I would rate them a five star. Except that it is IMPOSSIBLE to get ahold of them in a short notice. Strictly online, so just be aware!

If you own a farm, you know it's basically a high-stakes circus where the performers (the animals)…read moreare constantly trying to find new ways to worry you. Dr Mikhaela is the only reason my circus is still running! She is the definition of professional--competent, incredibly thorough, and remarkably responsive when things go sideways. We have presented her with some truly "unique" and bizarre animal emergencies, and she handles every strange circumstance with total grace (and zero judgment). It is rare to find someone who is as brilliant as she is kind, and she takes wonderful care of every creature on my property. My animals are healthy and I am much calmer knowing she's only a call away. If you want the best for your four-legged family, look no further!

She proceed coming out and doing a very brief physical exam 2 to 4 minutes at 50 bucks . Then proceeded to say the area of injury she had concerns about it being in the joint . Then said she does not irrigate or flush in the field and proceed to do a coding scrub for a few minutes that cost a additional 60 bucks then suggesting going to a vet that had a clinic who who could do proper testing and flushing. I appreciate the input to go somewhere else but feel that if the vet does not treat in the field that should be conveyed up front so the clie t doesn't waste money ect. Seemed like a very nice person but I would not recommend for a horse vet.

After going through a learning curve with vets and a high priced specialist in the San…read moreRamon/Danville/Walnut Creek area, I reached out to our breeder (High Falutin' Poodles) in Applegate. Maggie Laney introduced me to Dr. Pam and the Meadow Vista Veterinary Clinic. Now my story goes like this. Our puppy had a lower canine tooth that was turned inward and hitting the roof of his mouth. The first vet saw it and said that might be a problem. The second vet said it was an immediate problem and had to come out right away and was referring me to a specialist. As I was standing in her office, my phone rings and it is the specialist telling me they had a spot open to see Edson at 7:05 am the next day. I went to see them and I should have asked how much the consultation would be. The "specialist" said it was a problem and needed to come out right away. She spent less than 15 minutes with us and then her assistant came in with an estimate sheet that was between $700 to $900....something didn't feel right. I went to the desk to check out and was hit with a bill of $125.00. Now I know something wasn't right. I called my wife and said I think we should get a second opinion. I reached out to another vet to tell them I needed a second opinion. They fit us in and spent the better part of an hour going over a diagram and plastic model of a dogs jaw and teeth. He explained in detail the pros and cons and the risks involved. He he said it was a doozy and that it needed to come out...His estimate was $350. His office visit fee...$35...Only problem was he was booked out for another week and a half. Meadow Vista had us scheduled in for the extraction a few days later and I decided to trust Maggie's judgement. After all, Maggie does know what she is doing regarding dogs and their health care....if she trusted Dr. Pam, that was good enough for me. So why am I telling you all of this.....to share my perspective.... my EXPERIENCED perspective..... to let you know how wonderfully blessed your community is to have a vet like Dr. Pam at the Meadow Vista Veterinary Clinic....Edson had been seen by three vets and a specialist. My experience helped me to understand that a good vet is the one who wants to know how to take care of most, if not all, of your pet's health care. Dr. Pam has that kind of passion and is very skilled at her chosen work. Bravo Dr. Pam, Bravo!

Update: Weeks later MV Vet responds on yelp with about what is expected as an update, what I did…read morenot expect was blatant lying....I was NEVER asked for more diagnostics, I 110% never EVER turned down any additional testing, I also was NEVER told to take her anywhere else besides the initial night before I took her in when I was advised I could take her to emergency care if I thought she might not make it through the night, at that point she was fine and I brought her to MV vet the next morning and it was not what MV vet is attempting to make it out to be...their BS reply is just to try and save face when they dropped the ball....lies lies and more lies, it's been almost a month and not a single person has contacted me....this is flat out ridiculous lying and false information to try and save face at a failing vet.
