Danielle and Gail were incredibly helpful in designing the perfect shades for a pair of unusual…read morelamps. When I began the process with Fenchel Shades, I didn't think ordering lampshades would be challenging, but it turns out, there's more to properly fitting lamp shades than meets the eye. First, Danielle sent swatches of shade colors so I could best match with wall color and room decor. Then, I sent pictures of the lamps with measurements so they could suggest a style and size that would work well. I am incredibly appreciative of their time and attention to detail in accommodating my order. I highly recommend Wisconsin Lighting and Fenchel Shades for your lighting needs.

The lampshade on my desk lamp (bronze and sculpted in China, with lampshade no doubt also from…read moreChina) needed replacement as the interior fabric had wear-torn after 45 years. I called Fenchel and got top rate assistance in sizing the lampshade. I then tried to describe the outer material, and Fenchel Customer Service assisted me in finding a material (they have hundreds). The price seemed very fair, and I was told that it would take 3-4 weeks. That was classic undersell. After 1 week, I was notified that my lampshade was finished, and was en route. I just got it, and I am thoroughly delighted. There is no way I could have found what I wanted, with it's odd dimensions, and I live in a very metropolitan area. And I got what I wanted, 2 weeks ahead of schedule, and perfect in every detail.

I happily joined to live vicariously through her life successes. And damn! I was blown away by how many beautiful fixtures there are! There was so much that was beyond my imagination. There were modern, vintage, mid-century, and luxury lights. Our style is mid-century modern, and we picked out a few that fit that aesthetic. Though, I would say there were just a few lights in the style. They were also somewhat limited on lighted overhead fan choices. But the best part was the customer service. We were able to build a "wish list" with an associate, where every item that piqued our interested was populated under her new account. There, you can review all of the details and customizations (like color, type of lighting, finish etc). There also seemed to be a lot on sale which was a treat!
