The place is elegant and at the time we went it was not very full, which is appreciated. The food, without being mind blowing, is certainly excellent. However you will really have to pay for it. To the point I think it is not worth it. Charging £120 for a 100g raw Sirloin Kobe steak is just too much, even when it is quality meat and the hot stone presentation is cool. Same for the rest of dishes, great quality and presentation, pitiful quantity. I do not mind spending £100-200 per person on a dinner if the occasion deserves it. But at this price point at least I expect to feel full at the end of the dinner. An ugly detail was that we were charged £5.50 for still water. I do not care whether this was bottled water, we asked for tap water. As if the food and drinks were not expensive enough, water had to also be charged with a ludicrous price. And do not forget 12.5% service charge. But well, if management is able to fill the restaurant with these prices, why not? Good luck to the restaurant.

Lovely dinner and excellent service at this cozy hot stone steak restaurant! Melt in your mouth wagyu and wonderful sashimi and sushi bites to start.

They Just opened so I understand the restaurant still may be getting some things fine tuned .. and I will start with this the Sushi Absolutely amazing along with the Black Cod but save your money and skip the hot stone , the meat quality is mediocre and the hot stone they use everything gets severely stuck to everything it touches and it ruins the meat .. if you want to cook your food you're better off going to a korean barbecue place. But if you want to stop in for some good sushi enjoy !

Really cute unassuming little restaurant on Chapel Market. Sweet decor and nice staff. The food was really really good and the sushi definitely one of the best we've had around London. The courgette tataki with the truffle yuzu, though simple looking, was so flavoursome! We went for the special maki rolls - Suzuki (sea bass & pomegranate) and our favourite of the night the Crunchy Hot Stone roll made with king prawns and crunchy tempura flakes was way more than just your standard sushi! We ended with sharing a seafood mix hot stone which I was terrified of touching seeing as it's heated to 400 degrees - but wow the fish cooked so well, and melted in our mouths. It's pricey for sure but definitely worth the experience and we look forward to coming back!

little wagyu topped with caviar. It was the restaurants 1 year anniversary and they passed out these free gems including a sale sample.

We ordered karaage, and gyoza as well as a selection of sushi (Four Meal Drive), which was a really nice sampler - we loved all of it! Also got the California roll, which was delish. Yuzu pale ale beer rounded out the meal. Overall 5 star experience - great service as well as delicious food and location that can't be beat if you are needing something in Covent Garden.

The husb and I spent the day window shopping and checking out all the London shopping spots and their beautiful holiday displays. Ending the night here felt like the perfect end to the day - especially since Covent Garden is so pretty during the holidays. This location is massive and absolutely gorgeous. The foliage over the bar is amazing, and the holiday décor blended seamlessly with their signature look. We were seated at a small table on the balcony overlooking the plaza, a prime people people watching spot. The food was fantastic, as expected. Imaginative sushi that blends beautifully with the robata dishes, all with gorgeous presentation. The cocktail menu is also excellent - creative, great flavors, and memorable. Love the artful coasters! Service at the bar was fantastic. Unfortunately, table service was... not. We waited probably 20 minutes just to place our order. Our server stopped by once mid-meal after noticing my jacket had fallen off my chair (which we used as an opportunity to ask for water)... and then never came back. We had to flag someone else down to get the check. Overall, the food, drinks, and ambiance were outstanding, but the lack of attentive table service keeps this from being a full five stars. Still a great spot - especially during the holidays - just be prepared to fight for attention from your server.

Ahem, I mean, she invited me over to share her dinner with her. They give 10% discounts to students, no wonder my friend loves this place (yes we are both well over the age of university but she is doing her PHD or something). But not only that, the sushi/sashimi quality is pretty good. I have absolutely no complaints there. I have not had mayonnaise in their sushi either (hurray! Not westernised sushi!) so I am one happy bunny and will not refuse food from here. The price seems decent albeit at the high end considering you are doing takeaways. Oh well, as long as it tastes good!

I wish I discovered this earlier. With so many new Wasabi chains opening up, it'd be so much better if they were You Me Sushi's instead. The rice bowls are made to order, so the chicken katsu stays nice and crispy, and everything just tastes fresher, unlike Wasabi. There also is no additional charge for soy sauce or wasabi. I even love the fact that You Me Sushi has more choices than Wasabi. I don't eat salmon or prawn, so I'm left with just veggie rolls at the other place. Here, I can get their specialty rolls that have no salmon or prawn in them. Affordable price, great staff, and great food. Even though this place isn't close to me, I'm definitely coming back.
