He was a friendly, respectful young man who was very knowledgeable. He put little booties over his work boots which is appreciated. He reviewed what the game plan was before starting to make sure we were on the same page. I had another plumbing concern (faulty water shut off valve) that I wanted his opinion on. He was able to complete the job same day, for an extra fee of course, since it wasn't a part of Center Point Energy install. He walked me thru the type of valve he would be installing (lever) vs what I had before (knob) and why it was better. He also showed me how to empty the outside faucet line after I bled it from the outside (to winterize the line). He also reviewed steps of city inspection and when I should here from city hall. I had an appointment window of 8-12. He arrived at 9:30 and was done by 11:30. Products look nice, pipes look shiny. Very happy with their service! ***I second T.S.'s review before( 12/2017).

This company said they pulled a permit, but when I called the city days after the work was done I learned that they in fact did not pull a permit. That was months ago. Update to today, I got a call from Urban Pine saying that the city I live in had called them and they need to come back to my house regarding the install of my water heater. I called my city inspector and was told that the city never called them - that it must have been the State of Minnesota - that Urban Pin is under investigation for not following code/rules of the State. That's it in a nut shell - beware of this company. Save yourself some headaches and don't go through Center Point Energy to get a water heater and don't hire Urban Pine.

We were told of other components that were in need of replacement at a substantial additional cost. The Lifetime Warranty on the springs is only honored if you accept the additional suggested repairs. There is a flat charge if you decide not to use their services so you are in essence paying for the estimate. In all fairness,I believe the workers are well trained and competent but the companies businesses model and upselling of service makes me question the value.

Only 4 stars because while on the phone I asked a price for spring replacements to which I was told they range from about $94-394 per spring and they usually replace both at the same time. I was shocked when the technician showed up, did his inspection (he was very professional and knowledgeable), and then informed me they only have one spring available which happens to the be one at the top of the price range and there were no other options. He gave me quotes ranging from $900 up to $1900 for other various improvements. I was disappointed because I know pricing for this fix can be much lower but was in a pinch to get it fixed today and also didn't want to build the $85 service fee into potentially having someone else come look at it. Again, the service is great and the people are friendly but shop around if you have the time because I feel like I was mislead into having options when really there were none.

When Rusco went under, Joe from Stoneworx reached out to me to let me know that if I had any issues (which I don't, after two months) I could connect with them directly. Chuck Lowe, the owner of Minnesota Roofing Company started a roofing company called Dura Guard…read moreRoofing in Florida. They completed my shingle re-roof at the end of July 2026. They never issued me a Final Waiver of Lien or Warranty documents, even after multiple requests. Today I received a bill from the dumpster people, saying Chuck Lowe had not paid them, and I have to pay them or they will lien my home. Turns out, Chuck filed for dissolution of Dura Gaurd on August 11, 2026. I have been told that at least 7 other homeowners are receiving bills from unpaid vendors. Plus, they did an awful job on the roof. Some of the shingles don't even project over the drip edge, so rainwater gets under the shingles and runs down the fascia, which will soon start to rot. Buyer beware - there is no integrity with Chuck Lowe. NONE! Plus, I will not be surprised if I receive invoices from other unpaid vendors.

Someone came out to look at the job, and while that person was at the house, we asked for a quote on some additional exterior work not covered by insurance. After a few rounds of contract modifications, the company ultimately never followed up, not even to say they didn't want the job. The second experience happened this year. After another hailstorm, a lot of roofing companies wanted to inspect our roof. Almost all honored our response of 'No' - except MN Roofing. I have received multiple text messages from different representatives of the company asking the same question - do I want the roof inspected? I either ignore the text or say 'No'. I try blocking the number and reporting it as spam. And I STILL get another text message from someone else at the company. Extraordinarily annoying. If they don't honor a potential customer's response, will they listen to the customer's requests once a job is started?
