The gym looks decent at first, but once you start going regularly, you notice the issues. Equipment is often broken or poorly maintained, and it can take forever for anything to get fixed. The cleanliness is inconsistent -- some days it's fine, other days it feels like nobody has wiped anything down. I've been going to this gym for about 7 months now. It's a standard gym. friendly employees. It does get packed at the obvious hours, but other than that it's not too busy. They have everything you would need if you're looking to get in good shape and it's definitely affordable. The only downside to this gym is that sometimes the toilet is clogged and the bathroom isn't always clean, but sometimes that can't be fully controlled. One suggestion I would make would be to add in another squat rack (not smith machine) or another bench press section. read more

Been going to this gym for years. I have the multi club membership with guest but I always go to this location no matter what. The staff is always in a cheerful mood and ready to assist with anything. Vibes are great and gym goers are good considerate people. Don't get me wrong you have some chusmeria come in every now and then but what I love the most about this gym is I always have availability for any machine or workout. This is my go to gym. After switching from LA to work out with my friend as her guest pass I decided to make the change and get my own membership. I've now been a member for about two years now. The staff has always been the friendliest and on my end, I've always received excellent customer service. My biggest suggestion is that it's time to get new stair masters. For the almost two years I've been a member, 4/5 times I come to the gym, there is always AT LEAST one machine that is 'Out Of Service'. As it's one of the most popular machines, I can understand why it may have its issues, but it's always so hard to get a turn. My other suggestion is to consider facing the machines for arms to the mirrors... it's very awkward to be directly facing and making eye contact with someone doing any abs workouts. Also, it might be nice to see your form in the mirrors and not your back. There is always deals and specials on holidays, classes are a hit, although I've never taken one they are always packed. Porky's member since 1997 and have been with YouFit Hammocks since they acquired Porky's a few years ago. First annoying bean counter gimmick they pulled on me a few years ago was not allowing me to pay annual membership in full. You had to give them a credit card. Today I go to provide a current credit card because my last one was compromised and they tell me they no longer take credit cards and that I have to give them a checking account. So first I couldn't pay them in full for a reason no one was able to explain and now I can't pay them with a credit card because of another new ill advised policy. Gym is okay once you get pass dealing with the Barney color scheme. However, corporate is apparently run by morons. Do yourself a favor and find a better gym, one where you can pay, workout, and not be bothered by poorly conceived policies. Be very careful with not only this location but this company as a whole. They like to tout pay as you go but what they don't tell you is that you're committing to a 3 year contract. You have to follow a specific cancellation process to stop it from auto renewal. Good location to workout and gym isn't too packed after 9 pm. I haven't been in the morning but there are plenty of machines to use! Staff requires you to bring a towel to go in. Membership starts at $10 per month and a $40 yearly fee charged in March. If you obtain the lime card, you can bring a guest and have access to unlimited locations. Reason I am giving it a 4 star instead of 5 is because I wish they offered better class times and a massage machines at the gym like the one in westchester. read more

Now bathrooms are always trashed, no toilet paper, no soap, flooded floors. Weights are never racked..good luck finding the Dumbbells you need. And, Dumbbells now stop at 90 lbs. this is not fair to those of us who wish to lift a little more. They need to change the name to "you can only get so fit". So why am I still here? The miller drive gym is no more and is now a cafeteria. I was going to renew since I like working out at 4am and find myself with no other gym open (at that time) in the area moved to. 9/10/16 - Two days in a row and no A/C!!!!! I jouned this gym for the exercise classes. Last Friday, I did the Zumba class. The instructor is new, and she's awesome. The best, I've seen since Gina Melo left about two years ago. Well, I came back today, 9/9/16, and there's no A/C just stifling hot heat. The exercise room is usually hoy (read my previous review, but it is diwnright irresponsible to allow people to work out under these subpar conditions. Youfit, you need to get your act together. My lady and I both force ourselves out of bed early to get a workout in before actual work. We find this gym a very convenient location to use. There is always this one employee with a smile always on his face. He greets and says goodbye to anyone entering or leaving without fail. However, it is quite small in size so later in the day it does get pretty crowded. Once or twice I've shown up to begin my stretching pre-workout and weights have been left everywhere, mats spread around, etc. but I like to think in situations like these that it's not the employees, it's our fellow members. Clean up your mess people, it's not your house. They have a small staff, but their staff is in proportion with the size of the gym. I really wanted to like this gym and I really wanted to become a member. It is super close to my house, and open 24/7. It is definitely priced great. They do have fitness classes, but not convenient with my work schedule. I chose not to become a member because the two times I went, it was very crowded and the machine I want to use was taken. Secondly, this place has a distinct smell that is not pleasant. It definitely needs new carpeting and perhaps deodorizing material. This place is RIDICULOUS. Came in from outta town with a 7 Day Pass. Walked in, dude was on the phone with someone disputing charges on their account, for at least 10 mins. While another guy was just sitting there, clueless. When the guy on the phone finally puts the woman on hold, he says can't he find me in the system and then walks to the back. A random guy comes and asks if I need help & I just stood there confused, because I didn't know if the guy had to run & poop or if he told that guy to come out. Before Youfit took over I had been a Porky's member since 2005, I feel that Youfit took a lot of the machine to workout back that were amazing, with no replacement, huge mistake. I recently went with my mom to sign up to the gym. She was so enthusiastic & ready to start getting back into a healthy life style. She's been making small changes & was ready to step back into the gym which she has found some what intimidating. They scheduled her for an evaluation & I had warned her against it because I know it's mainly a selling point for their trainers. She decided to give it a shot & met with the trainer she was under the impression it would be to help her learn the machines & get acclimated to the gym environment. Wrong. It was an evaluation & then a total mood kill once she sat down with the trainer to talk pricing. She didn't have the money to pay for a trainer that day & he made her feel so bad about it. Telling her that she wasn't truly committed to changing her ways & tossed her papers aside. Since then she's been unmotivated to go back she feels she will bump into him & it'll bring about the same conversation & put her in that awkward position again. I think their selling tactics need SERIOUS help. The trainer could barely properly identify different muscle groups yet had the audacity to put down my mom who was at least trying to get on the right track just not how he wanted for his paycheck. Apart from that for the cost it isn't bad the gym itself is clean, plenty of machines, & the people at the front desk are friendly. read more

But...the stair master....I have been a member for 2 years and there are always 3 stair masters and they are either NEVER EVER WORKING AND ARE "OUT OF SERVICE" or there is only 1 working. I've since joined Planet Fitness nearby since they are open 24 hrs during the weekdays but was still going to Youfit during the weekends since I still had time remaining on my membership. So my membership recently expired and I figured I would renew and perhaps they would give me a break since Matthew P. responded to my last review offering to compensate me for the fact that they abruptly changed their operating hours. Well, Matthew P, if such a person exists lied. The yearly membership is $214.00 for the one club! I wrote to Matthew P and a Gina Ruth replied a confirmed that is the price. I was only going to rejoin because they open earlier on the weekends than Planet Fitness. But at $214.00? I don't think so! Not for that small, run down, dirty, smelly gym. Planet Fitness blows that place away in cleanliness alone, not to mention price. I'll deal with the fact that they open at 7AM instead of 6AM on weekends. I can see why this location is almost a 1 star. In fact I'm only giving it 1 because it's 24 hours operation. But overall it's filthy, unorganized, and it restricts the already small space! They have a "private" coach area. And their sign asks you to ask the front desk for use. I asked them at 11p on a Saturday to use the area. They said "NO ITS PRIVATE" and I asked them "even on a Saturday at 11? There are no coaches even working." They still said no. What a joke man. This location is not accommodating to its customers at all. They have a "no" attitude. One of many examples: I tried to purchase a water, my CC has been hacked twice in less than a month so I wanted to pay as CC and not debit, NO. I can't pay with CC because the machine just doesn't like it. So I can't pay with my Visa and am forced to enter a PIN number. Let's not get started about trainers calling me at 9:30pm to talk about a training session. That is no time to call anyone. read more

I'm going to list the positives and then afterwards the negative. OK so what I do like about this gym is certain machines that are not located in the you fit that I usually go to. Another thing I like is there is a private area for women to work out and I'm not insecure but it's always nice to have that alone feeling instead of having guys staring at you while you're trying to work out your glutes. Other than that I'm gonna have to say that I'm not very thrilled I have seen someone cleaning but I'm not saying that the person is not cleaning well enough I just think they really need to restore everything in that gym including the floors. Certain areas especially have this sent that reminds me just like my dogs food. The machines in the main floor are very cluttered and it's sometimes hard to work out because another machine is so close to the other. The staff are nice and friendly. I just think corporate needs to get more involved with this location and restore it to be the best it could possibly be. To add on there is a area that they do maintain classes but it's unfortunate that if there is no class they don't allow anyone in there and this you fit is pretty small the stretch area is very minimal and it's kind of not fair that no can can enter there. They have equipment in there from a punching bag to ropes to work out your arms and it just be nice if especially I that I paid for the lime card which is 20 dollars a month would have access to that area. I usually go to a youfit that is maybe a few miles away which is a bit further than this one but I rather go to the other one due to the fact that it's very new and updated the bathrooms are always extremely clean it always smells extremely clean and everything is always in tiptop shape. To add on the machines are separated at the perfect space so everyone has their own space while working out. Again nothing personal with the staff at this location or the people, I just think again corporate needs to show some love when it comes to restoration and organize this gym a bit and allow access at least to the people with the lime card membership to enter the area where they hold classes while there is no classes. read more

My husband and I have been going to YOUFIT HEALTH CLUB at 0201 Hammocks Blvd #130,Miami,FL33196 for around 2 years now. Yesterday, May 16, 2018, as usual, my husband went in for his daily workout, I usually join him, but yesterday I could not make it ,he went in with my four year old son. We always drop off my son at the Daycare your fit club provides, we pay for Additional Fee for this aside from our Membership. This Daycare always has a constant change of personnelwhen it comes to the ladies that work in the daycare area. We have never had a problem aside from is NOT THE CLEANEST AREA TO LEAVE YOUR CHILD FOR A FEW HOURS AND THE CHILDREN THAT ARE BEING DROPPED OFF BY THE PARENTS GOING TO WORKOUT ALWAYS SEEM SICK, COUGHING AND HAVE MUCUS COMING OUT OF THEIR NOSES. I was wondering if the people working in the daycare area have any sort of CERTIFICATION or Training? Up until now we have never had a problem. Lately, the new girls are pretty young but very nice and caring. One of the girls name is Nicole the other one is a blonde girl ALSO VERY NICE and SWEET to both parents and children. However YESTERDAY MAY 16TH 2018 around 830 or so at night when my husband was done for the night with his workout and went to pick up my four year old son from the YOUFIT DAYCRE my son had a long (2 inches or so ) and deep scratch on his little wrist. As soon as my husband walked up to the daycare door to pick him up like we always do, my son walked up to my husband complaining about his wrist and showing him he has a deep bloody scratch WHICH I HAVE ATTACHED A PICTURE OF TO THIS MSG/EMAIL. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. The girl was working there, NICOLE, told my husband that she took a break and the YOUFIT manager PAULA ZAMUDIO was covering for her, since my son was the last kid left in the YOUFIT DAYCARE. When my husband approached the manager PAULA ZAMURIO at the front desk, he observed that she was extremely nervous and kept apologizing, she explained to his that she was playing around with him and accidentally scratched him and kept nervously apologizing.After coming home I saw the scratch with my own eyes and it looked like much more than a simple scratch, it seemed too deep, I immediately phoned the gym at around 9 pm and was informed that PAULA ZAMUDIO had already left for the evening, so I left a message for her to call me the following day. TODAY, the next day, MAY 17th 2018, noon I received the call from PAULA ZAMUDIO, she was very RUDE and very defensive, not apologetic at all. One would expect more from Manager of your establishment, supposedly someone who represents your brand and quality of your Health Clubs, this Manager PAULA ZAMUDIO told me that she reviewed the cameras and that as per HER point of view; "MY SON RAN UP TO HER NAILS AND HE SCRATCHED HIMSELF ON HER" ,these were her exact words. To be very clear, I DO NOT ACCEPT THIS EXPLANATION AT ALL, I do not accept the way I am being treated by this Manager, I fear for the safety of every child left in your DAYCARE AREA. Someone in your Corporate Offices Must take action to prevent this from happening ever again. I have contacted my lawyer and I will get to the bottom of what really happened to my son with this rude Manager PAULA ZAMUDIO. I reached out to the YOUFIT HEATLH CLUBS CORPORATE OFFICE and so will my lawyer. read more

I don't know why this place has such bad ratings. I come to this gym every single day and I love it. Every employee is always incredibly nice and helpful. All the employees are constantly looking for ways to improve the gym and make it a better experience. I have a trainer here and he's helped me tenfold in improving my fitness. I don't understand the claims of it being dirty because every time I'm there I always see someone cleaning. I mean, it is an old establishment and that's not going to change but it is very clean.
