I previously had the same surgery on my right foot with a different orthopedic surgeon, and the recovery was extremely long and painful. Because of that experience, I was honestly nervous going into this procedure. However, Dr. Schipper completely changed my expectations. I experienced minimal pain and very little swelling, and the healing process was fast and smooth. The incision work was excellent -- only three small incisions that healed beautifully. The difference in recovery compared to my prior surgery was night and day. Dr. Schipper is not only highly skilled but also very kind and reassuring. He takes time to explain everything and makes you feel prepared and comfortable before surgery. The office staff is also wonderful -- responsive, organized, and supportive throughout the entire process. You can truly tell he is very experienced in this procedure. I've even referred people I know to him, and they've had great outcomes as well. If I ever needed this surgery again, I would choose Dr. Schipper without hesitation. I highly recommend him. Terry

But Dr…read more Michelle Goto at Solutions Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine in Arlington, VA ranks for me as the absolute best. She takes a kind, personal interest in tailoring PT to your body's particular needs. Under Michele's careful watch, I can do PT exercises now that I couldn't physically do before. Importantly for me, I can now make a full swing of a golf club that wasn't previously possible. Under Michelle's PT specific plan for me, among other things, it made playing golf a pleasure once again when before I had a lot of pain. I should also mention I can now go back to doing normal household chores such as lifting a bag of groceries and vacuuming the rug, as well as walking a greater distance without physical discomfort. I give Michelle a perfect 5 star rating out of 5. Without any doubt, she's the best person I can recommend for anyone needing PT. I feel lucky that my regular GP recommended I do my PT at Solutions Physical Therapy in Arlington, VA.--Eric Green

Two weeks after that i still havent received a call that it was ready for pickup so I call them. Come to find out these idiots forgot to order my knee brace and it would take an additional week. So a brace that i needed for recovery took an extra two weeks not bc of shipping but bc these guys cant do their job properly and forgot to hit the order button on their computers lmao. Mind you this brace costs around 1600$.

This review is entirely based on the practice fleecing me for a wrist brace. The care provided by…read moreDr. Hubbard was great. Here's what happened: The doctor said my daughter needed a brace. A technician appeared in the room with a brace and said not to worry, it would be covered by insurance. Now, a word about this brace: The exact same make and model is available online at multiple sites for about $30. It's a pretty standard stiff nylon and Velcro brace. A few weeks after the office visit, I received a bill for $89.02. Insurance paid the other half of the cost, not the full cost as the technician led me to believe. It's actually even worse: The practice sought to bill insurance $802.86 for the brace. The bill was reduced to the insurance contract amount of $178.04. I was told it would be covered and never informed of the list price. Plus, it's just offensive they would charge so much for a brace that others sell for $30. When I called the practice to discuss this, I waited on hold for 20 minutes and then was disconnected. I had to call back, wait again, and get transferred between multiple people who said there was nothing they could do about it. They blamed insurance for setting the reimbursement price. This is not how to treat patients. This is deceptive and an outrageous money grab. UPDATE: After no fewer than 10 calls to the practice, I finally reached a supervisor who agreed to drop the $89.02 charge. I appreciate the final decision but it was painful getting to this point.

5-Star Review for Full Strength Physical Therapy (formerly Solutions PT), Arlington, Va…read more I can't say enough wonderful things about Full Strength Physical Therapy and especially Andy and Danny. From the moment you walk in, you feel welcomed into a clean, comfortable, and supportive environment with a genuinely caring team. Andy and Danny are incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and compassionate. They truly listen--something that means so much when you're dealing with chronic pain and multiple health challenges. I've been treated for back and neck stenosis, knee issues from a torn meniscus, and ongoing pain, and they have been patient, thoughtful, and determined every step of the way. What really stands out is how much they care about your progress. They take the time to tailor exercises specifically to your needs and clearly explain how to do them at home, which has made a huge difference in my recovery. Their combination of hands-on therapy and targeted exercises has helped improve my mobility, balance, and strength--and most importantly, reduced my pain so I can finally rest better. The entire staff is friendly, helpful, and incredibly professional. There's a strong sense that everyone is invested in helping you achieve your goals. Convenient location with easy parking is just the icing on the cake. I'm so grateful to have found them--this team has truly made a meaningful, life-changing impact on my quality of life. Highly recommend!

I was referred from my doctor to go to Solutions PT because of a sports injury that made me lose…read moremost of my mobility on my shoulder. I had an initial consultation with Natalie, who was fairly new to the establishment at the time. Natalie is extremely knowledgeable, motivated, and approachable when it comes to this practice. She measured my range of motion and checked my strength and saw that both were very limited. I ended up going to PT twice a week and worked with Natalie during the first half of every session, and then the second half would mostly be done with those who assist with the actual exercises. Natalie's soft tissue work is incredible- don't let her petite frame fool you! She is a boss when it comes to making your muscles cry and then feel much better during the week. She's always considerate and asks if anything is painful and if so, she's always quick to dial her strength back! I've also worked with Anthony and Kyler. Both have been such a joy to work with- they really keep the operation going and are great at demonstrating each of the exercises. They are not only knowledgeable, they are approachable, and have great senses of humor. Today was my last session after a few months of PT. I will say, as a patient, you should always be consistent with the exercises you are given. I felt like I improved immensely in a short amount of time, but I also tried to dedicate 30 minutes to an hour each day to do all the exercises I was given by Natalie. That's another thing to note- Natalie is continuously researching and learning new exercises and will have you try them. She's very dynamic in her methodology when creating an exercise plan for you, so nothing stays stagnant. While I'm so happy that I have full range of motion back, I am so sad to be leaving Solutions. I'm going to miss Natalie, and the team very much. I would wholeheartedly recommend this establishment to anyone who has any discomfort or pain. There are so many PTs here to choose from and each have their own flair when interacting with patients. I couldn't be happier to have had Natalie as my PT. I know that if I ever feel less than 100%, I would come back to Natalie in a heartbeat. Thank you Natalie, Kyler, Anthony, and the rest of the Solutions Team. Even those at the front desk. I believe that everyone here deserves the utmost recognition. I am genuinely appreciative of all of your help and support throughout my experience with my (former) injury!
