They recommended a nearby cafe (which was amazing, by the way) and said they would get to it as soon as they could. An hour and a half later, I received a phone call explaining the issue, the actions they took to fix it, and what they recommended for the future. The price was also much less than I was expecting. Speedy service, friendly and helpful staff, and great advice. Highly recommended! I will be using them whenever I am in the St Louis area!

I called, they told me to bring it as soon as I could. Took lunch, went home and jump started the truck, took it to them, and they verified it was the alternator on the spot. Less than 24 hours later they had it done for me, and under the estimated price. They were also less expensive than some of the other estimates I got over the phone. They are super friendly, down to earth, less expensive than other places, very fast (Even though they are always busy), honest and reliable. They have great work ethic. It's awesome knowing I have a very reliable repair shop just a few minutes away. Nader & Sons will be my go to shop when I need repairs from now on.

Whoa this place is awesome!…read more Imagine this scenario: you're visiting St. Louis from Chicago for the weekend. Trips wrapping up Sunday afternoon, you're getting ready to drive home and out of nowhere your brakes start making a truly horrific crunchy sound and stop working. This is perfect as tomorrow's a workday in Chi town and being a Sunday pretty much every car repair place is closed. This exact scenario happened to me and my fiancé today and we were blocks from this Firestone. Suffice it to say they saved the day. Rolled in at 2:30 pm. Car rolling out of the parking lot perfect working order 2 hours later. They kept us totally updated throughout the repair and though it turned out not to be necessary nice bearded dude at the front desk vowed to even stay late if need be to get us safely back on the road. No one likes to get their car fixed and yeah, car repair costs money. But these guys were the real MVPs today. Thanks a lot!

Located…read morenorth of St. Louis University, just behind the Fox Theater, Royal serves as a parking lot for both the school and entertainment venues. It is also an auto repair shop that's been going since the 80's. Jim will diagnose what is wrong with your car, without trying to sell you a thousand other things. He will do whatever he needs to in order to fix it to your satisfaction. Don't want to pay for a new part? He'll find you a comparable one at an area junkyard. His labor prices are the lowest I have seen in the area. The shop does not do safety and emission inspections though. You have to go elsewhere for this. The staff can be a bit gruff at times, however, the service and and thoroughness of work more than make up for it. I highly recommend Royal Auto to anyone in need of auto repairs in St. Louis.
