This service does not exist. It's a dude with an SUV who decides if and when he will show up. Do not attempt to use.

Annapolis transit is the worst I have ever encountered. Ever…read more The routes are so limited as to be almost laughable. Despite being the state capitol, and within half an hour in either direction of the state's largest city and the nation's capitol, there is no easy and direct way to get to either. In order to get to Baltimore, I need to walk downtown and grab the bus, then take it for an hour to get to the light rail (which is 20 minutes away by car) and ride that for another half hour. 90+ minutes by public transit, 30 minutes by car. To get to DC, I need to grab the brown bus and take it to the Dillon bus stop. From there, I can grab a privately run bus to the metro, and from there get into DC. 40 minutes if I drive the whole way, 90 minutes if I drive to the metro, and 3-4 HOURS if I bus the whole way! (not to mention $4 more expensive). I tried riding the new "trolley" buses for the first time today, too. It was more than twenty minutes late (this a bus that only comes ever 45 minutes). When I got on, the driver started screaming epithets at me for not throwing away my empty ceramic coffee mug. When I got off, he yelled at me for not asking for a transfer when I first got on. The seats are almost too narrow for two small people to huddle upon, and once the bus tries to turn you're out of luck-- no hand grips, and those slippery seats will dump you straight onto the floor. In addition to the late, poorly run bus system, there's the lack of good sidewalks and crosswalks in Annapolis. Sidewalks, when they exist at all, tend to be narrow and poorly maintained -- often broken, or studded with telephone poles. Every time I need to tromp a few miles on these awful sidewalks (often having to step into the street to get around permanent obstacles, cars, other pedestrians, or because the sidewalk had just randomly ended) I'm thankful that I'm not in some way handicapped, because damn-- there is no way these sidewalks are accessible to anyone with crutches, a cane, a walker, or a wheelchair. Crosswalks are often hundreds of feet apart, sometimes with stretches of road in between that have no sidewalk or shoulder at all to walk upon. This means either walking in the middle of a busy road or waiting for a pause in traffic in order to dash across. West street is terrible in this fashion. Also, that T-intersection where Forest Hills Ave hits Bay Ridge Ave. Lots of traffic, and half way between an elementary school and a public library... but no sidewalk or crosswalk on the right side of the road. Brilliant. This area is so unfriendly to pedestrians that I'm moving. That's seriously a major part of my impetus to do so. The traffic is too awful to drive between 3pm and 7pm, and all other options are dangerous or inconvenient. I'm tired of being stuck in my house because Annapolis transit authority doesn't give a crap.

Cute blue busses outfitted to look like trolleys whisk tourist up and down Main Street all day…read more Now Main Street is something like a half mile long, so you may be thinking the distance is so sort, who would need to take a bus? That's what I thought. But as you are making your way down Main street, enjoying all the shops and such, you will hear the trolley bus ringing it's little trolley bell, and after an hour or two of this, you too will realize..... you need to ride that trolley. The trolley is free and you can wait for it at one of the marked stops on Main Street, or flag it down. If you park at the lot by the visitor's center and spend the day exploring, you'll end of at the bottom of Main Street; and even though it's only a half mile walk to the lot, you'll see the Trolley and be glad to sit for a minute or two. Take the trolley, you won't be sorry!

The first time we barely had to wait as it was pulling up right as we were walking to the stop. The stops are all clearly marked with signs, so you will know where to wait to catch the trolley. The trolley comes every 10 minutes, which is great, especially considering we went to Annapolis when it was freezing out!

Culdesac Chauffeur Service - Proudly making accommodations for clients in Washington, D.C. and worldwide.

I recently booked with Culdesac Chauffeur and was so pleased with my experience…read more I had not seen my sister since pre-pandemic. Once everyone in my family was fully vaccinated, we began to plan the long awaited reunion. Since I wasn't entirely sure of her schedule, I wasn't able to book until the day before we needed the driver so I was very happy that Culdesac was able to accommodate. From my initial phone inquiry until our drop off, every interaction with the business was professional. During my first phone call, I was able to book a driver for 5 hours to take us to a winery in Virginia. The winery is located over an hour away, so it was nice to be able to relax and not worry about driving. Everything was pretty seamless. Our driver (Rachid) was so professional and even arrived a few minutes early. He was a safe driver, kind and accommodating despite the non-stop storytelling and giggling between me, my sister and a childhood friend throughout the entire ride. Their pricing was upfront and pretty in line with quotes that I received from other businesses as well (and pricing was pretty transparent which I appreciate!) Thank you Culdesac for helping us make a very special weekend, safe and stress free.

A group of us was visiting Washington, DC for a hockey road trip…read more Two months prior to my trip, I emailed Culdesac, along with 2 other competitors for a price quote. Culdesac not only contacted me the same day, but they were the only ones who provided me with any form of communication, and I've yet to hear back from the other 2 companies. That alone catapulted Culdesac to 5 star status in my book! I had 11 people in my group and was suggested a 14 passenger Mercedes Sprint Van, picking up from IAD to downtown Washington for $275, which included tax and gratuity. I believe I spoke to Sammy, who was very helpful and friendly. Fast forward to February... The day before our trip, Sammy called me to reconfirm, and sent me our driver's name and number. A hiccup happened to our trip, and I sent Derek a text to come to the airport earlier than we agreed upon. Culdesac called to verify we needed an earlier pickup, Derek kept me in the loop of his transit time, and he came to the spot we told him we were at. Super professional! We decided to use Culdesac to take us back to the airport. Again the day before, I got a call and email reconfirming my pickup at 1:30 pm. We were told that Derek was going to take us back, but unfortunately a hiccup occured where his appointment was going to run over, so Derek texted me that someone else will pick us up, and not to worry. A few minutes after the text, Culdesac called me to say Derek was being replaced by Sam, and they texted me his number. Sam arrived at 1:15 in a 20 passenger van, just as nice as the Mercedes Sprinter, and even newer! It was also handicapped accessible, which was a good thing to remember if someone was disabled. He was just as courteous and got us to the airport safely and quickly. I honestly believe this company deserves 5 stars. They were professional, easy to get a hold of via email and phone, and communicated with me from start to finish. They charged my card after the service was completed, and the tip and tax was included in the fee. I would gladly use them again if I am back in the DC area.
