This was the saddest "Asian" restaurant I have ever been to. Came in for a late lunch before we hit the road and we truly regret not leaving while waiting 15 mins for the waitress. Udon soup - they no longer offered this so we opted for the house special "homemade" soup which tasted like it came out of a can. Miso soup - was nasty, didn't come out hot or anything. Hibachi platter for two - not what I thought it was, instead it came out with multiple samples of appetizers. Wings, beef, Kushi, egg rolls, fried shrimp. Kushi and Osoba soup - it was the saddest bowl ever. Came out looking like crushed up ramen noodles. This bowl should have been $1 instead it was $12. Tempura chicken luncheon - didn't look anything like tempura. Tempura is chopped into bit size pieces. It also came with a dinner roll, lol ? Sauteed vegetables - is what you can find in an egg roll. Kushi fried rice and sweet and sour chicken - not what you're thinking, sweet and sour is not fried chicken pieces that comes with the red dipping sauce. This is skinless chicken in some sort of sour sauce. Fried rice is not fried rice, it was very bland. Looks like it came out of a box or something. The kushi are like fried chicken tenders on a skewer with onions in between. You're better off going to the McDonald's down the road, this is definitely not authentic. Wasn't sure if I was having Japanese or Chinese, menu is outdated, over charging for something you can get out of a can.

    Fried rice.

Least authentic oriental food I've ever had. Very bad experience. The Ramen isn't in broth, the sweet and sour chicken isn't correct, the fried rice taste like ketchup, and the meat is cheap and fake. Do not recommend.

Excellent food and prompt friendly service. We really enjoyed our Sunday dinner today.

Locals love this place. Me- not so much. Not really ethic food. More like a French Canadian spin on Japanese.

Not very Japanese. Overpriced. But the traditional ramen is good. Popular with trashy people who don't know any better. No surprise there.

I had rose oolong tea, and an alligator roll along with the Maine crab roll. I love tempura in my sushi! Alligator roll had a great crunch. Definitely glad we found it!

Maybe the lights were a little harshly bright, but otherwise a fine place to dine. We didn't get too many things, as we stopped in more for a finisher for the evening than full meal (we'd come from a party with small foods). We ordered a shoyu ramen and a dragon roll. Interesting note on the dragon roll, it has a sweet potato interior. This led to a distinct flavor from other rolls I've had in the past, and a smooshier texture, but a good roll nonetheless. The ramen was mostly a delight. Sumptuous broth, the egg was not too hard nor soft, and almost all the ingredients were perfect. Which I usually avoid that word because it's too subjective, but it seems to fit here. Major exception is the chashu pork. It was overcooked to the extreme. No other word for it, these dried out circles of meat were thick and chewy, and soaking them in the broth couldn't save them. Sad. Otherwise, some of the best ramen I've had since leaving Japan. The only other note I'd have is I just wanted some tea, and had to order a weird tea concoction to get it. Sometimes you'd just like an oolong tea, nothing fancy. I recommend this restaurant, overall, and hope you enjoy it too.
