Beware! Plugz did a great job. I never had a problem getting ahold of them until the work was done. Now it seems like they disappeared into the abyss. It's been 2 months since the work was finished and the inspector still hasn't been here and all I want to know is when the inspector will be here??? Or has he been here and they never knocked on my door??? I've left a message with whoever answers their phone and 2 email messages. Where are they? Update, they finally got ahold of me and low & behold they made an appointment in one week for the inspection. I thank them for that but they should have done that two months ago when the work was completed. read more

I had an overhead kitchen light fixture that wouldn't turn on from a 3-gang dimmable light switch, even after changing the bulb to an LED dimmable one. The company sent out a supposedly trained technician (at no initial cost) who showed me with a light meter that two of the wires in the gang had power, while the one to the overhead light did not. His initial estimate was over $400; I requested a lower estimate, and after consulting with his boss, he came down to $378. That seemed very high for work that he thought would take about 10 minutes. I had an independent electrician take a look; he tested the wires in the switch, and said THERE WAS POWER! He then tightened the light bulb in the fixture, and it worked fine. I requested to add a few outlets and a switch. The guy came in and I had to leave so my husband took over. I told the electrician All I are the outlet and switch. He apparently looks at panels, fans, other lights to install. The quote was 23,000. I called and expressed my frustration. I told them we had other electricians in and were told the panels were fine even though they were not evenly distributed between the 2 panels. Plugz told me the other electricians didn't know what they were talking about. I was done talking. They were clearly on a fishing expedition to get as much service out of us as they could. My husband felt like he was looking for everything they could do. I Would not contact them again. read more

I called last week, was given an appointment time at my home for today between noon and four. Took a half a day off work and made it home by noon. At 2:30 I got a call saying they couldn't send anyone today, and asked if I wanted to reschedule. I can't afford to take another half a day off work on a chance someone might show up. read more
