work area was covered and taped with tarps; every single item that needed to be preserved was wrapped and taped with plastic. Entrances to the nearby bedrooms were covered (and the plastic was removed at the end of each day). The mirror and the vanity in the bathroom were properly protected. We were very impressed with his attention to detail. The quality of Dimitri's work was superb. As he was laying down the tiles, he took the time to make sure no tiles with repeating patterns were next to each other, and made sure the tiles were from the same lot. He inspected the new bathtub for defects. He was very conscious about how the project work would inconvenience us (we are all working from home) and he made sure we had plenty of advance notice before the water needed to be shut off for plumbing work. As part of the project, he also took hundreds of pictures to document the process. When you're looking for a contractor, you want someone who has excellent skills, is dependable, responsible, and pays attention to detail. You will be happy with YoungCastle Bathrooms.

I quickly googled emergency electrician in my area and reached out to Harrison without doing my usual review checks, etc. They quoted $79 for the call and service to be determined once the electrician was here. Ok. Once here, I was quoted over $400 for him to remove the can to look for the problem. I was shocked at the ridiculous price, but also very concerned because I knew my roof needed replacing. So, I went ahead. He removed the can and felt around. The insulation above was dry, the Sheetrock was wet. No further explanation when I asked why that could happen. He looked outside and didn't see any signs of a hole, etc. and said he didn't know. But, if I wanted, he could change out all the cans in the kitchen/dining/living room for a mere $xx,xxx. Ridiculous. Goodbye. Would not recommend to anyone!! Expensive lesson. Always check!!

The lack of communication and consideration for my time was extremely frustrating and unprofessional. I had rearranged my day to accommodate their schedule, only to be left waiting with no notice that they were running behind. A simple courtesy call letting me know they were delayed would have made a significant difference. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling that my time was not respected. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Harrison Electric. This is not the level of professionalism or customer service I would expect from a company I am trusting to work on my home.

I responded back, how rude and asked what he found confusing or difficult. He responded with another really mean, nasty, uncalled for email. I am unsure if it is because I'm a woman, or whether he's just no longer fit to be dealing with customers with large jobs. I recommend skip them. Sad, because they had done small projects for me in the past. If you do use them, only for 1 singular project at a time.
