I have been visiting as a guest these past couple of days. There is alot of sexual harassment that goes on at this gym. The manager that goes by Chino, has made many inappropriate comments not just to me but young girls as well. He has grabbed the behind of the woman at the front desk making inappropriate comments when she clearly looked uncomfortable. He has made sexual remarks to minors openly at the gym aswell. He has tried selling steroids to my friend at the gym in the past which is something by the name of anavar? Claiming it would enhance her body. He also offered her a massage in the break room and said it would have made her "feel good", hinting erotic behavior. I have watched female members walk in and out of the break room. I once checked out curiosity and the door was locked with a female member inside. He also yells aggressively to his female employees and I have multiple times heard him calling them "Bitch". That is not a way to speak to your employees yet alone female ones. I plan that you avoid this gym as a woman because this is an unsafe environment. read more

Latin music was blasting so loud that I could not hear my music through my earbuds. I politely asked the front desk if they could please turn it down so I could hear my music. He said a class was going to start and that's just how it is. I told him I didn't like Latin music. He said he would see what he could do. Nothing changed. During my time at the gym, I observed certain areas for improvement that I believe are important to address. Firstly, I noticed that the customer service did not meet my expectations. I often found myself in situations requiring assistance, yet there was no staff available to help. Moreover, the cleanliness of the facilities is a crucial aspect that I think could be enhanced. On several occasions, I had to wait to use the machines while other users occupied them without actively exercising. Another point to consider is the hygiene of the equipment. The lack of a policy requiring the use of towels to cover mats or machines contributes to sweat remaining on surfaces, and the cleaning frequency by the staff does not seem sufficient to maintain a hygienic environment. I understand that each gym has its own challenges and policies, but I firmly believe that what is promised to customers should be delivered. this gym is a piece of shit, was lied to when I signed up about membership prices. I have paid over $200 in just two months, been in the gym for one month and got charged a $62 anual fee. I was told I'll be paying $25 a month and then I got charged $42 a month. very shady of them. read more

No puedo creer lo que me esta pasando con YouFit de la 72 Street en Kendall, Miami FL. El 10 de diciembre del 2023 me inscribí con un solo pago por todo un año. Asistí los dos primeros meses (14 veces en todo el año para ser exacta) y después no asistí mas por problemas con mi columna. Entiendo que debí haber cancelado la membresía prontamente, pero no lo hice porque ya había pagado todo el año por adelantado y no creo que me dieran ningun reembolso. El 11 de diciembre de 2024 recibí una llamada de ABC Financial diciendo que debía pagar el monto de la renovación anual. Yo le pregunte porque se autorrenovó, y me dijo que en el contrato que firme hace un año estaba estipulado la autorrenovación. Eso será verdad, pero no fui claramente instruida de eso, y sería correcto que el gimnasio te envíe una notificación de autorrenovación por lo menos una semana antes y eso ellos no lo hicieron, simplemente lo renovaron y al día siguiente si se comunicaron para cobrar. Prontamente fui al gimnasio y ellos corroboraron que solo había asistido 14 veces en todo el año, pero que para cancelar la cuenta (ojo no estoy hablando de que solamente cancelen la membresía, lo que necesito es que me cancelen el monto que me están cobrando) me tenían que transferir la membresía anual a una membresía mensual, ya que solo se cancelan las membresías mensuales. ¡Qué enredo!, pero bueno, si eso es lo que ellos dicen, esta bien. El tema es que me abrieron otra membresía mensual que no esta vinculada en nada a la anual, y ahora ¡no solo tengo una deuda pendiente, sino que tengo dos!. He llamado a ABC, y después de muchas llamadas, ellos me recomendaron que vaya al gimnasio en persona y que los llame desde allá, y que el gerente hable con ellos por teléfono ya que el gerente del gimnasio tiene la potestad de decirle a ABC lo que tienen que hacer para que ellos puedan cancelar los montos a cobrar, y ellos NO lo han querido hacer. Me dijeron que no me preocupara que ellos le enviarían un email a ABC y ¡nunca lo hicieron! En verdad ya no se si esto es ineficiencia del gimnasio o esto me lo están haciendo a propósito. Necesito que el gimnasio me solucione este problema cuanto antes, ya que, en vez de resolver mi problema, me lo han aumentado, aparte del stress que me genera que siento que se están burlando de mí, y de ABC llamando constantemente para cobrar. Espero que el gimnasio pueda mejorar su atención al cliente, demostrando más compasión y eficacia en la resolución de problemas, y evitar generar estrés y más inconvenientes a sus clientes. read more

Went with my son (membership holder) for a quick workout today Jun 17th 2022. Your site says you are open until 9pm but you closed at 2pm for Juneteenth. That is fine if you close but make sure you update your site and train your staff on finesse and customer service. The girl (did not catch her name) held up two finger and said we are closed at 2, mind you no hello or smile just a not nice face. The gentleman had an I'm going to hurt you look and said we are closed, closing at 2pm. My son decided to go in for 2min which got the upset faced guy look more upset. These are the people your members see when they come in to either work out or your potential gym members which I would be one. Different scenario I crossed the street to the Planet Fitness and was greeted with a smile and pleasant demeanor by the staff, treated me as if I was important. What a difference. Your staff is your greeting point it either makes it or breaks it. WE got upset because of their poor customer service and greeting not that you are closing because you chose to observe the holiday today instead of Monday. I will continue to come in as a guess with my son but I will not join. Might consider Planet Fitness instead. read more

I was looking for a gym since I'm new to the area and so I signed up for the free pass online and headed to this gym. Gabby checked me in and told me I was all set and to enjoy my work out. 25 minutes into my workout Arthur (the manager) shouted from 35 feet away, "You can't work out here on the free pass." I was instantly humiliated. Apparently you need to have a local address on your driver's license in order to utilize the free pass (Gabby nor I knew this until Arthur started yelling). Arthur repeatedly yelled at me that I couldn't work out on the free pass. Even though I stopped working out the first time he said it. Arthur never tried to resolve the issue he just kept repeating the the same sentence. It was humiliating and I left in tears. I had made it very clear to Arthur that I lived in the area and was looking for a gym. I even offered to give him a piece of mail with my current address on it. He just kept yelling at me. The day after I wrote this review Arthur called me to basically call me a liar. And he kept speaking over me and insulting me over the phone. When I told him that he was being inappropriate and I was going to start recording the conversation he then hung up on me. read more

It's a gym, you come here to do what you need to do. I am not a health freak and by no shape or form fit as the word is. I like it because it's inexpensive.... Just beware of the mistake I made... CLEAN the MACHINES!!!! I only use to clean my hands and not the MACHINES and I caught MRSA!!! Disgusting and annoying. There's a manager here that yells at you for having gym bags 24/7. The stair master has mold. Instead of worrying about Gym bags maybe he should focus on the mold entering our lung pathways. He not only reprimands people continuously but he doesn't even let you finish a workout before returning the Gym equipment, complete disrespect and lack of education. have been a member since it opened 3 years ago. What really attracted me here, and reason why I have been away before from any gym, is the fact that you do not get trapped into a contract...You pay a registration fee of $40 once a year and your monthly fee ($20 plus taxes) is very cheap...There is a cheaper membership for about $16 a month but with the one I do have can access any Youfit and bring a guest, which normally is my wife... I have been living in the area for over 20 years and reason why the machines and equipment are new and not mistreated is due to in the space covered by this gym used to be a Dollar Store and a billiard, so you do not find older or rusted equipment which happens when a gym opened in another former gym location. The gym is pretty clean, no smells of any kind and you have a staff lady cleaning the machines all the time, even vacuuming the floor (I have had tripped off the vacuum power cable twice!)...Also the staff there is super friendly, very attentive and always helpful. Every now and then maybe one machine is broken, but usually does not take more than 2/3 days to get it back to work. The environment is laid back, so you do your workout without any problem nor nuisance from any other customer, and generally speaking the atmosphere is friendly and relaxing. Maybe and this is being very but very picky, the only thing is that some people (and this is NOT gym's fault) use a machine foreeeeever!...They read and reply text messages, watch TV, chat with other customers and so on...C'mon if you go to the gym is to do workout not socialize...But except for those few people, everyone else is polite and considerate. Bottom line, being over 50 my significant one and yours truly have both achieved an improved general health as well as trim off that nasty overweight: you feel happy when the doctor praises you for keep in good shape and your samples show the reducing % of cholesterol, A1C and your blood pressure under control. I love this gym! For starters, I have been to several gyms throughout the years, and I have not seen any so well-kept as this one. Staff are continuously going around and cleaning, as well as picking up unused weights, etc. They are friendly as well, but the best part is the people that go there. The majority (not all) genuinely go to get a good workout in & are not hanging around wasting time by the machines like in other gyms I've been to. I'm always able to go in, get my workout in & leave in a reasonable amount of time. I have no complaints about the membership either. The fees that I was told I would pay is what I was charged on my CC. I was only able to commit to three months due to work arrangements & when I went in to cancel, I was not harassed about why I was cancelling. I've had an overall great experience at this gym & will continue to select this one above all. read more

Not only did Melissa kindly greet me when I entered, she also let me know the benefit of obtaining the lime card (an upgrade from my regular membership which is only a few dollars difference) $20.00 to attend ANY YouFit club. She knew which classes I was interested in and guided me and took the time to print out the calendar of another YouFit club in my area that had the class times fit for me. Arthur, the manager oversees the gym and its not all about the number of people going, it's about the well-being of the member who steps into the club! THEY CARE! read more

Manager too pushy. Wanted a simple membership and was given a full lecture on why I needed a personal trainer and should pay the additional fee for a special that was being offered. I ended up becoming a member of another you fit which a less pushy sales person. Had it not been for the pushy manager I would have given this place a better rating. read more

WOW! I signed up here near the end of 2015, it was great, for the first year, but now it is not the same. I've been now close to 3 yrs at this gym and it has totally changed. First and foremost, my WOW at the beginning was because of the pictures they have posted making it look so much like it is not!! Secondly, the staff, when I first started, used their personnel to rerack weights, they were more polite, spoke n greeted everyone, which is rarely evr seen by them now. They have more than enough staff which just linger around doing nothing. They are more concentrated into coaching and, it's like forget everyone else because that's where they make their money!! Last but certainly not the least, there is so many kids/ children attending the gym congregating as if it was a meeting place to talk and hangout occupying the equipment. In conconclusion, there is much more I can criticize but honestly, save your money because from what I have witnessed for the past 3-year, Management has failed!! Sorry. Honesty is my best policy!!! P.S When you ppl grab dumb bells from the rack step back away so others can grab weights as well. read more

This Youfit is really great. I love the fact that it is less than a 5 minute drive from my home, and the membership is super cheap. For $20 a month I am able to exercise at an Youfit location, as well as bring a guest with me whenever I want. So it's basically like getting 2 memberships for 1. This location is always kept clean and the machines are all in new and working condition. The only downside is that it can be very busy at night. Sometimes some of the machines are hogged, but over all, I enjoy coming here. The staff is great and friendly. They are always available to answer a question, or provide a service. The other great thing about being a member here is being able to take advantage of their great classes, and tanning services! read more

I come to this gym for free using a friends guest pass. This gym is very clean but has no other real perks in my opinion. It's very basic. Free weights, weight machines, a treadmill & elliptical section, a few stairclimbers, a stretch area, & a drink refrigerator full of water & 'ready to drink' protein shakes. Other than the janitor regularly moping the floor while the gym is open & full of members working out, I have no complaints. I am offering a review with 5 stars because of value but I like to be able to brag about the places I go to & there's nothing here to even make me recommend this gym besides the extremely low cost of the memberships ($10 & $20 monthly) & the perks of being a guest (Free use of the gym while visiting with a member.). Will continue to use this gym due to the location & price (FREE!) being convenient for me. read more
