Beware of CT Dental! They offer a "special" for a cheap annual cleaning- what you pay for is what you get. $200 and they only polished my teeth. After having the 15 minute "cleaning" by Dr. Young H. No, he moved on to his next patient without speaking to me. He left his assistant to explain to me that I needed four crowns and probably a root canal or two. They also explained I would need to do this as soon as possible. I'm so glad I sought a second opinion. My new dentist told me that I only need new fillings because the old ones are well, old. He also said that there is no emergency, and that my teeth aren't in bad shape. I had been worrying since I went to CT Dental in April (it's now June) that I needed extensive work and probably root canals. There's no need to make patients anxious in order to make money. My new dentist also explained that whenever anyone gets crowns, they're almost guaranteed to need a root canal or two- and that's how they get the big money off of you. Furthermore, the X-Rays that CT Dental emailed to my new dentist were in the wrong format and they couldn't be bothered to send the correct format. My new dental hygienist showed me that in the X-ray from CT Dental, there was tartar on my back molar. She showed me that this tartar is still on my teeth, and that is after the 15 minute "cleaning" they gave me, which was basically just polishing. read more

Terrible customer service, the front desk is highly unprofessional in a lot of aspects. Do not come here unless you want to have to call multiple times and have them place you on hold for an hour. There are a lot of other options for dental. Front desk experience should be a pleasant experiences for patients and when you go to an office where the front desk isn't the nicest to interact, it ruins the experiences for the patient! I met Dr No in 7/22 when my insurance changed. The office is smaller than what I was used to in comparison to prior dentist but very convenient to my residence. I read the reviews before I selected him but I went with an open mind. Yes, he doesn't talk much and was quick with teeth cleaning. I saw someone complained about that but he did the 3 steps with me after asking me if anything was bothering me. He checked, cleaned each of my tooth and final step was brushing with fluoride. I checked my teeth afterward and not much different from the 9 minutes cleaning I received from prior dentists. I was impressed that Dr No was able to tell me reason for my toothache. I had the problem since 2019 and my prior dentist did extra out of pocket cost X-rays but never could tell me the reason. Dr No was amazing as it didn't take him a minute, seriously and told me my problem. I was scare since it was like major work and I never had problem with my teeth before. He explained the process but I freaked out already so I couldn't hear anything. He has 2 assistants who were very kind and gentle. I had follow up work done and went back 3x. My tooth doesn't hurt anymore and all I remember is how supportive Dr No and his staff were. Dr No is a man of few words but he is experienced so he gets the work done quicker. So don't panic when teeth cleaning is only 5 minutes. Finally, what I was most impressed about Dr No and his staff is their honesty. I wanted teeth whitening and he told me reason why it may not help me, that I should try over counter whitening strips first before I waste money. His assistant explained the reason further. He's is my favorite dentist ever. He is cool! He doesn't talks much but he's great at dental work. Love to see him. He's fast on prophet (cleaning) but he never brings sore to my gum. NEVER GO HERE unless you want to start wearing DENTURES EARLY, and if you must, by all means welcome. I currently have to pay out of pocket $3k+ for a ct scan, bone graph, and implant thanks to this place. I use to go here for years when I was younger. I had a crown done and Dr. Young had the audacity to send me off. As I was leaving, I kept feeling something sharp on the crown that kept stabbing my tongue. I walked out only to walk back in 5minutes later and ask him to fix it. Turns out that ape let me walk out with a faulty made crown and he told me he'll redo do it. As if his eyes had selective sight and suddenly could see after I came back. Fast forwards a few weeks I get another crown placed and the doctor legit got off his chair and had to jump down and FORCE down the crown on; pushing my jaw to the gutter. He legit made the crown into a "I'm going to make the crown fit class". Throughout the whole appointment the doctor smelled like cigarettes and his temperament was an angry grown man throwing a tantrum that he had to see patients that day. His attitude was terrible that whole appointment and he didn't even hide it. I was a loyal patient and had been seeing him for a while prior to this incident and I gave him a pass because I was late and I thought he was just going through a tough event or etc at that time. Time skip a handful of years later my crown FELL off and I went back and he told me I needed an extraction and implant?!? At that time I didn't have money and after inquiring about the possibility of recementing the crown, he gave the okay and informed me I had to come back for the extraction and implant and I said I understood. Fast forward not that long after, I find myself back here at this dental vulturing office again. My gums were swollen and a large chunk of my gums was protruding out. After the exam, I asked "what was the cause of this?" He said it was because "the cement was not cleaned off properly and caused this issue" He cleaned the excess cement from the crown and sure enough, the swelling went down. At that time I should've sued him. It's the DENTISTS job to check that the crown isn't faulty before the patient is sent off. It's the DENTISTS job to check that the crown restoration fits onto the tooth. A standard crown is expected to prolong the tooth by 10+ years, not a prematurely extracted tooth. The "healthcare service" I received from here is no better then giving an ape dental instruments proudly pounding his chest and calling it dentistry. read more

Was surprised to find out a good dentist who accepts my insurance and did my x ray cleaning. The office is very clean and new , staff is very polite, patient and pleasing . What can I say about doctor Young H. No ... Very educated , focused and informative. He is into what he is doing, detailed. He told me things about my teeth that I didn't know myself and previous dentist never told me. He does all range of dentistry . He offered me two ways of procedures in my case. I've always been frightened at the thought of visiting the dentist but I'm confident to say that this was one of the best experience I ever had at the dentist. :) It was easy to make an appointment and the waiting/registration process was a breeze. Even though I wasn't treated by Dr. Young No, Dr. Vincent Fung was extremely helpful. He was attentive to my concerns and my problematic teeth. In addition, he was informative on my treatment plan and coverage/payment details. The staff are great too! They saw that I was nervous and eased my anxiety with simple small talk. Plus, new patients get to leave with a goodie bag! Haha! Felt like a kid again. I'll definately be making a follow-up appointment soon to follow on the treatment plan. I'm not sure why most of people are giving five stars. This was absolute my worst dental experience in New York. Yes the dentist is not talkative, but this is the most violent dental visit I ever had. The dentist kept stuffing tools in my mouth without caring I was terrified already. The cleaning part was fast but they kept me waiting for over 30min before the dentist even showed up to do cleaning. This is type of dentist that makes people scared of any dental visit. read more

Dr. No is so awesome. I had a couple of long term issues that I needed to take care of but really, who wants to go to the dentist? I took the plunge and found someone who takes my insurance and it was great! He made the procedures as painless as possible but is still extremely thorough. Dr. No is the best dentist I've been to. He doesn't talk much but who wants a talkative dentist? I'd much rather that my dentist concentrate on getting to know my teeth instead of getting to know me. He just grunts and asks if you are in pain. If you are, he will give you more anesthetic to make sure you are comfortable. Most importantly, his work is outstanding. I don't think anyone would ever want to have a dentist appointment especially for someone who has sensitive gums like me. I came for Dr.No SPECIFICALLY because of all the good reviews from my friends and families. Dr.No is a very very cool and wonderful dentist. This was the first time i left a a dentist office without bleeding and sensitive gums after a cleaning. Dr.No was straight to the point with his professional skills. I came to the office two weeks later for a wisdom tooth extraction. Dr.No did the extraction even before I feel any pain or pressure. He was just so damn goooood! It was scary to me before the extraction. But the whole process took even less than 15 minutes and pain free. Dr.No is so awesome! The staffs in the office are very friendly as well!!
