We had another local fence company come out and give us a quote on a wood fence we wanted. The price was reasonable, they had good reviews, and the pictures we saw of their work looked good. I had some follow up questions after they delivered the quote and I never heard back from them. A week later we call Magnolia and they had someone come and talk to us the next day. We received the quote a day later and at that time I also looked at their Facebook or maybe their website and saw a fence they built that we really liked. I email them and i get a response within the same day. We of course still have a lot of questions so Robert, the owner, comes out to the house to talk to us. He genuinely seems excited to be putting up the fence we want. He was able to fit us in during the busy holiday season and the fence was up about a week later. His guys were great also. Nice, friendly, professional. They kept us informed, if there was a decision to make they kept us in the loop. We love the way it all turned out. Also, the quote they originally gave us for the wood fence was lower than the other fence company. As much as we wanted to save money on the wood fence we just couldn't pass up the iron fence that we saw. The photos don't do it justice.

This is the first part of two reviews. I'll do the follow-up roof after Stevan's crews come to my…read morehouse and correct their mistakes. On a five star review I would rate this company as a 2. I like the fact Stevan himself came to my family's home and did a good job estimating the project at no coast. We worked together and met as a price. He drew up the contract, I signed it and gave him half of the money up front. The project date was set and I felt optimistic hiring them to do the work. The morning the work was to begin, I waited for Steven's crews. At 9:00 AM an eighteen wheel pulls up to my house and unloads the material in my yard. This was on a Thursday. At 10:30AM, Stevan's crews had not arrived. I called the project Forman and he was very apologetic saying they had cancel the project for Thursday the day before due to the possibility of bad weather. He apologized due to not contacting me regarding them canceling. I was furious. I had canceled work for that day to be there for the roof replacement. I called Stevan and requested we cancel the contract. At this point I didn't feel optimistic about this contractor. I let Stevan talk me into moving forward on the contract and we set a date for the following Monday with the promise that he would personally supervise the project. I told him I was flying to New York and I wouldn't be there on Monday. He assured me he would take pictures and I would be happy with their work. Monday---the day of the project. The workers showed up and went to work. The Forman called me and I tried talking to him but there was a huge language barrier. Stevan sent pictures to my wife and she forwarded them to me. They did a good job but not a professional job. Their quality control is terrible. I hired them to replace the roof, some decking, a lot of the facia boards, drip edge, a section of soffit, and two new boots and turbine, as well as flashing where needed. They finished the job in one day. The roof is now new. They replaced the turbine-new. They did not install the two new boots. The flashing they installed looks terrible and there's areas that need flashing that got over looked. The facia boards will have to be replaced do to poor installation and poor quality control. There's areas of the drip edge that will need adjusting due to being flared upward. This project consist of a hip roof and two sections of flat roof. The flat roof was to get a commercial grade rolled roof. The hip roof was to get shingles. My wife and I spoke with Stevan regarding the color-match of the two. Stevan assures is the colors would match. Well, they don't. Not even close. I am still in New York and have yet to see the roof in person. I spoke with Stevan regarding the above issues and he became offensive saying he felt as if I were "attacking him", and he mentioned they had done extra work and didn't request payment for the extras. Completely unprofessional. I explained to him that I have a right to expect a job well done, and making excuses is not professional. I also reminded him the terms of the contract in respect to additional work: he would contact me and we would come to an agreement. Stevan has assured me that he will have someone at my house next Monday to fix the above problems. He did however say the electrical riser will not get the promised (in the contract) boot due to his worker not feeling safe with the installation, despite the pre-contract talk with Stevan assuring me there would not be any problem with the installation. He even went as far as to explain how the install it. Again, I will do a second part to this review after the corrections have been made. I may do an additional review after seeing the job in person. Hopefully it'll be a better review.

Buyer Beware! They…read moredid the fence between myself and the rear neighbor for $1,500 for 55' of fence at about $27 per foot in 2017 which was expensive even for that time. This was not new fence either but it was extending the fence posts 3' higher. They quoted me $950 for 20' of fence at $47.50 per foot in October of 2021. They claimed smaller jobs are more expensive and prices went up. That's REDICULOUS claiming prices went up almost double in 4 years. The wood crisis has gone down people! So I did the job myself, see attached pictures. It's not perfect but lightyears better than before. It also only cost me $600 to buy all the parts and rent the tools at Lowes. Sure it took me longer but It's better than being taken advantage of by these guys. I calculated their business expenses would only be approximately $350 and they wanted an almost 300% markup.
