Once I arrived, she added $20 to the price but couldn't explain how the price jumped from $100 to $120. I told her never mind and went with the 1 hour massage, which was $60. Once I got in the room, she told me to take my clothes off, but she left the door wide open. I went to close it and before I could even finish getting undressed, she barged in! I finally got on the massage table and we started. After a few minutes, she left and when she came back in, she left my door wide open again! She kept talking to the other ladies working there, so I got absolutely no peace from this massage. After I was done and getting ready to pay, I handed her my credit card. She took it from me but then said if you pay in card, you have to pay $3 more. I asked her why and she said, "you pay cash then $60, you pay card then $63." I asked her why and said I had to pay taxes. I asked her for a manager because adding these additional charges and changing the price when I called earlier was starting to get super annoying. Instead of getting me a manager, she kept repeating it's ok, it's ok, you pay $3 more. I said fine, charge my card $63 so I can leave. She then went on to ask me about her tip. I told her no tip. She asked why and I told her it was because this place was super sketchy and I didn't appreciate being told I had to pay more if I was paying with my card and I also didn't appreciate the change in price. She said if I paid her a tip then she wouldn't charge me the $3. I told her no. She said yes. I said no. It was like playing a game with a child. Finally, I told her to give me back my card but she kept saying no. At this point, I told her to charge the $60 and she told me to pay her a tip. This was ridiculous. Ultimately, I left paying $70 total. She'll probably keep a $7 tip for herself and pay the $3 charge, if any, to the manager. THIS PLACE IS A JOKE!

Secondly, I got my haircut by Mary, and she absolutely saved me. I came in with very damaged hair past my shoulders, and I really didn't think there was much we could do to improve my hair. But Mary was so kind and warm and so thoughtful in listening to what problems I had with my hair, and came up with an absolute masterpiece. She was able to make my hair look so much healthier, thicker, and remove so much of the damaged hair but still give me such a flattering cut with amazing layers that frame my face. She even gave me product recs and wrote tips on how I could style my hair- seriously an angel wow. I feel so lucky to have come across this salon on a random day when I was really frustrated with my hair. I would highly highly highly recommend, especially with Mary! The owners and staff are incredibly diligent, detail-oriented, and always create such a welcoming environment. The pricing is amazing--my gel manicure was only $35 base price, and all of their other services are very reasonably priced as well. Another huge plus is that this salon is appointment only, which I absolutely love. It means no waiting around and no walk-ins cutting into your scheduled time. The salon is always clean, and they are very thorough about cleaning and sanitizing all stations. Overall, it's a reliable, professional, and comfortable place that I'll continue to return to. Note that this establishment does not do nail extensions (gel x or acrylic) if that is something you are looking to get!

I've been to other massage places in Washington, all insanely priced, but this so far has been my favorite. Chasden's massage was pretty much perfect. He listened to my specific needs and was able to massage the tension in my upper body with precision. Then in June I realized I was being charged $5 to have it on hold (which i was never informed of) so I called back to cancel it. Not once during these two calls calls was I told I had to give 30day notice or anything. Fast forward to July and I noticed over the weekend I was charged the full membership fee. After calling twice on Monday, I finally got a hold of someone who told me because I didn't give 30day notice in June I was being charged the full fee- Even though I tried canceling in May, too... (the person I spoke with today said she "tried to call me" in June but I never received a missed call notice, voicemail, text or email....) I was told they won't reverse the July fee due to not giving the full 30days, again DESPITE me trying to cancel in early May... The membership fee is a scam, I do not recommend signing up That being said, the folks providing the services were all very nice & good at their jobs!! Just very unfortunate that how the membership fee and that "customer service" call was a complete disappointment and I feel I was mislead/duped.

I kept getting a short layered back that needed to be grown out again and again. What a relief to finally find someone (Harpreet) that could look at what I had going on, see my goal and move me towards it blending and shaping to help me feel like I have a great cut and style while growing out. I always had razor cuts in California growing up. Everywhere else stylists were afraid to razor my hair. Harpreet without even asking her to do so grabbed her razor and expertly styled my thin straight hair giving me movement and texture. I can not say enough good things about the salon. I love that this is a full service salon. I had my brows threaded while I was there and discussed a brow tint. The salon is immaculately clean and organized.
