I'm not much of a car guru, but I did know I was extremely over priced. So I started looking for another mechanic to take it too, and was referred to Reyes Auto. Fast forward to today, wake up to find my car will not start at all. I called Daniel at Reyes and he immediately came to my house, jumped my car, AND drove it to the shop. Got it checked out and quoted me $1500 LESS than what Toyota did. Not only was Daniel, and his staff, extremely helpful, they got my car done immediately and communicated with me throughout the whole process. Thank you so much Reyes Auto for your work! WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!

My car came out of the shop worse than what I took in. I had to take my car to another automotive shop to find out all the work they claimed to do was never done. I tried to get atleast a refund on labor for my car, since again the work was never done. They basically laughed in my face and told me they did all the work and would only replace the part since it was still under Warranty. Why would I take my car back to them? I trusted them once to fix my car, I would never make that mistake again

They credited the diagnosis fee to the service performed which is nice. They offer a decent warranty on their work. They are also flexible to offer parts options to help lower the total cost of repair. They say all of their techs have senior experience, and they were able to get my car in quickly- some other garages have wait times of up to a week. I checked their hourly rates, they are in line with other garages I have used in the past. They seem to have a very smooth and efficient system set up, they handle a lot of cars with the large garage space they have, and they do a good job communicating and providing updates. Convenient location for South Austin customers. They even sent me a follow up message after the repair- that was a first for me! I would recommend this garage for service and repair work.

Hopefully you find a good quality mechanic with fair prices, transparent with their findings, and can work in a timely manner. Auto Tek checks all those boxes. We took my son's 2012 Honda Civic for a maintenance visit. They found several things that needed attention (battery, brakes, bearings, etc.) Twenty two year olds can be responsible, but they don't always recognize when there's a weird noise, or the alignment is off. We got 2 pages of repairs done and it was a little under 3K. Yep, it's a lot, but still less than buying a new car and he will get a couple more years out of this car.
