I came here after running the London Marathon so I could load up on some protein my muscles desperately needed! It's a small place so I highly recommend getting a reservation or you will likely be turned away with an intimidating wait time. The food is delicious but can get pricey since you have to pay for everything (kimchi is extra!). Definitely get the Pork Belly and the LA Rib (goes without saying that you should cook it yourself at your table. The Korean Style Fried Chicken was good, but could've had more flavor. The Gal Bi Tang tasted very authentic. Consider getting the All The Meat Set if you just want to sample all the meats they serve. A lot of celebrities have been here so check out the wall of pictures.

This four star rating is made within the context of all Korean food options in London. Korean food in places like Seoul and Los Angeles are on a completely different, higher level. That being said, the food at Yori is fine. We stopped in during a rainy evening for dinner. Although we didn't have reservations, the staff seated us after a short wait. The menu was by QR code. They have a pretty extensive menu. We tried the spicy tofu soup (soonduboo 순두부), korean chicken wings and some other food item I can't remember. The portions were small but the flavor was ok.

slightly disappointed by their lunch menu, but their fried chicken was really good

Good place to get Korean food when in London. Be advised: if may need to order rice separately as well as still water. Believe it or not, everywhere you eat, you'll need to order still water. Europe is not fond of ice cubes in your drinks.

Waited a little less then an hour for a table without a grill, but that was our fault because we should have made a reservation. FYI you have to have reservations at least one day in advance, they don't typically take walk in's. The soy garlic fried chicken was amazing, especially the sauce. Sweet without being overly so. We got the set of four different meats for our kbbq. I preferred the marinated meats, but the chicken stood out to me by far. It was so tender and juicy. Pork belly and beef weren't the most tender, a little bit on the chewier side. But I liked the vibe, very busy and noisy. Service was much more hands off. I would've liked more banchan.

First time trying KBBQ in London and was a pretty pleasant experience. Portions are a little small for the KBBQ set but the marinades were flavorful. Kinda wish they had overhead vents, but we didn't cook a whole bunch so it was alright. Probably waited 45 min for an open table with a grill, but they also have the option to sit in quicker at a normal table. We also got their cocktails, which were so pretty and tasted like candy!

This is an authentic spot for good Korean food. You can do BBQ or table service. You will also get banchan included, not a big selection but better than most restaurants in London. Prices are reasonable and serves are big. We enjoyed sharing Korean fried chicken which came with a small salad and sauces. The dolsot bibimbap was a good size with all the standard toppings. No skimping on the meat either. Service could improve as it took awhile to get their attention even with several staff standing around. Otherwise it was a pleasant meal in a convenient location.

Everything was good and opened until late. Been craving some korean for so long and the waiter told us the kitchen has closed but still able to get us some food so it was lovely and great experience but no korean side dishes that i wanted though just needed that and it would have been perfect. Cheers! Recommended and would come back again for its food!

We had a lovely time at Yori. Staff were friendly and we had great fun cooking our food on the table bbq. Definitely would recommend and go again.

    Beef bibimbap, vegetable mandu

The mediocre reviews of this place are a grave injustice. Great service, great food. I had the beef bibimbap and vegetable mandu. Both were made quickly and both were delicious.

The experience was ruined before we even sat by the manager who was managing the queue. There had been a queue forming at the door, and we had waited around 30 minutes. At that point in time, another couple went straight to the front and the manager put them down on the list. For some reason, the manager lacked the common sense to check the queue, where many other groups had lined up for at least 20+ minutes in the cold rain. When we brought it up to him, he wasn't apologetic at all, and proceeded to sit the people who just got there in front of everyone that had been waiting patiently in line. We had the kimchi stew and fried chicken. The stew was pretty underwhelming, but the chicken was great. Won't be back ever.

Bulgogi Bibimbap ... the rice wasn't as charred at the bottom but still very good

I made a reservation via website. Got one right away verifying my email and all the steps that are required. I like it that the restaurant is pretty up to date with technology. Got a reservation for the BBQ grill. Came 1/2 hr early at 4:30pm for a 5pm reservation. Was allowed in early but was told 1.5 hrs for dine in. Told the Host that I only needed 1 hr max. I understand the time limit to accommodate the other diners. Online ordering through scanning QR code works great if you have good internet or WiFi on your phone. Took a minute for me to get my ordering in. The food was all a La carte. Food came out very quick. Very tasty and hits the spot for our tummy! Definitely recommend to eat if you're craving Korean BBQ grill in London! This is near the Chinatown area, so it's easy to hang out in the area until the reservation time as well.

The food was decent but was not worth the price. Service was bare minimum with a 5 pound gratuity fee. Do not plan on returning.

The interior gives you a sense of being in an underground bar somewhere in Asia, and it comes complete with Pucca dolls nestled on top of the booze bottles behind the bar. There is seating both upstairs and downstairs, but given how crazy it gets, if you're planning on coming, book in advance. I've eaten here twice, and I can safely say that the food is legit! It's surprisingly authentic given the location, and the drinks aren't half-bad, either. The Bibimbap with Bulgogi Beef is one of my favorites, thus far, with the perfect ratio of rice to beef, kimchi to veggies. It's one hearty dish, so come hungry. The Signature Fried Chicken is also done to perfection, and if you've ever had Korean Fried Chicken before, you know what I'm talking about. It's not expensive, but sadly, you only get 2 pieces. Believe me, you will want more. I can also vouch for the cocktails. Being a girly drinker myself, I can't pass up a delicious fruity cocktail from people who know how to put it together well. However, they also have a great Happy Hour with some of the cheapest beer you'll find to pair perfectly with your meal. That is how they do it in Korea anyway, isn't it?

K, K Place, I really wanted to like you but, in the end, you were just (O)K…read more We'd read some things about how K Place was doing an AYCE Korean BBQ option. It's so rare in London that we thought we should definitely give it a try. We made a reservation for Friday night easily and they were flexible when we were running late. When we arrived, we headed down the stairs to the basement where the restaurant was. It isn't a huge place, with seating for about 30-40. Not all of the tables have grills, but the vast majority do. We were seated near the entrance and heard another group come in for karaoke and were directed out of the restaurant, so if you're looking for dinner and karaoke all in one - K Place could be a great option! After having a look at the menu, we decided to go with Set B Buffet, which was described as 10 course buffet with unlimited meats (£28.99). They also have a Set C with unlimited meats and seafood for £33.99. Soon after ordering, the dishes started to arrive. Banchan arrived first with 4 dishes: kimchi, radish kimchi, beansprouts, and cucumbers(?!). Odd. The cucumbers weren't the usual pickled cucumbers (oijangajji) but just some slices of raw cucumber. Maybe they had just run out of their pickles for the day? But we would have preferred them not providing this super random banchan. All the banchan were OK, but a bit bland. Next came the egg roll, dakdoritang (chicken and potato spicy stew) and mackerel. Everything was fine, though the dakdoritang was a bit bland as was the egg roll. The mackerel was overcooked. The kimchi pancake was standard, not the best I've ever had but not the worst - pretty middle of the road. The steamed mussels was probably the highlight. Fresh and sweet, cooked well in their own juices and a sprinkling of green onion. We then received a platter of 9 different meats - it was easy to tell that these weren't the highest quality. Yes, I know I'm at an AYCE place but I've had great quality AYCE meat at Korean BBQ places (Looking at you, LA). Spicy pork, (fatty) chicken, pork belly, rib eye, chuck, etc. all super unmemorable and pretty bland. At least the service was good and our server came over to turn over the meats and cut them for us. They gave us a small platter of some vegetables to grill as well as lettuce to wrap the meat in. There was also a huge container of ssamjang, which I always slather into my lettuce wraps so that was a plus as well. We could have ordered more meat since we weren't stuffed but found it all just mediocre and decided that we didn't want the extra calories for such blah food. Sigh, I had high hopes but I think I'll just wait until I'm back in LA to have the real deal. Additionally, at this price point, I expected a bit more. Maybe due to it being in the City, they charge more? The hunt for good AYCE Korean BBQ in London continues.

It's on the…read moretastecard which is how I found it so you can get some money off your bill and if you select the 10 course set menu you really get enough food to be stuffed by the end. As I found out, when you go for Korean barbecue you have the actual barbecue in the middle of your table so you can cook your own meat and veggies just like you want them. But before you get to that there is an array of delicious starters and sides that are put in your table, meats, fish, seafood, vegetables, rice and soups. Once you go through most of those, you meats of choice are brought out and the barbecue is turned heated up. You can then start cooking your steaks using the special wooden cutlery and cut them up with a pair or scissors. This way you can be sure you have everything as soon as it's done and nothing gets cold. We decided to go with the set menu that offers 3 types of meat per person but if you really want to push your limits or have not eater for days there's an unlimited meat option too. If you pick that one, I salute you. Anyway, I definitely enjoyed everything I tried and look forward to going back soon. I recommend going there with a group as that would be great fun and you can order a greater variety of foods. Either way it's worth putting it in your schedule.
