Just like a few other restaurants, I've noticed that portions are fairly smaller in the UK than the US. We ordered soy garlic wings, seafood pancake, tebbuki to share, and for my main entree I ordered the bulgolgi hotpot. I was so surprised when the seafood pancake came and they were like mini pieces. They were tasty, crunchy and soft on the inside though. The wings were super crispy and had flavor. Tebbuki was good it again a little on the spicy side. My bulgogi hotpot was a new thing I've never had before, it's like if you took beef japchae and added soup to it. The beef had the korean bulgogi flavor and the soup did too. Spinach was a nice addition. There was also limited seating so for the party of 5 of us we had to wait ~45 mins. Not sure if I would come back since I thought it was just ok.

The food was good, but not mind blowing! None of their dishes come with banchan. Unfortunately, they have to be added separately. Their beef bulgogi bibimbap was great! I highly recommend leaving a thin layer of rice in contact with the bowl while mixing for a crispy edge. When we arrived, it was pretty empty, but it filled up fast. Even when the restaurant was empty, the service was slow, but friendly. I think they were understaffed because it looked like only one person was waiting tables.

Fantastic food! Very small inside and got very busy before I left. I loved the pear cucumber kimchi. It was the best I've ever tasted!

Pork bulgogi bibimbap was fantastic (comes with miso soup and chili sauce on the side)

Lime Orange is a trendy and delicious Korean restaurant in Pimlico serving up authentic bibimbap, bulgogi, soups, and more Korean fare. It's a nicer dine-in restaurant but with a packed and somewhat loud ambiance. You may need a reservation if you're coming on a popular night. Food-wise, I got the pork bulgogi bibimbap, which was fantastic. The portion was large and satisfying, the veggies were delectable, and the the stone bowl came out piping hot (I had to wait many minutes for it to cool down!), leaving behind delightful crispy and charred rice at the bottom. Unfortunately, none of the mains come with banchan, so you'll need to order sides separately, which isn't very economical for a group of only one or two, but it works fine for a larger table. The bibimbap did come with miso soup, though, as well as chili sauce on the side. Overall a great meal. Pay a visit if you're looking for tasty Korean food in the mid-range price tier.

Very delicious thai restaurant! Just few minutes walk from Victoria station, this thai restau exceeded my expectation! We ordered seafood bibimbap, soba tonkatsu and and beef bulgogi. All of them are good, actually best thai restau I ate even in New York. The seafood bibimbap is very tasty and the rice is so sticky and good. Soba tonkatsu is crunchy and noodles are thick and soft. Beef bulgogi is just the right amount of spiciness and perfect for rice. I take out here but the interior of the restau is small and has few seatings. The staff is amazing, quickly ask what is our order. Highly recommended if you are in Victoria station.

It's a small restaurant, but worth visiting. The food is quite good. It's a pity that they don't offer fried chicken.

We've been on the hunt for the best Korean restaurant in London. A friend had recommended Lime Orange and we had to check it out. Food: We ordered the tofu kimchee and kampoonggi for starters. They were both delicious. They deep fry the tofu in the tofu kimchee which was a nice change to the original tofu kimchee dishes. The kampoonggi which is breaded, deep fried chicken with spicy chilli sauce was very yummy! It had a nice kick to it. We ordered the pork and beef bulgogi BBQ for our entrees. They were both simple and good. We also ordered two sides of rice and a side of kimchee. Drinks: We ordered one diet coke. Price: 40.90 GBP for two people. Ambiance: No ambiance. Just a simple room of tables. Service: The son of the owner was front of the house the night we were there. He was very friendly and helpful. Would I go back? Yes! For simple Korean food, reasonable prices and friendly service, it's one of my faves in London so far.

Great food at a very reasonable price with friendly service. Went there at the prime Friday-night dining time but the waiters managed to get us a table and get the order out in record time. The dumplings were tasty, the spicy squid is a must have and then the main: Beef Bibimbap. Beautifully presented, full of flavour and utterly filling. The excellent bowl of miso works very well too! Definitely wash things down with a crisp, refreshing Hite beer. Top work, Lime Orange... My favourite Korean this side of Seoul. Dinner for two (inc, starters, mains, drinks, and service £40)

The interior gives you a sense of being in an underground bar somewhere in Asia, and it comes complete with Pucca dolls nestled on top of the booze bottles behind the bar. There is seating both upstairs and downstairs, but given how crazy it gets, if you're planning on coming, book in advance. I've eaten here twice, and I can safely say that the food is legit! It's surprisingly authentic given the location, and the drinks aren't half-bad, either. The Bibimbap with Bulgogi Beef is one of my favorites, thus far, with the perfect ratio of rice to beef, kimchi to veggies. It's one hearty dish, so come hungry. The Signature Fried Chicken is also done to perfection, and if you've ever had Korean Fried Chicken before, you know what I'm talking about. It's not expensive, but sadly, you only get 2 pieces. Believe me, you will want more. I can also vouch for the cocktails. Being a girly drinker myself, I can't pass up a delicious fruity cocktail from people who know how to put it together well. However, they also have a great Happy Hour with some of the cheapest beer you'll find to pair perfectly with your meal. That is how they do it in Korea anyway, isn't it?

Ordered the Tteok-bokki, japchae and tofu stew which came out in ten minutes. The standout were the rice cakes for being chewy but still flavor fully impressed in the sauce. The food for the lunch special was bland and flavorless (maybe the bulgogi needs the spice). I was the first person in the establishment so when I was seated the employees were just staring at me eating for the whole 30 minutes that I was there (a bit uncomfortable). I first thought it was because they were checking to time out giving me the check, but I ended up approaching them to pay once finished. I held too high of expectations for the lunch menu, featuring blandness soup with an oversized spoon (didn't finish at all), okay tasting side salads, and flavorless main dish.

Who doesn't want fried chicken that's so dirty, it's good!? Well, filthy it was but for all the wrong reasons. We started with the Jihwaja Hansang, a sharing platter with a little bit of everything off their menu. It was a massive plate topped with what seemed like reheated frozen party finger foods from a Korean version of an Iceland supermarket. Everything tasted bland and flavourless. The jeon was mushy. The mandu deep fried and greasy. The beef galbi was like sliced pieces of shoe leather. Overall, a disappointing and borderline disgusting plate of food. Then came the chicken. It was an entire bird, battered and fried. I was expecting perfectly crisp morsels of fried chicken tossed in a spicy, sticky sauce. Instead, we got a mass of badly chopped up chicken pieces dumped on a plate. The first piece I tried to bite into was the chicken neck. Yes, the neck. I'm Asian and have eaten a lot of iffy things but this was just bizarre. All the other pieces were covered in soggy coating that just slid off the meat. The sauce had no flavour whatsoever. I ate because I was hungry but seriously, it was some of the worst fried chicken I've ever had. There was very little redeeming about the food. They should be embarrassed to be serving this stuff up. Even the average places in Soho puts this place to shame. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Soho Korean barbecue - and only so-so. Arang had good meats (fatty and flavorful beef tongue, pork…read morebelly, and ribeye) for their authentic tabletop charcoal grills, but unfortunately, the good news stops there. If you're used to Korean BBQ anywhere there's a solid Koreatown, you know to expect the banchan to be complimentary and plentiful. I mean, that's part of what makes Korean BBQ such a fun experience! Arang, however, charges for the banchan (and we had to buy 2 "orders" of banchan for the 5 of us; each banchan order comprised of 3 small meager dishes), as well as for the kimchee, the namuls - we even had to pay extra for the lettuce leaves for eating the grilled meat as ssam! I can't tell you how dismaying it is to be nickel-and-dimed this way (or would this be "penced-and-shillinged" in Britain?) as it really detracted from the pleasure and hospitality of Korean barbecue. Other than the barbecue offerings, Arang's other dishes are uneven in quality and taste. Their bindaeduk was very thick, un-crispy, as well as un-flavorful, and was made the cheap and easy way with mung bean powder rather than ground fresh mung beans. A mixed seafood and vegetable rice dish (haemul-deopbap) was more American Chinese than Korean (and tasted it too - not to diss American Chinese cookery, that is). However, a Korean mixed seafood fry (modom-jeon) was quite tasty - and thank goodness it was, as it was one of the priciest items in their menu. The service was good, however, attentive and polite, and the waitress working our grill was a delight. That kept our collective opinion of Arang at 3 stars rather than 2.
