As a Diamond Elite member, I always appreciate how many dedicated spots they offer -- it makes arriving and parking completely stress-free. The staff is consistently kind and accommodating. Everyone I've interacted with has been eager to help and genuinely welcoming. There's also a small bodega tucked behind the front desk with snacks, wine, and the occasional branded item, which is super convenient. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. We usually book a suite with a living room and bartop seating, which gives us plenty of room to relax. The bathrooms aren't huge, but the tubs are great for soaking, and they're perfect for getting ready for a night out. The only downside on our last stay was the water pressure, which seemed a bit low -- likely due to the wet-room setup. Wine hour from 5-6 p.m. is always a highlight. They partner with a local winery to pour both a red and a white, which feels so much more thoughtful than a generic corporate bottle. It's a fun way to meet the staff and other guests, if you're in the mood. The beds are incredibly comfortable, and the heating and cooling systems work exactly as they should. Despite the busy streets below, noise was never an issue -- being on a higher floor definitely helps. And one of the absolute best parts: they're truly pet friendly. It is in the heart of downtown. The lobby and interior is reasonably fresh and maintained but small. It has a restaurant/bar used for breakfast and as a nightclub for late night drinking. The elevator area feels cramped. They don't have a concierge. The front desk staff were friendly. Interestingly, the main entrance is on the side of the building and not on the front. When walking down St. George you don't see any signage that identifies the hotel. It is very close to the University of Toronto, the main city museum and a shoe museum. You read that right, a "shoe" museum. Lots of shopping nearby.and in walking distance. The suite I stayed in was large and nicely furnished but not "new" nor elegant, The bathroom should have had a larger sink/counter area for a hotel suite. The room(s) on the 12th floor were clean and quiet. It is pricey but that is usually the case in big cities. I would give it 3 1/2 stars and would not hesitate to return.

Roger's Stadium (Blue Jays), CN Tower and convention center were all in walking distance. I actually arrived early but my status was recognized and my room was ready. Staff were very friendly and responsive throughout my stay. I was upgraded to a one bedroom which was welcomed. The room was large and comfortable. Better than the family's last stay in SoCal. The only room issue i had was the location of the in room safe. It was on the top shelf of the closet and the closet door blocked the safe door from opening fully. The other issue was 1 out of 3 elevators was offline the entire stay. It did make the waits a little longer. On the second floor was a very small gym but it did have a multifunction weight gym and cardio equipment. A water dispenser was located here. The heated indoor pool and spa was in the room next door. Breakfast was decent with a rotating menu over my stay. Scrambled eggs, omelettes, pork or turkey sausages, egg bites, seasoned potatoes, etc were some of the hot offerings. Cereals, breads and prepackaged yogurts were some of the cold items. They had both regular and oat milk which was nice. One note was that you have to provide your name and room before being admitted. There was a good amount of seating and was never crowded. In the evening the bar was open. Would come back and stay here again.

Modern/Ikea-esque decorations, TV, couch, coffee table, closet. The bed was really comfy. In-room fridge which I love! Nice bathroom, basic toiletries provided, hairdryer, and some fun post-shower slippers made from towel material. Bathrobes in the closet. Low noise level - we had good night's sleep. Shoutout to Michelle at the bell desk and Reuben who does the flowers for the hotel I believe for going above and beyond with helping me with my wheelchair and luggage . Food and drink wise the Fairmont has plenty to offer as well . Least memorable and overpriced item was the shrimp cocktail (6) however the cocktails I tried were exceptional! To enter the hotel, you have to go through two very heavy doors. (I started using the auto button on the side after a couple times of trying to push or pull the doors.) Then there is the front desk, which doesn't face you. It's a bit odd of a situation. There is cold lemon water available in a dispenser. I like that you need a room key to use the elevator. The room was very spacious with interesting little details. I had a room with two queen beds. There was a rotary phone, a record player, and two very comfy chairs. There was a mini fridge and a coffee maker. You could request to borrow a microwave. I loved the scent of the hand soap and body wash in the room. It was supposed to be "berry". It's a quick walk through the Green Parking garage to get to the subway station Bloor-Yonge. You can access line 1, which gets you around downtown pretty easily. The bun shop next door (Sang-Ji) was really good too.

My hair hadn't looked that good in years. Breakfast was uneven. I had the best omelet of my life the first day I was there (and that is saying something since I live most of the time in France.) The second omelet that I had was terrible and not even close. I had the breakfast sandwich on the final day, which was good. Overall, you get a decent bang for your buck with both the room price and breakfast menu.

My exterminator confirmed the timeline matches my stay. I have a doctor's note for the bites. Brought it to the hotel, they ran their own inspection, found nothing, and left it at that. No compensation, no accountability, just a shrug. If you're booking here, inspect your room carefully. I wish I had.

One important note for future guests: despite having a Do Not Disturb sign displayed, the hotel conducts in-person "wellness checks" after 3 days without housekeeping. In my case, this involved an attempted room entry without a prior phone call or message. Management confirmed this is policy after the incident. Had I been advised of this at check-in, I would have either requested that my Do Not Disturb be respected or chosen to remove it on the applicable day. Advance disclosure of this policy, or using non-invasive methods first (such as a phone call, message, or reviewing lock activity), would allow guests to make informed choices and avoid unnecessary discomfort. Overall, a solid stay in a great location, but clearer communication around housekeeping and wellness check practices would significantly improve the guest experience.

It's a great downtown spot if you're looking for a more upscale place to spend an evening. We spent our time between the Lobby Lounge and Bosk, where you can sit at the bar or high-top tables and enjoy drinks and appetizers. We ordered cocktails, wine, and a few appetizers, and everything was enjoyable. The service was friendly, and the live music added a nice touch to the evening.
