Young Flowers is AMAZING! I stopped by there this morning at 8 AM right when they opened to get 4 arrangements for the office building I work in and needed them like yesterday. honestly, their supply is limited. They really have no range in their bouqets. 99% of the time they will only do orchids and their starting price is $35 for a small arrangement with 1 orchid. Head down to the market a couple of blocks and get your moneys worth, 1 bunch for $10...yes please!! I wish we could use them more but they really are not very helpful or flexible. I ordered a bridal bouquet (long distance from Virginia) over the phone to be delivered to a near by hotel. After looking at photos from their website, I called and spoke with a very pleasant & helpful gentleman. He made sure to inquire about color, style, and price range. He even made sure that when calculating the total, it included both the delivery charge to the hotel and Seattle taxes. They were delivered on time. My sister was thrilled. I received my yearly birthday tropical bouquet yesterday morning from my partner, Doug. As usual the flowers and arrangement were spectacular! After checking out all the cool and unusual flowers in the bouquet I noticed that a couple of the orchid sprays were a bit wilted and looked like they wouldn't last but a couple of days. I mentioned this to Doug and he called the florist to let them know. I would have been fine keeping the bouquet - I could overlook the limp orchids. Not 10 minutes later I received a call from the owner, Mark Young, personally apologizing for substandard orchids. He explained the "Red Dragon" orchids should last quit a while and insisted on having a new bouquet delivered as he didn't want me to be without my flowers while another arrangement was designed! A couple of hours later an equally spectacular bouquet was delivered. This is how to do business. This is why we use Young Flowers and would/will recommend them to anyone!!! I stopped in on my lunch break in hopes of finding an office plant for a friend's birthday. I mentioned that I had a container that could be used for a terrarium and 10 minutes later I had all of the materials necessary to build a terrarium that afternoon (including 2 beautiful little plants, lovely green moss, 2 different types of rocks, and a bag of soil). No need to schlep that stuff from home on the bus to put it together. I was impressed with the selection of plants and the staff's ability to pull everything together without batting an eye. I'd never been to Young Flowers before, despite walking by every day for the last 3 years, but after today's experience, I'll definitely be back. read more

My husband and I wanted to order flowers for our daughter in Seattle (we are on the east coast) after her surgery and we called Young Flowers and they were very accommodating. They didn't deliver on Saturdays, but one of their employees, Laura (Thanks Laura!), offered to deliver it herself to the hospital. Very disappointed. Ordered flowers for my husband's birthday today to be delivered downtown. Received a picture and was underwhelmed. Very uninspired flower bouquet of calla lilies (which I did request) with some leftover looking sticks. From the gallery pictures I was expecting something more elegant for a $40 order. Did get a full refund but will not be going there again. Didn't seem like they put much inspiration or joy into this flower design and am truly disappointed. read more

I originally had gone to Seattle Flowers at 600 2nd Ave, & was treated horribly. The woman working the morning of 08/14/2014 said NOTHING, shooting me a condescending look, turned to lock the front door, & walked away with a little dog, as I arrived but had not yet entered. I have walked by this store countless times but have never paid much notice to it. Then mother's day was approaching and I was looking to get some nice flowers for my mom. I was originally going to go with a more generic flower company but I am so glad that I did not. All I told them was the I wanted spring colors and a tall arrangement with the leaves wrapped around the vase and they took care of the rest. I put my faith in them because of how great their arrangements on their website looked and they did not disappoint. What the pictures can not convey is how **nicely fragrant** their roses are, the pink roses they gave me filled my entire car with the greatest scent. Also, the awesome smell does not go away, it has been a week...if anything they only continue to get better. Parking for Seattle was easy too, park at the Central Library where parking is free for under 20 minutes and walk a block down where you will quickly find their store at the corner. read more

A family friend had decided to marry suddenly and I was disappointingly unable to attend the event due to travel plans. Wanting to be a part of the event despite inability to be there personally, the Bride was happy to allow me to arrange for her bouquet, with no restrictions as to color, size, etc. I knew it had to be something non-traditional. Unique. Chic. I really had no clue what that meant when it came to specific flowers. I had had an absolutely horrible experience with Lawrence the Florist in Bellevue not long before and was very nervous about finding a new florist and being sure they would follow through on the order, as agreed upon. I went to Yelp and read some of the reviews of Young Flowers and went in and spoke to the florists there. They understood what was wanted, gave some brilliant color and flower suggestions, took my credit card info and assured me it would be ready at the determined date and time. They were as good as their word. When I was sent pictures of the bouquet I was completely thrilled to see that it was exactly what we had agreed on weeks earlier - absolutely perfect! The bride really loved it! The flowers were fresh, gorgeous, bright and artistically arranged - not your run of the mill bridal bouquet at all.
