Dr. Musher may not be the friendliest but he is thorough. He went through my blood work with me and made recommendations based on what he saw. He's into the holistic medicine thing which is nice.. too expensive for my budget.. but it's good to see a doctor who realizes the importance of good health from more than just a drug standpoint. After the study that came out last year explaining the benefits of Vitamin D he will most likely make you take some of that (since 99% of people are deficient). I don't know what the health effects (including negative) are but I've been trying to take it when I remember and get more sun. The parking garage is expensive. Dr. Musher engages in unfair and deceptive trade practices in violation of the Maryland Consumer Protection Act and unauthorized release of medical information in violation of HIPAA law. On 6/7/19 I paid $185.00 for an office visit because, although Dr. Musher is a network provider with United Healthcare, he wanted to take enough payment in case I had not met my deductible. On 8/17/19 my wife (under whose name his office staff had mistakenly filed the insurance claim) called and spoke with the office staff about an EOB showing that I was responsible for only $51.23 and that Dr. Musher owed me a refund of $133.77. UnitedHealthcare had informed me that Dr. Musher was paid electronically on 6/26/19 and was in breach of his network-provider contract by failing to refund me within 30 days. The office staff promised a refund within the week. When a refund that did not arrive as promised, my wife called on 9/5/19 and spoke to Dr. Musher himself. Dr. Musher solicited my wife's agreement that I subscribe to his concierge service. Pressuring her, he told her I had health issues for which he had advised follow-up care. His disclosing my private medical information without my authorization violated HIPAA law. Moreover, this high-pressure marketing of a concierge service in an attempt to credit the $133.77 to concierge subscription fees instead of issuing me a refund check was inappropriate, unprofessional, and unfair and deceptive in violation of the Maryland Consumer Protection Act. I received my refund, but only after two telephone requests, one-and-a-half months from the time of the first request, and two-and-a-half months from the time that my health insurance paid Dr. Musher. In sum, Dr. Musher engages in unfair and deceptive trade practices relating to billing and to inappropriate and unprofessional solicitation for his concierge service, as well as unauthorized disclosure of private medical information. I do not recommend this doctor for anyone. read more

I have been to Dr. Musher's office twice and I really do not want to have to go again. I felt completely rushed both times I was in his office and I felt like I could not ask any questions because he was talking so fast and he basically rushed me out of his office. I hadn't been to a family doctor in a few years so I had some questions I wanted to ask and I didn't get to because he was so impatient. I have to go back one more time, but after that I will be looking for a new doctor. read more

Dr. Musher is my mother's physician. I have taken her there several times. It's always a long wait. It shouldn't be because she pays extra money to have him as a physician since he will no longer accept some medical plans without extra patient payment so he has "more time to spend with you". That being said, he does not spend any more time with her than a normal physician would. He rarely looks up from his chart, and almost always addresses comments to me, which I feel is disrespectful to my mother, who is perfectly capable of understanding him. I recently moved to DC and started the dreaded search to find a new primary care physician. I was able to make an appointment at my requested time within two weeks and there was no wait in the office. It seems like they do a really great job of scheduling and aren't just trying to drill through a bunch of appointments. Dr musher took the time to explain his approach and he's not just about fixing illnesses once they happen but about overall preventative measures. I came here as a referral but again only after reading the reviews did I actually make an appointment and I'm happy I did. It's also important to note I'm a slight hypochondriac and him and his office assistant put me at ease and took the time to answer all my questions. Would definitely recommend dr musher for any issues you may be having or just as a primary care physician as well!! read more

Dr. Musher is great! He looks into root causes of problems (not just symptoms) and does not over-prescribe medicine. He is open to more natural and alternative therapies and is interested in holistic and optimal health of his patients. I have been seeing him for over 2 years and am confident in his opinion. When he would like a different opinion or expert to weigh-in, he has given me outstanding referrals for specialists. He checked on me daily when I was hospitalized last year, and although he is very busy and has to come back to the exam room 3 or 4 times (sometimes) he answers all of my questions thoroughly. Dr. Musher has been my Primary Care Physician now for many years. He practices top-notch, cutting-edge medicine and has an excellent bedside manner. He is very perceptive and thorough and after his diagnosis he always takes the time to explain it and answer all of my questions. Additionally, he is outstanding with the follow-up care that he provides as well as teaching how to mitigate risk factors with a focus on wellness, which I truly appreciate. He and his staff are very friendly, efficient and professional and I am seen promptly each time. I saw Dr. Musher for several years But I stopped seeing him after he heavily pressured me to take very expensive nutritional supplements. I could find no research that supported the supplement's claims. I was very uncomfortable with this. He also pressured me to sign up for his concierge service. I thought he was a competent doctor. But his interpersonal skills were not great--no eye contact. On the plus side, he quickly returned phone calls, filled out insurance forms quickly.. His assistant Ann was great! read more

It is my first time to make an appointment and the front desk lady is the worst clerk. Haven't met her in person but she is very unprofessional, I called in to make appointment about a week ago, and I had marked my calendar for 6/26/18 appointment. I get a call on 6/25/18, I picked up my phone thinking it's a reminder for my appointment, turns out she was calling to tell me I was late for my appointment. Went in for a annual check up, got charged $ even though it was fully covered by the insurance but the front desk lady was really rushing to go on her smoke-break, and when I called back to get a reimbursement they told me that they will do so once they get paid by the insurance. Dr. Musher has been my primary care physician for over two years. He is an excellent doctor. His calm office demeanor allows my office visits to be without stress. My blood pressure has never been as low as it is since he has been my doctor. He extremely knowledgeable and very thorough in his discussions of my heath status. Dr. Musher has been my Physician now for over 10 years. I am usually early and they take me right away. The office is very efficient and helpful. I enjoy discussing new options and therapies with Dr. Musher. He is always interested in learning and listening which I find lacking in most offices.
