Genuinely some of the best people we have had the pleasure of hiring to work on our house…read more Youngcastle Bathrooms are super responsive and great communicators. Also, Dimitri is the best. He went above and beyond and is extremely knowledgeable without trying to get you spend extra money. He was always on time too and is extremely thorough. I'd hire him again in a heartbeat. Our project took three weeks to complete, and it was incredible how non-invasive and clean Dimitri was, even through snowstorms. Plus, he was great/considerate with pets.

We were very happy with our experience with YoungCastle Bathrooms and would recommend this company…read moreto anyone thinking about a bathroom project. Starting with the bid process, Dimitri showed up on time, was respectful, and spent the time he needed to measure and clearly document the project. After the proposal was ready, he stopped by and went through every item in detail - the work breakdown for demolition, carpentry, plumbing, tile work, and other optional labor work. Everything was clearly spelled out, and Dmitri answered all of our questions. Our project lasted three weeks. He was on time every day - not a minute late. He would always spend a few minutes every morning going through his plan for the day, reviewing any change requests, and answering questions. The path to the work area was covered and taped with tarps; every single item that needed to be preserved was wrapped and taped with plastic. Entrances to the nearby bedrooms were covered (and the plastic was removed at the end of each day). The mirror and the vanity in the bathroom were properly protected. We were very impressed with his attention to detail. The quality of Dimitri's work was superb. As he was laying down the tiles, he took the time to make sure no tiles with repeating patterns were next to each other, and made sure the tiles were from the same lot. He inspected the new bathtub for defects. He was very conscious about how the project work would inconvenience us (we are all working from home) and he made sure we had plenty of advance notice before the water needed to be shut off for plumbing work. As part of the project, he also took hundreds of pictures to document the process. When you're looking for a contractor, you want someone who has excellent skills, is dependable, responsible, and pays attention to detail. You will be happy with YoungCastle Bathrooms.

I would not recommend Dupont Decks based on my experience…read more I invested nearly $55,000 in a custom deck, including paying thousands of dollars extra for the structural requirements necessary to support a future four-season porch. That future porch wasn't just a verbal discussion--it was specifically included in my contract and was a major reason I chose this company. Unfortunately, the workmanship has been disappointing from the beginning. The deck boards are uneven and improperly installed, allowing water to pool and collect against the house. There are noticeable gaps in trim and wrapping, the stairs have settled and developed a dip that has caused the railing to bow, and even the stair lights have begun pulling out because of the movement. Whenever I raised concerns, I was repeatedly told everything looked fine or that I needed to wait over a year for the deck to "settle." When the problems continued, the responsibility shifted to me instead of the workmanship. The most disappointing discovery came later. I recently learned that the deck did not pass the county requirements for supporting the future four-season porch that was included in my contract. I now have to spend thousands of additional dollars correcting work that should have been completed properly from the start. What frustrates me most isn't that problems occurred--construction projects can have issues. It's the unwillingness to accept responsibility and the repeated attempts to explain away legitimate concerns rather than deliver the quality and contractual obligations I paid for. For such a significant investment, I expected quality craftsmanship, attention to detail, and a company that would stand behind its work. Instead, I was left with ongoing workmanship issues, additional unexpected expenses, and a deck that has fallen well short of what was promised. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Dupont Decks.

We were so pleased with the front yard that we got a quote and had him do the backyard as well. We experienced good communication, thorough follow-up, very friendly service (not just from Dallas but the crew), and very conscientious and collaborative work ensuring we'd be happy with the finished projects.
